Does anyone got any good recipe's out there for my new slowcooker/steamer? When listing ingredients if you could please be brand specific. I keep trying but keep messing up and getting sick from time to time.

Great for making huge pots of stews and soups, the flavor really intensifies slow cooking it and meats end up super tender and flavor into the rest of the soup great. You can also to overnight oatmeal/rice porridge in it. I miss making the rice porridge the stuff was great how you could do it, 1;4 ratio of rice to a nut milk or water add some dried/fresh fruit like prunes, dates, raisins, or apples and leave it on for 5-8 hours on low and it would thicken all up. Then you just stir it and the fruits would dissolve into it and you might have to add a bit more liquid and sweetener to taste.....oh how I miss thee.    Anyway I use it to make stocks alot since I do not digest meats well but love the flavor and can strain out the meat and then make a soup in it adding sauteed onion, garlic, peppers, and fresh or dehydrated cabbage, tomatoes then finish it off with a seasoning. Also like doing Asian ones with a stock and cashew or coconut milk, Curry paste, sauteed onions and peppers, then adding stir fry veggies to it and cooking a few hours, finishing it off with gluten free noodles I can eat. Sorta do most by thought and mood sorry I do not have actual recipes for these.

After looking at Google images, the spleen is on the upper left abdomen, too!  An organ, part of the lymphatic system for immune function.  A filter.  Wonder how this relates to gluten sensitivity?

Hey, mistake in my post,  pancreas TAIL is on the left side.  Head is middle back of belly,

Hello, everyone, This upper left side pain is interesting to me.  I have this same pain almost all the time.  Started 2009 when I got diverticulitis for the first time.  Then had left ovarian cyst removed and a diagnosis of endometriosis all over inside.  Been attempting gluten-free since 2018.  It's not perfect, but still have that left sided pain.  Like up under the rib cage.  I believe the pancreas head is on that side, so I often wonder if I have a tumor or something there.  But it could also be an endometriosis adhesion in my belly.  I never got scraped.

One of my biggest issues is when a brand chooses to label one item gluten free, but not another. Why is Hunt's diced tomatoes labeled gluten free, but not the paste or sauce? I would have assumed they were all gluten-free, but why label one and not the others? It makes me suspicious.

Most of these items would be naturally gluten-free, with very little chance of cross contamination, thus they don't typically label them as gluten-free. If wheat is a potential allergen large companies disclose this in the ingredients as "Allergens: wheat."
