Is Coffee Gluten-Free?
This does not include anything about cross contamination in the manufacturing process. Of course we can read an ingredient label. The question we should be asking is if it's manufactured on shared equipment, putting it in contact with gluten. This would not be disclosed on the label. What Brands of Energy Bars are Gluten-Free?
In general if you see "gluten-free" on a label in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, etc., it does mean that the food is safe for those with celiac disease, and it does NOT mean that there is 19ppm gluten in it, as some people might lead you to believe. What Brands of Energy Bars are Gluten-Free?
The problem with declaring something to have "zero parts gluten" is that we do not have detection technology capable of detecting gluten concentrations below a certain level. I think maybe 5 ppm may be the practical limit.
