Just wondering if anyone has purchased from this place called Everybody Eats, it is in new york.On the website they say they ship anywhere but I guess it came about for celiac folks in Maryland. There items are pricey but they look like heaven. I think the creme puffs are about 1.50 a piece but I think celiac specialities are 1.65 a piece so looking at both I guess they are not that pricey.....

Would love to hear any input about this place....

thanks

I have!

Everybody Eats came to my local support group meeting (in PA) this past spring and their samples were sooo good that I got a little carried away ordering from them... It got pretty pricey so I haven't ordered again, but if you're in the mood to splurge I recommend the cinnamon rolls. I also got pizza, spinach & cheese ravioli, and eggplant parmesan - all of which were fantastic.

I ordered the pizza for my son. He didn't like it very much but I did. We also ordered the cinnamon buns and my son loved them. Very good warmed up and they freeze well. I am now waiting on an order of more cinnamon buns and their Christmas cut out sugar cookies. The pizza was expensive to ship due to the need for dry ice and overnight shipping. The cinnamon buns and cookies do not need overnight shipping and so it is less. Hope this helps. Let me know if you want more info.

Thanks for the input. I think I will spurge a bit and order since the weather is cooler now I'll have it shipped two day instead of one day.I'm really not a roll person but not having a good crusty roll looked soooooo good on their site I think I will order them plus the cinnamon rolls. Oh what the hell I might as well go for the challah bread also for french toast!!!!!!! Hey thanks for your help..

Lauren M : where are you in Pa? I'm from near Pittsburgh, Pa. Have you tries the grainless baker yet? Their food items are pretty good. If I remember correctly I think they are near Scranton area. I used their mock rye for rueben's....

thanks

mamaw,

Actually, I'm near Philly for school, and "home" is Gettysburg (s.central) PA. Where is the Grainless Baker? Do they have a website?

By the way, you won't regret ordering the cinnamon rolls! Now you've got me craving them.

Very helpful. Oh yes, I am quite fastidious about not falling off the diet. It's just that the list of things I must add to the restrictions seems to grow.

I know this post is old but was wondering if you ever resolved this. My son is in the same situation. Villi healed but gastritis / duodenitis remain and calprotectin elevated. Now testing for crohns which I am freaking out about.

I did a little research and one kind of aphthous ulcer (aka, canker sore) is the Herpetiform canker sore. It is well-known that celiac disease can cause a skin rash known as herpetiformis dermatitis. I can't help but wonder if there is a connection. Celiac disease is also listed in this article as a cause for canker sores: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/canker-sore/symptoms-causes/syc-20370615 Are you observing a strict gluten free diet? You might also look into reducing iodine consumption as that is known to help with herpetiformis dermatitis. Perhaps it will help with your canker sores as well.

Do you wear an M-95 mask left over from the pandemic when you handle flour? Do you eat out in restaurants? Do you take vitamins?
