Mary's Gone Crackers are my favorite so far - but they do involve rice :)

Have you tried ener-g crackers? They are a cross between a ritz and a water cracker. I really like them. I can get them at my health food store.

EnerG makes a pretty normal tasting cracker. They are quite good.

my daughter and I like the EnerG crackers so much, I ordered a CASE of them! They are a great normal cracker...

If you can tolerate nuts, the Nut Thin crackers are great - non-celiacs beg to share mine. Another great crunchy/salty snack is Lundberg Rice Chips. Haven't found anything to replace Ritz - I did see some crackers on a website that claimed to be that. Maybe search the Gluten-free Mall and other places. You probably won't find them in a store but will have to go on the internet. Worth the shipping cost if you get a lot at once.

Another vote for Ener-G crackers. I bought a case too.

They aren't like Ritz, but I like Casabe Rainforest Crackers. To me, they are a more neutral flavor than Mary's Gone Crackers (which I also like) and work well as a vehicle for a slice of cheese. I've only tried the wild onion flavor, and I really like them with sharp cheddar. I wouldn't recommend these for plain cracker eating.

You can see them at this link:

As usual, they are pricey...there aren't many crackers in that $3.69 box.

I just found these today and they are so good!! They taste like a real cracker! They are called Pizzirilli and they are around $5 for a decent size bag. Heres a link:

I really like Glutano crackers...they are the closest thing to a saltine I've found. I like them when my stomach is upset. For snacking I also like mary's gone black pepper crackers. I haven't tried Ener-g's yet...

Two things: 1. If you are using drops 3x a day you should be sure to use preservative free. The preservatives themselves can cause irritation. 2. If the problem does not resolve, you may want to have a rheumatologist check for Sjogren's. There appears to be a relationship between celiac and Sjogren's.

I have purchased Roastery Coast nuts in the past and just went to purchase some and noticed a different gluten free certification on their packages (used to have GFCO certification) that I've never heard of before. Anyone have info on this certification company Global Food and what their requirements are for companies to be certified (ppm limit, audits, testing, etc)?  Thx.   https://www.globalfoodcert.org/

As far as I know, miso paste is gluten-free and should be added to the Safe List.  And, shouldn't soy sauce be on the Forbidden list?

@PlanetJanet, Sorry to hear about your back pain.  I have three crushed vertebrae myself.  I found that a combination of Thiamine, Cobalamin and Pyridoxine (all water soluble B vitamins) work effectively for my back pain.  This combination really works without the side effects of prescription and over-the-counter pain meds.  I hope you will give them a try. Here are articles on these vitamins and pain relief...
