Does anybody have eyes socket pain and dry eye when having a celiac gut inflammation flareup?   My doctor thinks it’s sinus however I can breathe fine through my nose. I also have brain fog. Sometimes this symptom ends up a migraine and increased blood pressure.

Have you been tested for Graves Disease?  It is an autoimmune thyroid disorder.  Ask your doctor for a complete thyroid test (including thyroid antibodies and especially if you already have celiac disease).

If you have been diagnosed with celiac disease, ask your GI to run follow-up antibodies testing.  This will help you determine whether your celiac disease is active.  You may have other illnesses that are the source of your symptoms.

It could be Sjogren's syndrome.  Tear glands and salivary glands get attacked by those antibodies that go on the rampage after exposure to gluten.  The tear glands and salivary glands can't do their jobs resulting in dry swollen eyes, dry sinuses, dry mouth, migraines, and high blood pressure.

An ophthalmologist can do a Schirmer's test which measures tear production.

Increasing omega three fatty acids help.

Been here. Done this.

Hope this helps.

I don't get dry eyes, but one of my many symptoms include eye pain. I would not describe it as the socket to me it feels as if I have inflammation \pain  inside the eye within pupil that extends into the back of the eye to the head. I've never figured out if it is tissue or nerve based, but definitely inflammation based. I can see the whole time no loss of vision etc. Just pain. I don't think it's an eye migraine, but tend to think it's nerve based.

I hope it passes for you soon. Not fun.

Thank you so much,  a few years ago I had this test and they said it was negative.  Since then I have had so many symptoms.  I will try to increase my omegas.  Would it be wise to be retested?

Thank you

Definitely wise to get retested!  You may also want to be tested for vitamin deficiencies, especially the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K.  Celiac Disease causes malabsorption of nutrients, especially fats, like omega three's and vitamins A and D.  The eight B vitamins may also be poorly absorbed.  Riboflavin is one B vitamin that is needed for eye health.  Check with your doctor before starting any testing so the tests aren't skewed.

Best wishes for your health

Thank you!

So I got curious and looked up the address of Global Food and found that their listed address is the EXACT same as the Roastery Coast nuts, the original product that I found the Global Food Gluten Free Certification on. Global Food and Roastery Coast are the same company. I'm seriously cracking up at how sketchy it is.  ROASTERY COAST OFFICE 40222 La Quinta LN B102  Palmdale, CA 93551   Global Food Office Address: 40222 La Quinta LN, STE B-102Palmdale, CA 93551   Business Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm   Telephone: 661-977-2300   Email: info@globalfoodcert.org

The only good part I see in their response is the gluten free facility.

Yeah, it's just a marketing ploy.
