I dont know what to do. I have no appetite, still constipated after senna tea, milk of magnesia and peppermint tea. Head pressure tasting everything I eat . I can feel all my food move inside my intestines. I can't do this anymore everyone. I don't know what to do. I am scared and I don't want to eat no more. To much abdominal pain.

Does anyone know what I can take to make my intestines somewhat better right now?

Rachel is charcoal a chelating agent or garlic? I don't want to chelate right now. It is making me so sick. I don't even want to go to the dentist tomorrow! I feel so depressed just want to cry and give up. Rachel is the whey protein a chelator also. I wonder if this could help my gut some.

Lisa....you *may* have to stick to water and not the tea or anything else. This was the case for me.

I had to get out of the mindframe of thinking that everything which was "suppossed" to be good....or that was "recommended" for healing...was what I should be doing.

You really have to pay close attention to your body and give it what it wants. Even if for alot of people those teas would be helpful....it may not be the case for you.

The only way I got myself better and gained alot of weight back was to stop doing what was "suppossed" to help me. I stopped taking alot of things I thought I should be taking....like digestive enzymes, probiotics and other supplements and I got ALOT better.

You're body might not be able to handle some of the stuff you're putting into it. I know peppermint tea would absolutely kill me...I never tried the Senna tea but I'm sure it would not have a good effect on me.

I would only drink water....not take alot of different supplements....use warm water enemas to clean bowels and keep a journal of everything I'm eating, any supplements...and all symptoms I'm feeling each day, after meals, etc.

Also it would help your digestive system to eat only very small meals several times a day instead of eating alot at one time. Another thing that could help alot is thoroughly chewing your food....like its almost liquid. Those things will help your digestion and maybe lessen the abdominal pain.

Those were some of the things I did to get myself in a better place. When I was trying all the stuff that was recommended for constipation....or killing yeast....or to heal leaky gut....or to establish healthy flora, etc....I was really sick.

When I stopped putting all those things into my body I felt a whole lot better.

Then I added only one thing at a time to get a better idea of how my body was really reacting to these things.....and which ones were making me sick. I found that most everything I'd been doing was bad for me at that time and was making me feel worse and making me lose more weight.

Right now you might want to take some stress off your body and just let it deal with the mercury. Take the things that will help with the mercury detox but skip the teas and other things for now. If you're body doesnt like something in it....it may constipate you even more....rather than having the desired effect.

You're body is really toxic right now and its not gonna tolerate most of the things that other people can take. It took me awhile to figure that out but when I finally took alot of stress off my body I felt alot better, I stopped having alot of digestive problems that I used to have and I gained some weight.

You still have fillings in so your body is dealing with ALOT right now.....just let it kind of rest and dont expect it to tolerate alot of things right now. Eventually things will improve....its just gonna take some time.

Charcoal is not a chelating agent.....its used to absorb toxins in your gut (like a sponge) and then you need to have bowel movements to remove those toxins from your body.

Whey protein wont chelate. It has essential amino acids to help detox. It also strengthens your immune system...helps your body fight off infections, etc.

Garlic can chelate some mercury....its good if you can tolerate it....but if you cant...definately avoid it.

Cilantro can chelate mercury....I would totally avoid it right now.

Dont give up....you're gonna get through this.

Talk to the dentist tomorrow....tell him how you're feeling....tell him how sick you're feeling after the removals....communicate with him all your concerns and all of your symptoms.

Ask him if you need more time in between removals....maybe he is doing them too close together and your body cant catch up?? You dont want to overwhelm your body....I would talk to him about all this stuff....see what he says.

I've been sick for three years, and I'm almost scared to get my hopes up....but I'm hopeful for the first time in a long time. And that makes me happy :)

Julie...I'm hopeful for you too. :)

I'm glad you found someone who may be able to help you and get you on the right track...and hopefully feeling better soon. :)

I've heard this term a couple of times--ART. I'm curious--what is it?

ART = Autonomic Response Testing

I have to say its my most favorite method of testing out of everything I've done so far. Its reliability does depend greatly on the skills of the practitioner (I love mine) but if done right its a very reliable and accurate form of advanced Kinesiology. It was developed by Dr. Klinghardt.

Its very hard to explain how ART works...it just does.

I plan on using ART throughout my entire treatment...all the way to the end. I think its probably the best tool available to me.

The testing has been able to pinpoint my problems (along with traditional testing). Not only has it identified the issues I'm dealing with...but also prioritized them. I know which problems are having the biggest impact on my health. The testing also lets the Dr. know which treatments will work best for me.

Everyone responds differently to treatment so there is no single protocol for everyone. ART pretty much lets us know which treatment options arent gonna help my situation and which ones are gonna really do me some good. I'll continue to use ART to guide me back to wellness. :)

Besides having the desire to restore my health I'm also fascinated with learning and I've really been impressed with the accuracy in the results from my ART sessions.

Heres some info. on ART...

Autonomic Response Testing is often effective when other conventional and alternative treatments fail and is effective for most chronic and acute illnesses. These include but are not limited to allergies, chronic pain, chronic infections, immune problems, depression, anxiety, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, pre-menstrual syndrome, menopause problems, cancer, diabetes, seizure disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, closed head injuries, sinusitis, digestive problems and many others.

Most of the doctors using Autonomic Response Testing are Naturopathic physicians, Medical Doctors, Doctors of Orthopedics, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, or Dentists. ART is not taught in any of the medical schools but through a series of classes from the American Academy of Neural Therapy or the American Academy of Neural Kinesiology.

Oh...in case you couldnt tell...I totally love ART. :P

Hi Alison--Glad you're venturing back into the thread! :)

Hi Donna--No weaseling out :P I know you're going to blow everyone away with your solo. How I wish we could all be there in the first row to hear you!

Hi Julie--I hope your new suppliments settle well for you--and most importantly, begin to help :) I look forward to hearing all about how you do with this.

Hi Judy :D

Hope everyone is having good day so far.

NoGluGirl Contributor

Dear Carla,

That is so funny about you and Adam! It is a lot like finding your Mr. Darcy! It is so amazing how destiny is playing a role in everything. According to numerology, or birthdates and names all decide our fate. I find it very fascinating.

We will all be anxious to hear about Chloe's test! Have you heard anything from the other tests the LLMD ran? I know you said many of the others came back negative. Bloodwork can be so puzzling! I had some done last week, and it all came back normal. My Thyroid tissue in my neck always swells up when it is hyper, so how could it be normal? WTH?

Dear Donna,

I have terrible stage fright, too. I love to sing and dance, but if I do it at a scheduled time, I get nearly sick I become so nervous. However, Carla had mentioned a remedy before that is all natural. I have it in my files, but cannot remember what I saved it as exactly. I will post it for you as soon as I find it! :)

I hope you get to see Dr. Amy as well! I bet she could really help you, too. This doctor really sounds terrific. Maybe the receptionist will receive your message from the other day. Then the ball can get rolling!

Dear Rachel,

I totally relate to what you and tom were talking about. Making plans is nearly impossible with an illness like this. You never know how good or bad you are going to feel. It can change in a second. Most people do not understand.

That is encouraging news about the B-12 shots! :) I am so glad that things are getting going now! Once those pathways are open, I am sure the Mercury and Candida will not have a chance! Then you could finally chelate. The results Dr. Amy has had with other patients sound like this will be the thing that gets you well!

Dear Rinne,

I am glad you appreciated my scatological warfare segment! I need to do a Rachelville update on the Auxigro lawsuit. You remember that they poisoned our Militant Geese, and now we have to have Redneck Deer testify against them.

Buck, my leader, is testifying against them. I keep having to explain to my favorite purple glittery bat that it is against the law for him to be in the courthouse. Glittery pink berry-scented bat poo is not allowed!

I am glad you got to hear the last two songs. The first one is great as well. I am familiar with the Moody Blues. It has been quite some time since I have heard their music. They radio stations do not always play it anymore. You have to go on one of the oldies stations.

Turmoil is good to avoid whenever possible. It is bad for your health. I get sick from negative energy. Take my parents, for instance. Right now, I am more worried about catching a bug my mother might have.

This stomach virus is what our dog seemed to have. I am scared to death of stomach flus. I take forever to get over them. I would probably never catch anything if I was not living here! They always manage to get me sick! Of course, if it is the gluten, she would NEVER admit it!

Dear Alison,

It is so nice to see you again! We missed you so much! :( Welcome back to Rachelville! Today is now a holiday. I am the official holiday enactor as well now. Since I am the D.A. Rachel thought it would be a good idea. Today is Alison is back day! ;)

Your poor friend! That Podiatrist really is a moron. Doctors are just out of it anymore. They think pills fix everything. Hopefully, no irreversible damage has been done.

Dear Julie,

Your appointment sounded very productive. I have heard for acid reflux that you actually need to take hydrochloric acid pills. I have been on Prilosec forever. I know I probably have Leaky-Gut as well. Some days I can eat something, and then it will make me terribly ill the next.

I too, have been sick for many years. It is so difficult to get through a day sometimes. At least we have each other. We can talk to each other, because we understand. When you talk to family, a lot of times they shrug it off or make it sound like you are just lazy and not really ill. They would kill themselves if they had to suffer as much as we have on a daily basis.

Dear tom,

Making plans does seem impossible with this situation. An illness like Celiac can take its toll so quickly. Sometimes, the nausea would just hit out of nowhere. The fear of becoming sick in public was not unfounded. It is often better safe than sorry. People who do not have health issues do not understand at all!

Dear Susie,

Those beaches sure sound inviting! They are always so beautiful. My best friend went to Hawaii for vacation two or three years ago. It was a lot of fun, and she brought me back some nice things. One of them was a pearl necklace. You get to open your own oyster!

Now, this is a bit messy, but fun! My pearl was white. That means wisdom. If you got a pink pearl, that meant love was coming your way. It fits in a silver necklace piece. She also brought me an itty bitty beach in a bag (it is so cute!) and a lei of flowers. :) I got to see her scrapbook later. Did you know they even make little paper sandals for that? Who knew?

Dear Bev,

Beaches and spas both sound good to me, too! I have never been to a spa, but would not mind visiting one. God knows I need the stress relief! Don't we all? After that herx, you probably could use a vacation! How are you doing today?

Dear Lisa,

I am so sorry to hear your stomach is hurting so much still. Constipation is something I used to have a ton of trouble with when I was young. I actually had two enemas when I was 3 years old due to it. I had been constipated for two weeks straight. It is dangerous to be constipated for so long. Did you know you can die if you are constipated for three or four weeks?

I cannot believe you still could not go after all of those herbal teas! The coffee enemas might stimulate cramping, so I could see why your doctor would not want you doing those. Rachel probably had the best suggestion. Water enemas seem to be your best bet. I wonder if you have a blockage in there. My cousin had one of those.

Make sure you update us on your mercury situation. We are anxious to hear from you, since you are feeling so ill. We are very concerned. After you get those amalgams out, you should start to feel better. Thank you for mentioning methionine. I wondered if there was anything to prevent mercury from going to the brain.

Dear Andrea,

E. Coli seems to be in everything now! It used to just be meat, and now it seems to be in everything! First it was spinach, then peanut butter, and now tahini and/or sunflower seed butter? AAAACCCKKKK! Nothing is safe anymore! They just had another beef recall that I need to check my meat for!

Dear Judy,

I see your PM. I will answer sometime this morning! I need to e-mail you. I did not get to reply to your message yesterday. I will tell Alison you send your best!

Dear Jenny,

Where are you? Was it death by bananas? Are you okay? We all are worried. Like tom said, it has been 100 bananas ago since we heard from you!

Dear Patti,

I will be sure to tell Alison thank you from you! If she had not mentioned those generic meds, you could still have that nasty rash! Thank goodness it is finally getting better. Those things can drive you crazy! I get those weird rashes that pop up out of nowhere, then go away.

Dear Grump,

I hope that they can find another med for you that helps. That one sounds like trouble! You just never know abotu the generics. You have be to cautious. When in doubt, call the manufacturer. Your pharmacist can give you the number.

Dear Laura,

We hope your results come in soon. It is difficult not to be anxious when you are waiting. I was worried about my bloodwork. It seems I am not anemic, though. However, the Thyroid levels were said to be normal, but I am having all of the symptoms of a hyper one.

Sincerely,

NoGluGirl

Good morning Patti, Miamia (and everyone else) :)

Carla.....glad Chloe survived the 6 hour urine test. :P

I think urine tests will forever remind me of the "orange jug incident".

I'm anxious to see how all her testing comes back....Igenix results should be coming soon??

BTW....you are still invisisble!!! WTH! :(

Jin...thanks for the update on the Auxigro lawsuit.

The results Dr. Amy has had with other patients sound like this will be the thing that gets you well!

I'm hopeful about the B12 but I dont think its gonna be only one thing to get me well. Its gonna be more work than that but if B12 can at least get some things to start working more efficiently it may make a big difference. I would be happy with even small improvements as far as releasing some of this toxic burden. :)

Thanks for all your positive thoughts!! :D

Hopefully I can report back some good results. ;)

Yes, it is, though I'd rather be KILLING BUGS! ;)

Tom....I could totally relate to your comment regarding making plans.

Me, too. I always answer that I'll be there if I can.

I dont know what to do. I have no appetite, still constipated

I know you can't tolerate coffee enemas, but warm water enemas just get things moving, nothing more. I'd do one.

I'm anxious to see how all her testing comes back....Igenix results should be coming soon??

Soon. Should be this week.

Hold me, I'm scared! :P I got a check from my insurance company yesterday for $267. I thought it was a mistake at first, but went through all my paperwork and indeed, it was for one of the first claims I submitted when I started seeing the HN doctors from NOVEMBER!!!!

Okay, so I guess I'd just written off that money and forgot about it cuz I had to resubmit it two times after they rejected it the first time (lack of diagnostic codes, which were clearly printed on the receipt--stupid insurance co). So, it was fun to actually get it in the mail yesterday.

Here's the scarey part, lol. They sent me an interest check! Now, I got one of those before but it was for 36 cents! This one was for nearly $11!! Freaky!

OMGosh, that fudge recipe sounds great! :P

Julie - I see that Rachel answered you about ART...I tend to agree with everything she said about it. I am quite amazed with the whole thing, and if you saw a session in person you'd wonder about our sanity, but it really is accurate. Can't explain how it works though!

Hi Donna--No weaseling out :P I know you're going to blow everyone away with your solo. How I wish we could all be there in the first row to hear you!

Well, now that would be fun! Having so many people in the front row who have overcome so much would definitely be an inspiration to overcome my stage fright. :P

....

I feel great. Not 100%, that's for sure, but right now I only have the Lyme symptoms, no die-off symptoms and no abx side effects.

I have no babs symptoms this time off the meds, so it's looking like the babs may be gone. It can be treated in as little as 4 months, and I've been treating it for 5. I'll be switching from Mepron to Malarone, soon. Malarone is weaker, so it will still work on the babs if any is left, but not have as many side effects.

Chloe was very excited when her six hours were up for her urine test. :D

That's wonderful news Carla and I look forward to Chloe's results. :)

Rachel - sent the article in one email as a Word doc, and in a separate email with just the text in the email...let me know if you don't get them, cuz that means I sent it to someone else.:P

Thanks, Patti--I hope the products settle well, too. I have a big fear of feeling and being sick, so I get very nervous when I try something new.

Hi, Rachel and Donna--Thanks for the information on ART. I'll have to check out those links. I'm definitely intrigued...

Hi, Jin--You know, I've often said that, too. If some of my family members had to deal with what I go through on a daily basis, I don't think they could do it. Unless you've ever been chronically ill, people just don't seem to "get" it. But, I have a few people in my life who are very supportive, and that helps. My boyfriend has been very patient through this whole three year journey, and that helps a lot, but it even took him awhile to get how serious it all was. Now, he's great with everything, though, and drove me for the 4 hour trip yesterday.

Hi, Carla--Congrats! It's wonderful to hear someone say that they feel great. I hope you're on to 100% very soon.

NoGluGirl Contributor

Dear Rachel,

You are welcome for the Auxigro Lawsuit update! ;) The trial is soon. It will be next Tuesday. I hope Bongo (my favorite purple glittery bat) chills out by then. We will see! Maybe I could bribe him with some fruit.

I agree that the B12 probably will not restore you completely on its own. Integrative therapy really is the best kind. Unfortunately, many people are so jaded by the medical community. They have no idea what options are out there for wellness. There is a promising future ahead for you! I know there is! :)

Alison said I should talk to you about my Thyroid. She said caffeine is really bad for a hyper one. The thing is, my bloodwork came back normal. That is so odd. My neck is swollen again (it is Thyroid tissue). It is like having a golfball in my neck. It is weird. Giving up caffeine will be difficult. I feel like I am going to die if I try to go without my coffee!

Decaf hates my stomach. My stomach burned like fire from it. It is very acidic. I know my adrenals could be stressed, too. Craving sugar and caffeine is part of burned out adrenals.

Dear Julie,

I get nervous about any new things, too. When your body is like ours, anything could irritate it. It is like playing Russian Roulette. You might win, but due to your past record, losing seems more likely. Hardly being able to function on a daily basis is bad enough. You just do not want to chance getting any worse.

Relatives really have no idea, do they? I am so glad you have some supportive people around you, though. That helps greatly. My parents probably have concrete bricks between their ears. If I was not stuck here, I would get out so fast they would have no idea! Your boyfriend seems great. I am so happy you found such a wonderful person!

Dear Mia,

How are you today? Was your massage yesterday or today? I know you actually have three this week if I recall correctly. That new doctor sounds really great at what he does. You get to try it out and see if you like it. That is really cool!

Dear Carla,

Stealth Spice it is! ;) I like that! It is really you! I am glad to hear you are doing better. Thank you for the fudge recipe, too! It sounds so good!

Dear Donna,

Sorry to hear about the bill! Insurance will do anything to not pay. A lot of companies will dispute even the simplest claim. Anything they can do to avoid paying, they will do it. What is more rediculous is, many claims may have been put through six months or a year prior, and then you get the bill all those months later!

Sincerely,

Jin

P.S. My new avatar is some art I did. This is Gambit from X-Men.

Hi, Carla--Congrats! It's wonderful to hear someone say that they feel great. I hope you're on to 100% very soon.

Thank you. It's wonderful to be making progress. I was 15% of normal in January, the past few days I'd say 60%. It's a big change.

I think it's important to post these changes because we keep adding to our group ... those of us who have been around for a while are making progress, and it encourages those who are new.

And where are Tom and Susie???? We NEED your humor. I have trouble believing both of you went MIA because you had something better to do than hang with us!

Thank you for the fudge recipe, too! It sounds so good!

I've always been a believer that raw food is good for you. I used raw almond butter, the chocolate is raw, too. So, it's good for you.

It was actually a bit too sweet for my taste ... plus, I'm not wild about the almond butter. The chocolate is the consistency of a coffee bean. Today I ground it in my coffee grinder and added it to my whipped cream over my berries. Morgan didn't like it ... but she has quite the sweet tooth, and it's not sweet.

I really think it's a magnesium problem for me because I don't normally crave chocolate in this manner. Now that I've found a way to use the raw beans, which are loaded with antioxidants, I may keep this addition to my diet. I think the whipped chocolate cream would be GREAT on a latte!

P.S. My new avatar is some art I did. This is Gambit from X-Men.

Very nice.

dlp252 Apprentice
Jin, is that one of your drawings??? It's wonderful!

 I'm quoting myself cuz it's a DOH moment...I see now where Jin explained what it was...don't know how I missed it. :P

NoGluGirl Contributor

Dear Andrea, Donna, and Carla,

Thank you for the compliments on my art! Sometimes these drawings take a while. It depends on the day. I do better when I work quickly. Really these drawings are better in e-mail format. This is due to the fact the details show up. Comicbook art is very detailed.

Dear Carla,

Raw food is usually much healthier! I wish I could afford it. I would be buying all organic! It would be nice. That chocolate whipped cream on a latte sounds divine! ;) I am like Morgan, I am a sugar addict. Hopefully, that will change soon. I am reducing my intake, and doing better.

I still crave chocolate as well. That is unusual for me to want it constantly. I never used to want it that bad. Lately, I feel like I need it every day. Payday is Friday. I can go get a magnesium supplement then. I really need to start taking a multivitamin, too.

Sincerely,

Jin

Almond butter--I love (a little too much :P ) Woodstock Farms. I like it better than Maranantha, and at 7.99 for a 16 oz. jar, it's more reasonable.

I really wish I could eat peanut butter

There is no established connection between type 2 diabetes and celiac disease. There is a connection with type 1, however, as about 6% of those with type 1 diabetes also have celiac disease. This rate is 6x that of the celiac rate found in the general population. https://celiac.org/about-celiac-disease/related-conditions/diabetes-and-celiac-disease/

Here is a link to the skin version, and the only ingredients are "chicken": https://www.perduefarms.com/en-US/perdue-bone-in-chicken-thighs-pack/60625.html There should also be ingredients and any allergens listed there on the package.
    • trents
Welcome to the forum, @BeeBarnard! I really can't imagine how either skin or skinless chicken thighs could not be gluten free unless one or the other were treated with some seasoning ingredient that was not gluten free. Do the product labels indicate any additional ingredients added to the meat? Is your daughter a super sensitive celiac? If not, the amount of gluten cross contamination found in seasonings is usually inconsequential.

HI, My daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac and I would like to make her some chicken soup (she's got he flu). I found all gluten free ingredients but I'm having trouble with the chicken. I purchased Purdue bone-in chicken thighs from BJ's Wholesale Club. Purdue says that they are gluten free but the BJ's website says no. It seems like skin-on chicken is not, but skinless is. Does this seem accurate? Thank you
