I get a weird rash on my scalp, thighs and butt. On my scalp its just one or two bumps that hurt, you can't see them for a few days and then they itch, get red and start to puss. Then I get these weird pale little tiny bumps on my legs and butt that itch, its like dry skin but not, its bumpy. Is this a celiac thing? Anyone else with this problem? :ph34r:

I've got that too! (The doc I saw last week says it is NOT DH, but then again, she said I couldn't possibly have celiac because I don't have diarrehea (sp) and I'm not wasting away, so what the heck does she know?) Funny enough, I went gluten free & within a week, the rash started clearing up, so...

As I've read so often on this forum - the proof is in the pudding, or rather in the gluten-free diet...

      I agree with @trents, they should have run a total IgA. What was the normal range for the DGP IgA test? Different labs use different units thus have different normal ranges.

      I do eat 4 slices of wheat bread with almond butter. Yes it was a reference to my iron consumption.
