Dental Bridges

I had a dental bridge put in about a year ago.  My mouth has been inflamed even since.  Sensitive to hot and cold liquids and food.  Seems like I am at the dentist constantly having it adjusted.  I think the dental bridge may have gluten in it.  Today I asked the dentist to remove it and see if my mouth will heal.  In constant pain all the time.  Skin is pealing off inside of my mouth, lips burn.  I am constantly biting my cheeks.  Anyone have any information I can convey to dentist?  I have done a complete search on internet and not finding anything about this.

It's possible there may be gluten in certain dental plastics:

Before having it removed is there a way that your dentist can give you more information about the product he used? If you have a company brand name you can contact that company to find out.

PATIENT CARE Gluten in dental products: What you need to know  Many dental professionals are not aware that gluten can also be present in some types of oral prostheses and appliances, specifically those made with a popular acrylic resin called methyl methacrylate (MMA). Orthodontic retainers, fixed and removable dentures, temporary crowns, and denture repair material are types of products typically made with MMA.  It was discovered in recent years that the nondietary gluten found in MMA can trigger symptoms in patients with celiac disease and should be avoided.

@CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.

Yep, the edit window times out very quickly. It's okay. I got a good laugh out of it.

I hope you meant "pen pal" instead of "paypal".
