I want to go for a endoscopy, but will the test show cancer in the small intistine / villi?

I have been gluten free for a year - should I start eating gluten again before this test and for how long?

If you have been diagnosed already with celiac disease, then you would not need to eat gluten again, especially if you are trying to get screened for cancer. Cancer screening would not include a gluten challenge, only testing for celiac disease would require this. While an endoscopy is used to diagnose celiac disease, and a doctor might also see an issue like cancer during that procedure, I cannot comment on what the best screening methods would be for cancer and recommend that you discuss this with your doctor.
