Candida Issues

Ok, so as some might already know from mentioning I have a infected abscess and was on antibiotics for over 7 months. I developed some issues with constipation, vomiting, and some others issues including a bunch of new intolerance issues in the last few weeks.

SO I went to the docter and had some test done, I thought for sure it was a SIBO issue but ends it I had no issues in the small but had a candida issues in the large -_- SO I am on some candidaFX stuff to kill it off, I am on a keto/paleo diet for UC so the food list and changes for this is not that drastic, just have to avoid a few of the veggies I use on rotation and get off of xylitol for a while. ANYWAY I am having some odd bowl issues,  during die off etc. gas is normal but hard constipation and stools with a mucus? This constipation is very different from my gluten or UC constipation, I feel like a constipated rabbit the way it comes out. NO large solid masses just a bunch of little ones and it is hard to have a BM. Had to 3x my magnesium citrate to even get it to move and then come in several small BM where I feel I need to go but is so hard.....I am so used to ONE big blockage that this little thing is annoying, time consuming, frustrating and painful. Is this from the candida eating most of the bulk and causing inflammation? The staggering difference of this constipation from my issues I used to have with it and even bouts caused by UC flares or Glutening where IT would just stop and then huge Log after a day or so.

HI Ennis!!

Maybe you could try that Chinese slim tea? makes me go! Are you taking any probiotics? You have to re lubricate your gut! When you are clean?ing the gut your also wiping away Everything.. including the good bacteria. Can you eat yogurt? are you ok with Dairy?

When I get really bad gas or issues I eat a whole quart in one day. I get some high quality probiotics too.

I am lactose intolerant first off, second dairy is a HUGE no with candida  the bad bacteria goes crazy with it. Your supposed to try to starve it off while treating it. NOW the bacteria strains in a yogurt are the type that are in a healthy gut and feed on the bad bacteria to help keep it in check, The stuff I am on to kill it off has one strain in it. I am also consuming a non dairy unsweetened yogurt in small amounts with each meal to get more of the good stuff back in. Will look into the tea, I know there is a type of laxative tea, tip of my tongue I have it in a cart on lucky vitamin. I need to do some more research into it and ask my doctor first. With a damaged gut, and FUBAR immune system its like a blind folded pinata party trying to find fixes for stuff....you miss and break the wrong thing many times before you hit your goal. At least I can laugh about this stuff after so many years.

My daughter,17 was getting stomach pains off and on for months. Went to pediatrician, bloodwork came back showing TTG-IGA 5.3 weak positive. Told to follow up with gastroenterology, continue to eat gluten. Can’t get appoint until end of Jan (we are on waitlist also), called back because she was still getting pains and nurse said to let her try to go gluten free for a few weeks and see if she feels better. She does feel better. My question is should I let her stay gluten free until the end of January and see what the Gastro says? I know she will have to be eating gluten before she has any further testing, but that is likely months away at this point.

Many years ago, there was a doctor who recommended never eating the same food within 5 days. Also recommended greens only 2X per week. Can't remember his name. Dx Celiac at age 87 by self as where I live in the northwest of Idaho, there is no medical insurance which covers Celiac disease or even will pay for tests!

I am so scared of going to my doctor because she didn’t give me any information on my condition just saying remove gluten. I have a number of things that relate to coeliac disease but the doctor never picked up on it years ago when I was questioning my health.

I was diagnosed with coeliac disease about 8 months ago. I have been on a gluten free diet since then but I am still struggling with symptoms.  My bones hurt all over my body, my hips and elbows especially. My arms are tingling a lot and feeling numb.
