Hello all!

I'm new to the forums, but not new to celiacs. Diagnosed at 18 month old but not much known about the disease until when I was 18. Basically ate whatever I wanted up until that point. I moved out of the country and have been living overseas since and have found it easy to keep up with the diet with the stapele food of Nepal being all gluten-free.

Now here is the dileama. I'll be back in the States for 6 months pretty soon and have no idea about what I can and cannot eat these days. Anyone know a web-site that has listings of ingredients to avoid? I'm an avid ingrediants reader, but I don't trust my memory.

The Delphi forum has gluten-free lists from April 2005.

      She finally has her appointment today. They said in their opinion it’s likely celiac. But repeated the bloodwork today. Her frost bloodwork was weak positive 5.3 (4-10 is a weak positive) Dr wanted her own labs. And they will be calling us to schedule the endoscopy. They told her to keep Eating gluten.       Agreed. Dairy is just as bad as gluten for me.

      Many probiotics start with growing the bacteria on a dairy substrate leaving traces of dairy in the probiotics. Many Celiacs react to dairy in the same way as they react to gluten because certain protein chains in dairy resemble gluten protein chains. @Wheatwacked ferments his own pickles. Perhaps he can chime in.
