You should avoid eating there if you don't trust the gluten-free claim that Taco Bell makes for their items on their website. Yes, there can be hidden gluten in some ingredients, but that does not mean that the company did not do their homework before making their gluten-free claim.- allergen-free

Mistakenly eating gluten
It sounds like you’ve had a really rough week with persistent stomach issues after eating at that restaurant. Given your celiac diagnosis, it’s very possible that cross-contamination from the fries (since they weren’t cooked in a dedicated fryer) triggered a reaction, especially if they were fried in the same oil as gluten-containing foods. My concern is the taco seasoning. Many contain gluten. It lists smoke flavoring, which can contain gluten. I have learned not to necessarily trust menu items marked gluten free, since they don't always know hidden gluten sources like yeast extract, smoke flavoring, modified food starch, and vinegar. Mistakenly eating gluten
I just have a question. On saturday I was out eating on a restaurant. The day after i woke up with a little tummy ache and diarrhea but that went away in the evening. The day after i woke up the same way but diarreha gotten worse. On monday everything was almost fine just had a tummy ache. Same on tuesday but on tuesday night I woke up with the worst stomach... -

Thanks for sharing, Karen. Certainly a needed reminder what we already knew (and I've posted many times on this forum) but sometimes forget, namely, autoimmune disorders tend to cluster.
