Badia Spices

Hi everyone. I noticed a grocery store label in the spice section the other day that said Gluten Free, and it was under the Badia spices.  Funny how that store does not have the same label under the McCormick's spices (although I notice stores that put their own gluten-free labels don't do it for every single gluten-free product, they seem to pick and choose for some reason - not sure what their guidelines are or if the product company has to pay them to do so?). Has anyone tried Badia spices and felt fine?  I came home and checked their website and they sound legit, but it is always nice to hear from people who have tried their products.

I have gone to groceries and seen the grocery store label Whole wheat pasta as gluten free.  Those are nice to help point stuff out but they are just put there by some random grocery clerk.

Wow, that is really a disservice then, not a service. How crazy, but good to know.  The Badia website says it's gluten-free, but I was curious if anyone has been using that brand with good results. Maybe sometime I'll try it.

I agree with @trents, they should have run a total IgA.  What was the normal range for the DGP IgA test?  Different labs use different units thus have different normal ranges.

      Thanks for your assistance.

Get your total IGA checked to make sure your celiac antibody test scores are trustworthy.

I do eat 4 slices of wheat bread with almond butter. Yes it was a reference to my iron consumption.

To give you a frame of reference for pretesting gluten consumption necessary to ensure valid antibody testing, here is the current recommendation for those who have been on a gluten free diet: The daily consumption of at least 10g of gluten (about the amount in 4-6 slices of wheat bread) for at least two weeks. Not sure why you mentioned eggs and chicken. They are not sources of gluten. Was that in reference to dietary iron consumption?
