M!x Restaurant In Atlanta

Just FYI, if anyone is in Atlanta looking for a trendy place to have a drink and a bite to eat, M!X proved to be very gluten-free aware and accommodating. When I asked if a particular sauce had flour in it, not even referring to gluten intolerance by name, the server immediately was on top of things, and took my menu to the chef, who went down the entire menu indicating what was safe or not. The server came back and indicated what items had gluten in them, and which could be modified. I had a terrific meal and no side effects afterwards. When I commented to the server that often I get a "deer in the headlights" reaction when discussing my dietary needs, he seemed surprised, as if it's something they deal with on a normal basis.

I would suggest you ask your doctor to order a "total IGA" test to check for IGA deficiency.

I did a gluten challenge. I ate bread yesterday. I immediately felt horrid. Depressed, fearful, angry.  I also had the weirdest night terrors and "day terrors" (delusions). They were do awful, that I am still terrified. How do gluten impact your dreams?

Thanks so much for replying!  No I haven't been limiting gluten prior to this test, I didn't know the Dr even tested for it until I got my results. These were the only celiac related pathology that was tested for. I am seeing my Dr on Monday so hopefully she can shed some more light!
