The ingredients for Welch's grape soda look okay but you never know what lurks in the flavorings. Anybody know if it's safe? I have such a craving...... :P

Go ahead and satisfy that craving. :D Welch's, at least according to the DB I looked at, is gluten-free.

There was discussion here a while back--best to use your own judgement and possibly check with the Co. yourself on this one. Here is the link to it:

BTW, I don't drink conventional sodas anymore as the corn syrup bothers me. I love Knudsons Natural Grape Soda. Its juice and carbonated water and hits the spot when I get a craving. :)

Whoops. I looked up grape *juice* not soda. :( I would still think the soda is OK as it should basically be the juice with carbonation. That said, when the answer is "you don't know," you may not want to take the chance.

Yes the grape soda is ok!!! I emailed the company and got a response back that all of their soda is gluten-free! If you search this forum for grape soda it should come up! My daughter loves it and has had no probs!

I was checking aip diet and discovered that aspirin is prohibited. I definitely can understand why that is but my cardio dr says to stay on it. So aip is done before I even get started.

You are more than welcome.  I think there are quite a lot of different types out there, my own nutritionist was a v. highly qualified scientist as well, but at least you can see what qualifications they are which seem to be quite well stated.  I wish you all well on your son's coeliac journey. Thanks for the info @knitty kitty! I really appreciate when people recommend things for me to try, it helps a lot! I will run this stuff by my doctor at my next appointment next week. It is also good to know I am not alone with the continued reactions though. It has been pretty difficult for me and has taken a bit of a toll on my mental health. Trying so hard and dedicating so much time to resolve this issue just to feel like I am running around in circles. But i'm glad to get some insight from people who have experienced the same thing. My family and friends just keep saying i'm crazy andthat i'm a hypochondriac. But the only thing that has gotten me this far in my journey and this close to figuring it out is not listening to them and believing in myself.

Thank you for responding.  Yes I am.  Infact, sometimes I think it's getting worse. How do you deal with it? I do the best I can but it has taken away my independence.
