Can I take gliadin x daily?

Is it safe to take gliadin x before every single meal, including my meals at home?  Can I at least take it every day?  I'm having a very hard time figuring out what is glutening me, or if it's a separate GI disorder.  I've been on a celiac diet for over a decade, and I'm baffled as to what's causing my symptoms.  My doctors can't figure it out either so I'm grasping at straws.  The main symptoms of accidental glutening is an immediate feeling of heaviness and fatigue, usually before I finish  the meal.   It feels similar to the beginnings of anesthesia, minus the unconsciousness.  It's a full body response, not just my GI system.

Welcome to the forum, Sunflower89!

I would suspect that you are not getting glutened, not every meal like that. That just doesn't make sense unless you are eating something that is the same for every meal that whose formulation has changed over time and now contains gluten.

But to answer your question, I do not believe it would be harmful to take GliadinX with every meal, at least not for a limited amount of time. It would be expensive, though. If the gliadinX does not solve the issue you might be wise to look in a different direction. Could this be a blood sugar level problem as in hypoglycemia? After we eat a meal, our body directs a lot of blood flow to the stomach and gut for digestion. Does this happen even after a light meal?

Blood sugar is the first thing I thought, too. Could be hyperglycaemia if the body cannot control blood sugar well. What happens if you eat a low carbohydrate, low glycaemic index meal?

It should be safe to take daily, and just to be sure I have included the founder here @docaz to see if he'd like to add to this.

The enzyme has been approved by the European Food Safety Agency as safe for regular human consumption:

They tend to follow the precautionary principle, so if they regard it as safe it probably is.

GliadinX is safe to take every day and even multiple times during the day because GliadinX does not accumulate in the body, It is only effective in the stomach to break down the proline bindings of the gluten proteins. GliadinX does not leave the GI tract and is excreted in the stool.

Also as Trents wrote it is safe and only costs a little over 50 cents per capsule but if taken very often, it can get expensive.

I don’t think it matters much if you trust the supplier, I get them from a Welsh company maesyffin mushrooms but I think the guy there has retired from growing now and just resells eu imports so it’s probably the same mushrooms he uses to make the tinctures as the company you posted. It’d probably be cheaper to buy dried and make your own tincture.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Have others experienced LUQ and L sided back pain when on gluten? Could gluten be irritating the pancreas to cause the slight rise in lipase?

Wow! I'd be interested to know where you get the tinctures. You can DM me if you wish. There's a Spanish company ... hifasdaterra ... who make high quality medicinal mushrooms in capsule form.

Jason, I have a bone to pick with your terminology. There is "gluten intolerance" which I believe is synonymous with celiac disease and then there is "gluten sensitivity" which comes from Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity or NCGS for short. It is true, however, that there is still a lot of inconsistency in the use of these terms.
