I like Diavola Pizzeria and Coppola's Rustic, both in or near Geyserville, CA (If you are ever in wine country). Diavola's makes their gluten-free pizzas in a separate area of their wood fired pizza oven, and also prepare them in a separate area using separate ingredients. Both offer some vegetarian items. That said, I still take at least two capsules on GliaxinX (an advertiser here) before I eat out anywhere, no matter what they say about their menu and preparation.

I live in the Palm Springs area. So far I can eat at: PF Chang's, Chipotle, Rubio's, Pokehana, Mario's Italian, Chef Tanya's Kitchen. Still looking for more.

Chick-fil‐A.  Grilled nuggets and waffle fries!!

Do they use a dedicate fryer?

MrsRose Rookie

Jersey Mike's cleans the meat grinder and has utensils sealed in bag. Pokehana has gluten-free soy dressing but they use imitation crab which has gluten. PF Chang's has dedicated fryer and so far, Chipotle and Rubio's has not made me sick. I use to be able to eat Red Robins fries with my grandson, but they made me sick for 3 days, so I'm guessing my Celiac is getting worse as diseases often do. No Celiacs are alike, that's why I really don't like making recommendations, I post what works for me.

I’m so excited to try them all no complaints about Oreos gluten free line . Everything I have tasted so  far tastes just as you would expect, but with no gluten.

I love Chic FIL- A grilled nuggets. Also the grilled chicken wth gluten-free bun-but it's not warmed up! What's with that?

Ala the gluten-free Oreos are a WINNER👍😀 I work at Amazon Fresh and we carry the GOLDEN OREOS as well as double stuff @regular gluten-free oreos. Taste sweeter and just as crunchy and flavourful

MrsRose Rookie

I'm glad Oreo came out with a gluten-free option. I cannot try them because I have RA and a blood disease....can't do inflammatory foods but so happy to see other gluten-free options 👍🫶🏼Glad companies are stepping up.

We live in the Doylestown Pennsylvania area and have two wonderful Gluten options!  Jules Pizza makes their own gluten free crust and Lovebird has Gluten Free fried chicken with Mac and cheese!  My daughter is going to feature gluten free restaurant options.  Check out her newly started page and give it a follow!  Thanks for your support!  Juliacs Journey

Your symptoms would not be typical celiac disease symptoms, but still could be related due to possible nutrient deficiencies.  The most common nutrient deficiencies associated with celiac disease that may lead to testing for the condition include iron, vitamin D, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin B12, calcium, zinc, and magnesium.  Unfortunately many doctors, including my own doctor at the time, don't do extensive follow up testing for a broad range of nutrient deficiencies, nor recommend that those just diagnosed with celiac disease take a broad spectrum vitamin/mineral supplement, which would greatly benefit most, if not all, newly diagnosed celiacs.

This is a difficult situation, and one that your employer may not take seriously. It's possible that they don't have a way to accommodate your issues, but I don't know much about your work environment. Obviously moving you to another work area would be ideal, but would or could they do that? If not, you might be stuck having to wear a K95-type mask at work to avoid breathing any particles, but they still could end up on your skin. Another alternative is searching for a new job.

This is an interesting theory, but it’s important to note that Ozempic, while it does slow digestion, doesn’t change the body’s immune response to gluten in individuals with celiac disease. Even if symptoms seem reduced, the immune system is still triggered, which can cause the same long-term damage to the intestines, regardless of symptom severity. Regarding sourdough bread, while it may have lower levels of gluten depending on how it’s made, it’s still not safe for people with celiac disease unless it’s explicitly gluten-free. The immune response to gluten in celiac disease is triggered by even tiny amounts of gluten, so adhering strictly to a gluten-free diet is essential for health and healing. If you suspect Ozempic or other factors are influencing your symptoms, it might be worth discussing with your healthcare provider or a specialist to ensure you’re fully addressing your health needs.

This article might be helpful. It breaks down each type of test, and what a positive results means in terms of the probability that you might have celiac disease. Re: tTG-IgA:
