Body Odor after Being Glutened

Rhobhan Apprentice

My wife confessed that I have a smell after being glutened. I am batting six weeks’ worth of bad fallout after being glutened: diarrhea, nausea, weight loss etc.

i shower daily and practice good hygiene, but she says I have this smell—a “bathroom odor.”

I’m  humiliated to say the least and don’t know what to do.

Anyone else have this problem?

We have had members say they have experienced this.  Best to avoid gluten.  Hang in there!

I get a 'burning tires' smell now and then.  Is this related to gluten?  It is extremely foul.

I would not say that milk is bad for you, but for those who have lactose intolerance, milk allergy, etc., it's best avoided.

@Sammy Web, I'm sorry if I offended you. I was just seeking some clarification. Colloquialisms vary from place to place in the English speaking world. They can even differ from place to place in a given English speaking country.

Hi Sammy Don't worry I understood the English, and I'm from the UK.🙂 Trents is quite right, though, it is possible to feel perfectly well and have coeliac disease.   Cristiana

Thank you Scott, I have looked at the ingredients (and also spoke to Aurobindo, the manufacturer) and all looks like it should be (and I'm being told is) manufactured without gluten - BUT - wondering if it could be cross contaminated.

You seem to be confused about what is gluten-free and what isn't. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
