Judy,I'm getting inpatient for your test results. Since you said it would be 5 days, I'm ready a few early. :P I suppose you won't find out anything till next week with the holiday and all.

Are you going to go ahead with Igenex if these come back negative? Are you going to get a copy of the report? Just think, if you test positive with this lab you'd probably be even more positive with Igenex.

ANDREA, DONNA, PATTI-

OK OK OK

I KNOW YOU GUYS JUST CARE BUT HAD TO HAVE A DAY TO PROCESS AND FIGURE OUT MYSELF WHAT I'M FEELING.

THE TEST CAME BACK YESTERDAY AND JUST WASN'T UP TO POSTING ANYWHERE ABOUT IT.

THE :angry: FACES ARE BECAUSE '''OF COURSE THE LYME TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE''

NO SURPRISE THERE

WHAT I'M TRYING TO DO IS CONCENTRATE ON ONE ISSUE AT A TIME.

MY PRIMARY-- WHO I POSTED-- SAW ME ON FRIDAY REALLY WANTED ME TO TAKE THE ANTIBO FOR THE 'SIBO' SO THAT'S WHAT I DID.

I'VE BEEN JUST EXHAUSTED AND HAVE HORRID FIBRO PAIN WHICH I HAVEN'T HAD EXCEPT FOR A GULTENING..ETC. FOR 2 YEARS. EVERY MUSCLE AND JOINT ARE IN PAIN

CHIRO ON VAC BUT THEY WILL SEE ME AT 3:15 TODAY AS THERE WAS A CANCELLATION.

THE THING THAT GOT ME UP SET WAS BESIDES THE FIBRO PAIN BOTH MY ANKLES ARE SWELLING ESP THE 'L' LYMPH LEG. I'VE HAD TO USE THE PUMP AND OF COURSE THEN THAT STIRS UP THE BLADDER INCONTINENCE ...WHICH WAS GONE[/size][

ALLOT OF WASHING BEING DONE AROUND MY HOUSE.

THE AC WENT OUT ON FRI AM AND WE HAD THE HOTTEST DAYS THIS SPRING...SO ALLERGIES ARE HORRID AND CAN'T TAKE ANYTHING FOR THEM

SO DR TOLD ME TO KEEP OFF LEGS WITH THE LEGS UP AGAIN --AGAIN TO BE ON MY BUTT

WELL THE MLD PT CALLED ME YESTERDAY AND SAID THOUGHT I SHOULD SWIM AND LAYING ON THE COUCH PROBABLY IN HER OPINION WASN'T THE BEST IDEA BUT TO NOT BE ON IT ALLOT.

THE GARDEN SHE DIDN'T MENTION B/C AT THAT POINT IN WAS IN TEARS WITH HER ON THE PHONE.

SHE IS SUCH AN ANGEL...CAN'T SEE HER TILL JUNE TH TO START MLD AGAIN BUT THINK I'M GETTING IT UNDER CONTROL MY SELF

I WISH I KNEW OR HAD SITES TO LOOK AT TO SEE WHAT THIS DRUG IS SUS POSED TO DO FOR IBS. (OUR DREADED WORD) OR HOW YOU KNOW IT'S KILLING THE BACTERIA IN THE SMALL INTESTINE B/C SINCE I DON'T HAVE THE 'D' AND THAT IS TOTALLY UNDER CONTROL AND HAS BEEN JUST DON'T GET IT.

HAVE TO PUT IN A CALL TO THE GI DR...........SHE'LL HAVE ANSWERS BUT YOU GUYS CAN TELL THAT I'M IN ''SLOW MOTION ON THIS.

AND WILL I USE IGENEX NOW ? ..................ONE STEP AT A TIME..........I JUST CAN'T JUGGLE THE WAY THE REST OF YOU CAN. iT TOOK 20 YEARS OF RESEARCH TO FIND THE ANSWER TO THE TUMORS OF MAZENBRAUD SYNDROME.........DID MOST OF THE RESEARCH FOR MY DR'S WHILE WORKING WITH THEM AT THE HOSPITAL -------

SO PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE WITH ME FRIENDS...........I'M IN A SLOWER DRIVING LANE OF THE HEALTH FREEWAY THAN YOU GUYS.

THANKS FOR CARING AND WANTING TO HELP.

WOULD LOVE TO KNOW IF LAURA STARTED ON HER PERSCRIPTION OVER THE WEEKEND???

Rinne,

Good letter. For what it's worth I think he should issue you a refune of some sort. The whole way you were treated really irritates me.

Good news!! All the finger crossing WORKED!! :D

I got an appt!!!! WOO-HOO...positive energy really does work! B)

I didnt have to call over there...I got a call early this morning from Dr. Amy's nurse...she said Scott had emailed her and said that I didnt get scheduled in....they're gonna fit me in very early Sunday morning!! :D

Thats her last day here...the 10th. Last time I was her last patient and she went straight to the airport after seeing me. This time I will be her first appt. on the last day...I'm going at 8:00 am. :)

Woo Hoo!!

Donna on the 2nd and you on the 10th. :D

OF COURSE THE LYME TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE

Judy,

You're right, that's no surprise. I'm sorry though. :( I don't know what tests they run for co-infections but maybe you could have that done with the western blots from Igenex when you are ready.

I really think your issues are from unresolved lyme or co-infections that weren't dealt with prior to this.

Love and hugs.

AndreaB Contributor

Judy,

I forgot to add that I'm sorry about the allergies and A/C. My allergies aren't good this time of year either. Having to have the windows open all day would make me miserable, and I don't take anything for them either.

RACHEL SUCH GOOD NEWS ABOUT THE APT................YEAH

GOOD BIRTHDAY PRESENT..........THE BEST!

CarlaB Enthusiast
I have had obsessive thoughts since the age of four or five. It has exhausted me to the point of tears.

I just let them be background noise ... like when people leave the TV on. My family doesn't even know about them ... like I said, I never mention it. I just thought it might be useful for you to know that all this stuff messes with my brain, too. :)

Carla - - you are SO blesssed to have Adam, and your family.

VERY, VERY blessed.

I have never had the problems with working out and keeping track of reps - nothing like that. Mine has been an auditory processing thing, quite a lot - - I will hear the first word or two or three in a directive sentnece, or a sentence containing information. I struggle a great deal with reading and keeping track of things here, for example, and I don't read books any more. And this is the girl who read East of Eden and Nicholas and Alexandra in the fourth grade. :( Haven't finished more than three or four books in the last five years. I can't take LOTS of information and make it concise - - can't take empirical data and come up with a conclusion. Much better now - - but still not optimal.

I also have trouble reading. I cannot read blocks of information. Posts like Rachel's (or mine), which are broken up cause no problem for me. I used to read LOTS of books. Now I can't. Message boards are good for me because a post is about as much as I can read at one time.

I cannot have someone read outloud to me. I just don't process the information. It drives Adam crazy ... he'll try to read an article to me and I just won't get it ... I'll have to read it myself, then he's offended that he didn't read it well enough. Now he understands.

Some days I have trouble with directions or questions. My kids can tell because I get a glassy look ... they either simplify or ask later or ask Adam.

It's not like this all the time, but on bad days it is. I do better with this medium, so it doesn't show as much to you as to the people I talk to.

I think it's from being in a toxic state. When too much bacteria gets killed off, then I'm much worse ... like during a herx or starting a new medication. So, something is making you toxic. It could be mercury, it could be Lyme.

Andrea - - hugs. If God wants me to have the western blot.....you know, I've been wanting to paint in oils again - bright, Fauvist abstact, as I did before. Many of my oils are dried and old, and I never bought any at work - not that great a discount. so - - I said to God, whilst praying - if you want me to paint , you'll have to provide the subject matter, materials, etc. Well.....my friend and her husbnad were here just yesterday, showing me their new car. Her husbnad is a talented painter, but in watercolor. So, he was looking at my paintings, a bit out of his mind, I have to say. :) And then we walked into this room where there were two of my oils, and I just casually mentioned, I really want to do more of these oils. That's all I said. And Brad says, I just received about $1000 worth of oil paints (from his wife's father), that I"ll never use.......

and he's giving almost all of it to me.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

That's awesome!!!

(I promise I"ll keep my silliness to a minimum

Don't you dare! :P

Here is the letter I just emailed my ex-doctor:

Dr. Huffy, Okay I didn't actually address it that way.

Regarding your phone call two weeks ago about the email I sent to Maria, I have decided not to call you back but rather to put my thoughts into this email. I didn't care for the tone of your voice.

I was beyond shocked that you did not have the Igenex test results in front of you when we spoke on the phone, a 15 minute phone consultation specifically set up to discuss those results. I heard you shuffling through papers trying to find it and when I brought up issues related to the indeterminates on the test you became abrupt, defensive and dismissive. More importantly, you did not seem to have noticed that the test results said I should be treated for Lyme and retested. It was obvious that you had only glanced at the negative result.

When I brought up the other tests that were done, including the muscle testing that you did and the tests done by Dr.X which showed Lyme you dismissed them. I wondered why I had paid hundreds of dollars for tests you ignored.

Then, since you didn't seem actually interested in discussing the indeterminates I proceeded to ask you questions regarding the other tests and you told me that since the phone consult was set up to discuss the Igenex results you weren't prepared to go into depth about my other tests, that was to be in the hour consult.

After our phone call I did not schedule the hour long consult, I was undecided as to whether or not I wished to expend further energy or money dealing with you. I felt like I had been treated by you precisely the same way I had been treated by conventional doctors but since I had invested so much money in getting the tests done in the first place.... This was in November of 2006 I believe.

Then December came and with it a notice about supplements

This decided it for me, I was so ill in January and in so much pain I didn't have the energy to try further.

You, Dr.Huffy, make a wonderful first impression and certainly seem to inspire people to health but I think you may be most successful with people who are not ill. I am sure many will benefit from the changes in their lifestyle that you recommend but I am left wanting a refund.

And how absolutely hilarious that you didn't call to see how I was doing, no, you called because I insulted you.

Seriously laughing, do you know the expression ROTFLMAO? That's where I am.

Rinne

I feel so much better for writing that.

RINNE-----------------

HOW DID I MISS THIS..........

WOW WHAT A LETTER.

SO IMPRESSED.

I WOULD BE INTERESTED TO SEE IF YOU GET THE REFUND...........?

--AFTER XENIA OHIO...........

THAT WAS TERRIFYING!!! WE LIVED SOUTH OF THERE IN OHIO, BUT THE NEXT DAY HAD TO BE UP NEAR XENIA FOR A FAMILY FUNCTION. THE HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE PEOPLE WE WERE VISITING WAS TOTALLY FLATTENED. WE, PERSONALLY, DIDN'T HAVE ANY DAMAGE, EXCEPT FOR DOWNED TREES.

WE HAD SOME TORNADOES WHERE WE USED TO LIVE THAT GOT REALLY CLOSE. ONCE WE WERE DRIVING TO FLORIDA AND A FRIEND OF OURS FROM INDIANAPOLIS CALLED TO SEE IF WE WERE OKAY. WE WERE DRIVING THROUGH ATLANTA AT THE TIME ... THEN THE LOCAL NEWS CALLED US!!! THEY WERE TRYING TO FIND OUT EXACTLY WHERE THE STORM WAS. WE WEREN'T TOO WORRIED BECAUSE NONE OF US OR OUR PETS WERE AT HOME ... WE'D BEEN TRYING TO SELL OUR HOUSE FOR YEARS ... NO LUCK, THE TORNADO MISSED US COMPLETELY.

ONCE TORNADOES WENT THROUGH WHEN THAT HOUSE WAS FOR SALE, BUT WE HAD MOVED TO OHIO (WE HAD TO LATER MOVE BACK BECAUSE IT DIDN'T SELL <_< , THIS WAS THE STRESS THAT CAUSED THIS LYME FLARE UP TO START ... ALONG WITH THE DOXYCYCLINE). OUR REALTOR CALLED AND TOLD US THAT ONE OF HER LISTINGS WAS FLATENED BY THE TORNADO ... BUT IT WASN'T OURS.

THEN, WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS OF OUR MOVING THE HOUSE GOT STRUCK BY LIGHTENING. BLEW OUT EVERYTHING ELECTRIC IN THE HOUSE -- WASHER, DRYER, ETC. DID MAJOR ROOF DAMAGE. :o

CarlaB Enthusiast
Maybe it's the stress of work. Could it be something like Susan posted but affecting your GI tract instead?

i think I've mentioned it here before, I had a job where I would throw up every time I walked in the door at work. I'd come down with a 102 degree fever. Then I'd go home and be fine. It was a very stressful job ... obviously I had to quit. It was a bad Lyme flare, but went away on its own after not working for a few months.

I just Googled Risotteria and got the address. I'm not that well-versed on what's what in NY ... it's the only place I've been actually.

You are very cute when you are babbling.

YAY!!!!! Very cool!

YAY...I will definately have to thank Scott for all that he did to get me in.

I've been trying to think of something or someway to thank him...I'm getting the same good deal you got on ART sessions with him!

OK OK OK

I KNOW YOU GUYS JUST CARE BUT HAD TO HAVE A DAY TO PROCESS AND FIGURE OUT MYSELF WHAT I'M FEELING.

We'll have patience, because we DO care! We all need to go through our own processes in our own time with our health. I don't think I would have been as willing to do some of the things I'm trying now if I hadn't tried so many conventional treatments/ideas first.

CarlaB Enthusiast

Mia, sorry you're not feeling well.

Rachel, glad about the appt.

JUDY, GET A COPY OF YOUR RESULTS. IT'S POSSIBLE THAT IT SHOWED SOME POSITIVE BANDS, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO BE A CDC POSITIVE. MOST DOCTORS DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT THE CDC STANDARDS ARE NOT FOR DIAGNOSTIC PURPOSES. GET YOUR RESULTS AND POST THEM HERE SO WE CAN HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THEM. ;)

I HAVE TO GIVE YOU ONE LAST PUSH ON LYME ... YOU HAD FOUR BULL'S EYE RASHES. WERE YOU TREATED AFTER EVERY SINGLE ONE? IF NOT, THEN YOU HAVE LYME. THE RASH IS DIAGNOSTIC ON ITS OWN. YOU DON'T NEED A TEST IN THAT CASE, YOU JUST NEED AN LLMD.

jerseyangel Proficient

Yea! Rachel--I had a feeling they would be able to work you in ;)

Judy--As you and I have discussed many times, I'm completely behind you with whatever you choose to do. :)

Rinne--That letter was beautiful! I'm sure it felt so good to write it and get it completely off your chest. Way to make someone accountable! :D

*I think he owes you a refund, too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADAME PRESIDENT!!!!

And

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Laura and Eric!!!

sorry haven't been posting much becasue i have been feeling really bad but had to chime in....

HAPPY BDAY RACHEL-

you have the right to rachel ice cream today and if I was closer to you I would cook you up a gluten/ sulfite/ mold free meal but alas that will have to wait. I hope you have a great day. Take it easy bath in some epsom salts and get some sun.

Miamia

Awwww darling Mia, so sorry you're not feelign well, I think you need a bath and some sun also! And I Hope you're not trying to get too much done today......

Patti - dang that itchiness - - hope it subsides soon for you......

I cannot have someone read outloud to me. I just don't process the information. It drives Adam crazy ... he'll try to read an article to me and I just won't get it ... I'll have to read it myself, then he's offended that he didn't read it well enough. Now he understands.

I can TOTALLY relate to this! But - - I do think some of this has to do with the way we process information - - as in learning modalities - - I am very much a visual learner - - and some are much more auditory. Having someone read aloud to me is one of the things I think they do in hell. And yet, I listen to Garrison Keillor every Saturday. but, he doesn't cram tons of info in - just sweet, anecdotal tales and things, and his voice is VERY soothing for me. I also download his poscasts and listen to them again on my Ipod.

But, during advanced malnutrition, the last few years before Celiac dx, I don't think I could have done that.......literally couldn't follow. I was down to watching the STUPIDEST things on TV - - celebrity gossip, stupid reality shows - etc - - and couldn't even finish a MAGAZINE. Carla I think your issues with this has everything to do wtih Lyme.....mine had to do wtih Celiac, and I do think you and I will both be back to our cute, babbling, brainy selves. :)

ANDREA - - I have an appointment too!! My new shrink, this coming Monday, June 4th. I was not receiving any treatment - - and here is ANOTHER ANSWER TO PRAYER, friends - - my fabulous, wonderful older cousins in Boston - - did I mention they are loaded? holy cow - - the kindest people. She got a master's in social work, in her fifties, I think, just to learn as much as she could about many things......SHE is the one who diagnosed me bipolar in 1997, and forced me to go to a doctor in Monterey (actually I'd been diagnosed BP in my 20's but refused to be on a mood stabilizer - not a good move.....) Anywho - - cousin Mary keeps me accountable......knows that I can still fall into the pit now and then.....knows that my shrink is an ANTIQUE and I haven't seen him in 9 months - - he just continues to refill drugs (yeah, great doctor <_< ).......Well, my cousins are paying the copay for me to get into a GOOD psychiatrist.......and I've been waiting for this appointment for two months. :)

And as to psychiatry - - - my cousin really thinks that all depression can be cured with drugs/diet/exercise.....she is a very holistic person - - very proactive - - but, I do think some th ings are just life issues......nevertheless I do need a good doctor.

so - - - ANOTHER BLESSING!!!!!

JUDY ---- OH MY GOD - - - HONEY, BIG HUG FOR YOU - - HANG IN THERE - - WE'LL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF EVERYTHING.......I CAN IMAGINE HOW FRUSTRATED YOU ARE FEELING. DON'T GIVE UP - JUST TAKE A SHORT BREAK.....SENDING LOVE.

RINNE - - Most excellent letter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that heinous buffoon of a doctor will not be pleased, and yet will also be so chagrined.....but no, I don't think you'll be getting a refund.......please refresh my memory, and fill in the gaps of my absence, is he an LLMD? the horror......

DONNA - - -- I think you have to quit your job - - - I think it's making you sick!!!

gotta try and walk the dingos.....

xoxo

Yup. Ultimately, I think the brain issues come from toxicity ... it's amazing how not having your body in balance can affect your whole person, including your brain. I just wanted you to know that you're not the only one with brain issues ... it affects us all!

I can listen to people talk just fine ... it's ONLY when they're reading to me that I have trouble. Well, unless I'm having a flare, then I don't understand anything.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!!!!!

Bev...I'm familar with most of Dr. Klinghardt's articles. He's a very well known Dr. in the alternative world of medicine. He's one of the worlds leading experts on mercury detox. I've posted alot of stuff from him on that topic.

......

Under general detox I'm just doing epsom salt/baking soda baths...this is just something I started doing on my own. It wasnt mentioned in my treatment plan or anything.

For heavy metals I'm on NDF and multi-minerals. I'm not tolerating chlorella very well right now so not taking it. Eventually I will be on one of the pharmacueticul drugs for metal detox...probably DMPS...but thats still a ways away.

For the liver she didnt put me on anything thats listed on that page. I started doing the castor oil and coffee enemas on my own cuz I've heard so many good things. Castor oil was recommended by my BioSET practitioner.

For kidneys I'm on something not listed here.

For Fungal I'm on Nystatin and might also get put on the Fungal Defense (transformation enzymes).

For Lyme and Babesia I'm on Samento and PC-Noni....but not the brands listed.

I get treated based on my ART results.

Dr. Derksen (Dr. Amy) is one of my LLMD's...she worked with Klinghardt for a couple years and she had extensive training from him. She's in Washington though so I only get to see her every 3 months. I also have an LLMD right here that I see more frequently....he's an M.D.....he doesnt do ART or anything like that. He wants me on the same stuff Dr. Derksen wants me on...so they're on the same page. He doesnt want me on antibiotics at all...at least not any time soon.

If he puts me on antibiotics it will be more near the end of my treatment...when I'm doing alot better as far as chemical sensitivity, detox, candida, etc. Antibiotics will worsen my condition at this stage....so we dont even discuss that yet. I might not ever need them....hopefully that turns out to be the case...will have to wait and see.

So thats all to catch you up on my treatment, Dr.'s, etc.

This is where I'm at right now. :)

Thanks for the update, it is good to know what you are doing.

And great news about the appointment with Dr.Amy, I had my suspicions that it was going to work out. :)

That is a great article Bev, it was one of the first ones I encountered and gave me all sorts of material to work with.

....... That's all I said. And Brad says, I just received about $1000 worth of oil paints (from his wife's father), that I"ll never use.......

and he's giving almost all of it to me.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

And also, I just ran into a little bit of money......which has allowed me to walk out of my job.

And then found my way back to Rachelville (I promise I"ll keep my silliness to a minimum!)...just have to remember these things and how God DOES answer prayer and DOES provide, when I start to go into spiral panic mode.

:)

.....

That is wonderful news, I think we need a Rachelville Art Gallery. I would love to see your work, <_< this may mean a trip to Daily Strength.

Rinne...that is AWESOME!! :D

I'm really proud of you...for making it through the rough times of this past winter...coming back here with a renewed strength and an invention on top of it!! WAY COOL. B)

I'm very impressed with all you're accomplishing...new flavors of Rinne Bars...a whole gluten-free line. :o

....

Thanks Rachel, my ambitions are endless for gluten free food. We are off to see another building today, looking for my kitchen. :)

Dear Judy and Carla,

I could definitely understand why that tornado in Xenia scared you! It was truly a monster! I doubt most people have ssen anything like it. I suppose due to our many close calls, it is sort of like we do not mind them. The only thing I hate about the severe weather is if the power goes out! I cannot live without air-conditioning! I get sick from the heat! I do not give a crap if the roof blows off, as long as I have the air-conditioning!

Dear Judy,

I am sorry your tests were not showing what you hoped. The good news is, there still could be positive bands, as Carla said. An LLMD would be able to recognize them. You do not want a doctor that goes by the CDC approach. The two-tier approach is no good.

Dear Carla,

That is unbelievable about that house of yours getting hit with lightening! :o It is not exactly surprising the house you could not sell did not get flattened! Why do natural disasters always destroy the wrong things? :P I suppose that is where Murphy's Law comes in. You know how that goes!

Dear Donna,

Maybe you will feel like painting your toes today! I hope so! It really does sound like your job is making you sick. Worrying about the D all the time has to be difficult. I am that way, too. My stomach issues dictate way too much! It would be nice not to have to worry about that.

Dear Mia,

I am so sorry you are so sick. :( I can definitely relate. Diflucan is hard on your system. I cannot take it. My mother could not tolerate it, either. Hopefully, you will feel better soon!

Dear Patti,

I am so sorry your rash is still bothering you. I think what I have is DH. It appeared to be acne, but now it seems to be something other than that. It is under my jawline on my neck, too. It burns and itches. Some of them hurt.

Dear Rachel,

That is such wonderful news! We witches use positive energy all the time to cast spells! It really does work! This is so great you got in! Now you will get to see Dr. Amy! :)

Yep, now I need to change my signature again! I need to add "Official Holiday Enactor." ;) Founder's Day is here! We have a Lyme green float in the shape of a tick for the parade today! We also have Rinne Bars all over the place! They are the official Founder's Day treat! ;)

Dear Rinne,

That letter is exactly what I would write! Well, minus the profanity. I am so angry at all of those incompetent baffoons, I think I have invented new curse words since first thinking of it!:lol: I would love to write my own little commentary about the doctor like they do about us. "Doctor was extraordinarily stupid, and appeared to have the I.Q. of less than a legume. Had a disappointing vocabulary, as well as having a preoccupation with his golf swing.":P

Dear Susie,

It is wonderful your cousins are so generous! I am glad they are supportive of finding you wellness. Let us know how the new Psychiatrist works out. I saw one before, but he did nothing for me. I am not bipolar, though. I do not think he cared one way or another. He sat on his butt and just stared at me mostly. He was weird!

I think that there is an unfair stigma that goes along with Bipolar Disorder. I did research on it before, and found that it is basically a chemical imbalance in the brain. Instead of a lack of serotonin like the doctors at I.U. said I had, Bipolar Disorder is the opposite. It actually is an excessive amount of serotonin in the brain. It really is all about chemistry.

Dear Laura,

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU AND ERIC! :D Do you guys have anything special planned? A romantic getaway, perhaps? That would be nice! You sure are a beautiful couple!

Sincerely,

Jin

I'm driving through South Dakota on what proved to be the road trip from hell, it precipitated my first real crash with seven months of deep bone hip pain following it anyways it is raining and I've discovered that my windshield is pitted and I am having a hard time seeing, did I mention I was driving to New Mexico? It starts to get windy, really windy and I remember that I am in Tornado Alley but I reassure myself that it is NOT the season for tornadoes, I swear five minutes later they announced on the radio a tornado watch in about 15 counties but did I know what county I was in? NO

 My little experience, I can hardly believe what some of you have gone through.

SO PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE WITH ME FRIENDS...........I'M IN A SLOWER DRIVING LANE OF THE HEALTH FREEWAY THAN YOU GUYS.

Judy,

Hey girl....you're in the driver seat...you can go at your own pace. ;)

We're all gonna get to where we need to be....its not a race...take your time and do what feels right for you. :)

I'll just be sure not to get behind you on the freeway. :P I'm no "Sunday driver"...thats for sure!

I'm sorry about that darned lymph leg coming back. :( Hope it doesnt stick around too long. Was it antibiotics that caused it last time too??

I really think your issues are from unresolved lyme or co-infections that weren't dealt with prior to this.

I really think so too...but I will be quiet.

The lab tests are bunk...I've never read anything different....its unfortunate the Dr. didnt go with Igenix.

RACHEL SUCH GOOD NEWS ABOUT THE APT................YEAH

GOOD BIRTHDAY PRESENT..........THE BEST!

Yeah....I'm really grateful for Scott taking the time to make sure I could get in. A great birthday present indeed! :D

Yup....I can totally relate. Before I changed my diet and detoxed some...I was totally unable to read. I would not have been able to participate on this board. I pretty much just vegged out all day...and like Susan....I watched alot of reailty shows on TV...stuff with no real substance.

I would attempt reading but would just find myself zoning out...holding the book and still on the first page. I would realize that more than an hour had passed and I've read and re-read the same paragraph...but no memory of what the content was.

I used to read alot of mystery (like James Patterson) or true story crime books...me and my ex would go through the books like crazy. I would always have a book with me. I would read on my breaks at work. Its weird to me that I dont read books anymore.

I cant seem to focus on these books at all anymore. I can read the scientficness online and I can absorb it....but my mind wanders within seconds when I try to read for fun. :(

I used to get lost when driving...I was getting disoriented and confused really easy. I couldnt talk to a passenger in the car and also rememeber where I was driving.

It was either one or the other...all of my focus had to be on the conversation in order to be a part of the conversation (which was sometimes difficult on its own) or all my attention needed to be on the driving to remember where I was going (which was also difficult on its own).

I would get that same glassy look in my eyes. Also...I cannot follow if someone is reading to me....you'd think it would be easier...but for some reason its just not. I might hear it but its not sinking in at all.

I'm much better now with alot of this stuff....I never get lost or forget where I'm going anymore. I can obviously retain alot of what I read. It was VERY scary to me during that time when I was totally unable to read...I knew something had to be really wrong. :(

Its definately got everything to do with toxins... when I started detoxing I recovered alot of the brain I had lost for those first 2 years....I also popped right out of a very deep and scary depression.

I would love to write my own little commentary about the doctor like they do about us. "Doctor was extraordinarily stupid, and appeared to have the I.Q. of less than a legume. Had a disappointing vocabulary, as well as having a preoccupation with his golf swing.":P

:lol::lol:

Thats too funny....Ummm yeah...."Dr. was extraordinarily stupid"....I could start most of my commentary's out with those words.

Seriously though....once I started learning stuff for myself...I realized how moronic the Dr.'s were. Thats when I got REALLY scared and REALLY depressed. I thought "What if there are NO smart Dr.'s....who is going to help me??"

Susan...I hope your appt. on the 4th is a good one. I'm happy that you're getting some help with this. :)

What is the appt. line-up?? Seems like alot of appt's are coming up this month. I know I have at least 3 coming up.

Test results came back for everything that was tested now. Cholesterol is off the charts high. Not sure if that’s related to celiac, I have no idea how it could be so high. Also tested positive for H pylori  infection… is there a link to celiac and H pylori? Or am I just experiencing symptoms of the H pylori infection?

I’m reading that some sites list a high Immunoglobulin A result for my age above 300, another site says above 356, and other sites are saying above 400. I don’t know what to make of this result 🤷‍♂️

You got some bum steers my friend. I have little confidence that you can trust your test results as differentiating between NCGS and celiac disease. And I think you would be much more likely to have gotten that note you need if you had been diagnosed with celiac disease. But believe me, I understand the predicament you are in with regard to the risks of repeating the gluten challenge. We have heard this story many times on this forum. People experiment with the gluten free diet before getting an official diagnosis and then cannot tolerate the gluten challenge later on when they seek an official diagnosis.
    • Jason Hi
For the upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, they said 7 days of gluten. So I did 8...fast food and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. For the earlier blood test, the younger doctor said I didn't have to. My immune system went down, I was in the bathroom a lot, and as my wife said my brain wasn't braining.

Thanks guys. I just got my results but I don’t know what they mean…  celiac disease reflex panel Immunoglobulin A  normal range 66-433  my results are a score of 358. Is this normal? I have no idea what to make of it…
