Hi,

I perhaps you can help....am just starting research on the DNA test HLA-DQ Alpha 1 & Beta 1 for celiac and non-celiac gluten sensitivity. Do you offer this test? Any thoughts on how reliable it is? If you don't offer it could you please direct me to who does?

We appreciate all you do for the health and welfare of those who suffer with this affliction!

Welcome, Vivian!

Celiac.com does not and cannot sell or dispense test kits, drugs or medical equipment. It is simply an educational/support online community. But perhaps someone in the forum community can answer the other part of your question.

I'm not sure about the specific test you are seeking, but genetic testing for celiac disease markers is very common now, and many companies offer it. Even 23AndMe.com offers a genetic screening for it, but there are likely other specialty companies that offer more specific results than the generic ones.

I was undiagnosed for quite a few years. I now have neuropathy in my hands and feet. Be watchful of something like this and definitely see a neurologist if having symptoms like numbness in your extremities.
