I'm craving spinach quiche all of a sudden. Does anyone have a pie crust they'd like to reccomend?

Thanks.

Yes--the Gluten Free Pantry Pie Crust Mix--it is really good! I used it for a pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and everyone loved it.

I second the Gluten Free Pantry's Perfect Pie Crust mix... it's AWESOME! I've made all kinds of pies for family and no one could tell it was gluten-free... in fact I got many compliments on it!

So far it's unanimous. Hands down my vote will be the 3rd for Gluten Free Pantry. Easy to mix up and a delicious crust that tastes the way I remember pie crust tasting. Following the pkg directions is all that's needed with this one :)

Quiche. mmmmm.

#4 for gluten free pantry...

A friend and I tried 3 different crusts at Christmas, this was the flakiest and yummiest of them all.

Are you up for making your own? Bette Hagman's vinegar pie crust recipe actually works, and I have made a killer crust for quiche by grating raw potatoes (catch them in a bowl of water to keep them from becoming odd colors), mixing with an egg, some onion powder, and some salt, patting it into a greased pie tin, and baking about 40 minutes at 400F. It's adapted from the Moosewood Cookbook Cauliflower-cheese Pie recipe. It's a lot of time and some effort, but it's really good. You might be able to achieve the same effect with a bag of frozen or refrigerated potatoes for hash browns.

I have been using the eye drops every hour and at night the gel drops as well as the heating mask. I have been traveling and kind of slowed on this routine, but it seems to be back a bit more now that I'm back at work (on the computer).  It seems strange to me that I would start getting this after a couple of months into the gluten free diet. Between this, the muscle twitches, the anxiety... I am quite overwhelmed. I can't find much on people whose eyes start getting dry AFTER gluten free.

Welcome to the forum, @warren031945! Use the search tool in the upper right corner of this forum page to find articles addressing your needs. I know there have been articles done on celiac.com dealing with the question of gluten-free cheeses and candies. Whether or not you could find something already put together in one place that is gluten free is another question, however.
