Thanks :)

Thanks,

But can I just tell you how hard it is to find caplets these days....I have gone to 4 -5 different places. CVS actually told me they dont carry them anymore because the geltabs sell much better. Even their vendor discontinued them....ANyone else have a problem getting caplets, the sinus and cold ones!

Who here thinks these are the Meltaways or not? Those are the only children's chewables Tylenol currently has on the market, only last month they said they still haven't tested them for gluten! What is taking them so long, they haven't had any other children's chewables available for at least a year or two.

I might have to call that number again and check to see if the Meltaways are the Soft chews they are talking about on the list. Tylenol/generic tylenol is the only pain reliever my middle boy can use! <_<

Are the Extra Strength Rapid Release Gels the same as the Extra Strength Gel Caps? I bought some and was trying to verify before my husband has to use them and I noticed that it actually says Rapid Release Gels and I've never noticed that before (I guess I picked up the wrong package) so I'm not sure if these are safe and if they have gluten then the headache he has will be the least of his worries if he takes them. If anyone knows I'd appreciate the help. Thanks.

Your question was well anwsered by the pros here, but just wanted to let you know that Tylenol is pretty rough on the liver. I use Aleve. :)

I just called Tylenol yesterday asking about the Meltaways. She said that the Meltaways are still out being tested and the results aren't back yet. She said they should have the results in about two weeks. In the meantime, the children's suspension (bubble gum, strawberry, cherry and I think there's one more flavor) are gluten free so I just bought some of that instead.

The Extra Strength Rapid Release Gels are NOT gluten-free. I verified that by phone. They are not the same as the Extra Strength Gelcaps. I use the ES Gelcaps.

Jenn2005 Contributor

Thanks Patti. I was a little confused with the rapid release being on the bottle I picked up. I'm glad I waited could have been an ugly few weeks.

Jennifer--Glad you asked! I actually bought it a while back--not thinking. Anyway, I did call before I took it, and was so glad I did :D

Here is a link to the skin version, and the only ingredients are "chicken": https://www.perduefarms.com/en-US/perdue-bone-in-chicken-thighs-pack/60625.html There should also be ingredients and any allergens listed there on the package.

Welcome to the forum, @BeeBarnard! I really can't imagine how either skin or skinless chicken thighs could not be gluten free unless one or the other were treated with some seasoning ingredient that was not gluten free. Do the product labels indicate any additional ingredients added to the meat? Is your daughter a super sensitive celiac? If not, the amount of gluten cross contamination found in seasonings is usually inconsequential.

HI, My daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac and I would like to make her some chicken soup (she's got he flu). I found all gluten free ingredients but I'm having trouble with the chicken. I purchased Purdue bone-in chicken thighs from BJ's Wholesale Club. Purdue says that they are gluten free but the BJ's website says no. It seems like skin-on chicken is not, but skinless is. Does this seem accurate? Thank you

Hello there, it's been ages since I signed into this account. Wanted to see if there were other celiac patients that have gone through perimenopause/menopause and chose to take estrogen or wear an estrogen patch? I know all of our bodies are different but curious how it went or is going for you. Thanks so much.
