Has anyone done much research as to whether or not BP medicines can trigger gluten intolerance. I have been reading some on this topic and one study related to olsartan (sp) and other BP meds that ended in spartan. One of the one’s mentioned was Irbesartan which is what I had started taking right before I broke out in this DH rash. This week I asked my dr. To change my BP medicine and he did. However, what he changed me to is also one that they associate with gluten intolerance!!!!  I looked it up right after getting it from pharmacy. Would just like to hear if any of you have looked into this to see if BP medication can cause gluten intolerance????

Do you by chance mean "Olmesartan"? We've done a couple of articles on this. It doesn't trigger celiac disease, but can cause villous atrophy, so that someone could be misdiagnosed with celiac disease:

      The critic acid and sodium citrate is corn unfortunately and they don’t have to label corn because it’s not part of the top 9 allergen and not mandatory 😭

      Yaya, from the JAMA study you refer to: "Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity." No one on this forum is recommending  taking anywhere near that amount. We're talking about 5-10,000IU daily.
