Gluten, Corn, and Soy free low carb BBQ Sauce

So for years I have had this issue...of all BBQ sauces either having one of my NOs in them or having too much sugar. Like everything either has Corn Syrup, Corn starch, wheat based soy sauce, wheat based smoke flavor, soy, xantham gum, or tons of sugar....

I thought I was condemned to homemade sauce, lea & perry Worcestershire sauce, and colin liquid smoke for my BBQ needs...do not get me wrong the best burgers I make are with a light dip in Worcestershire and liquid smoke and a rub of choice, and even skillet grilled patties taste like grill made masterpieces. But sometime you just need a dab of old fashioned sauce.

I found this and it actually taste just like my memory of sauce from a local BBQ place with a bit less vinegar tang.
I am seriously debating ordering a gallon of it, I even tested it with my nima to make sure it was safe.

I don't know if any of these would work for you.  They are nightshade free and seem to be corn free.

Yeah looked into them before, great for those with nightshade issues, corn free too boot. Flaw for me is 8g of sugar in a serving....more then I have in most meals, would probably throw me out of ketosis and flare my UC.
Thanks anyway will help anyone else with nightshade, corn, dairy, gluten soy issues but not so much like me with that sugar issue.

Thanks for the info. I have been missing bbq sauce too. I was thinking of making some of my own maybe.  Weird thing is last Sept when my stomach was getting much better, I had bbq chicken a few times with Baby Ray's bbq sauce.  But now I am trying to avoid all corn.

One thing though, does citric acid contain corn? I thought I read it did, so have been avoiding it. But this bbq sauce link you gave, the ingredients say citric acid. But maybe I have been seeing wrong info about that?  Is citric acid safe for us non-corn people?  I also read magnesium citrate has corn, yet I bought vitamin supplements of actual magnesium citrate and the company says it is corn-free.  So confused???

Keep in mind that you might also have a dietary sensitivity to something else. Get into the habit of reading ingredients lists.

I would avoid gluten at all cost. Sometimes there will be no noticeable damage, but it is still causing an autoimmune response that will manifest in some way or another eventually. Throwing up from a macaroon sounds like something other than celiac disease also.

Thanks, Scott! I appreciate you looking that up for me. Perhaps that will be good enough for someone but not for me...super sensitive dermatitis herpetiformis here. I don't take any chances that I can avoid. ~Pam

Welcome to the forum, Liamclarke! We have reports from time to time of people whose celiac disease seems to go into remission. Often, however, it doesn't last. There is also the question of whether or not symptoms or lack of them tell the whole story. Many of us are "silent" celiacs who have very minor or no symptoms when consuming gluten yet slow, insidious damage is still going on in the gut. The only way to tell for sure in your case would be to be retested after going back on gluten for a period of weeks or months such that sufficient time has elapsed for antibody levels in the blood to build up to detectable levels. And I would certainly advise you to do that and not take anything for granted.

I was diagnosed with celiac and basically had stunted growth because my body wasn’t taking In nutrients which may explain the weight loss I would take this seriously and get tested
