You are not suppose to take the castor oil pack everynight right?

I wouldnt start out doing them every night. Just do 2 or 3 a week and see how you feel. If you can tolerate them....I would think you can then start doing them more frequently. Ease yourself into it...dont start doing too much of anything all at once.

I feel like I have just too many for my weak state to take them all out. I had one done two years ago but I wasn't really sick. That's when I got some undigested food in my stool but not to noticible. I Thought it was because of my drinking. I was an alchohalic and just thought beer was affecting my system. I think they need to pull the rest of my teeth you think?

I just can't take no more removals. Will I continue to get real sick with the rest of these teeth in my mouth because I feel sicker and sicker everyday> :(

I wish they would either pull them out or shot me. What should I do in the meantime?

Mornin' everyone,

But it's still night now. Trying to sleep isn't working. Actually it's been a little off for a few days, which is uncommon for me for . . . .hmm.. . . .3-4yrs even I guess.

Pretty used to 7 hrs, but a couple times this week couldn't get to sleep then wake up way earlier than I'm used to. It's almost 2am now yet I only slept little more than 3 hrs last night. Same thing a few days ago. Had a great Monday (somehow) on only 4 hrs sleep.

Anyone have this waking up WAY earler than you'd like after not falling asleep forever too?

You'd think it'd be easy to sleep in.

Well, maybe I'll have no problem sleeping in tomorrow.

Gah! Barely making sentences. Or very very slowly anyway.

tabasco32 Apprentice

Yeah I'm still awake too. I'm too afraid to sleep thinking about this whole sickness thing and just wanting to get better and not worse.

Rachel

I was wondering if I was suppose to take any supplements or anything my naturopath was suppose to do for me before that first dentist appoinment. I feel like I ruined my body forever now. I wasn't taking minerals or vitamins, nothing. I will keep up with the whey protein to help rebuild some cells I guess. The only thing is that It bloats me up. This is like a double edged sword. Your damned if you do, and your damned if you dont.

ok-

So it has been long week for alot of reasons. I had a hard time i think my body is still trying to (and not very succesfully) recover from the hormones and diflucan. I'll start off with the positive though I went to my 3 sessions with this new guy, the physical therapist. He is fascinating!!! He really does combine so many different methods and is so intune with the body and what it needs. I really like him. He spoke to my doctor and we all agree it is sowrth me continuing with him for ahile. He acknowledges what a hard case I am though but he does think he can help me and I think he can to.

Part of this week that was so bad was the bathroom I had alot of trouble mostly C issues and I noticed some disturbing stuff in my stool the other day which I reported to my doc. He thinks becasue of that it might be good idea to see this gastro doc (I hate gastros though). I am alittle hesitant becasue I really want to see this other guy first the one who deals with metals and lyme. I am not sure what to do. I was supposed to call the gastro yesturday but I decided to put it off until Monday so i have alittle time to think about it.

Rachel-

good on going slow with the Oxy powder and good for you for staying away formt he natural calm which in my opinion is anythign but calming!!!

Lisa-

I think you should stop taking anything new until you run it by a doctor or naturpath first. You seem really sensitive and All the things you are thinking about taking, while they are not prescription drugs can be very harsh.

CArla-

I love that you mentioned it was a gluten-free Donut this would make carlaing it easier!!

Ok I think along with the Rachelville chef I am the official rachelville dork/ oddball. I never racheled cookies or anything like that I am such a healthfood girl. The only things I over do now are carrot juice and a pretty healthy soy ice cream. The things I miss are all nutritious pretty much. I have never had much of a sweet tooth though. Salty food is what i crave - I am MRS. SALT!!!

oh yes i do occaionally over do peanut butter ( but only considering it is a major no no) and now tha ti have introduced almond butter- well this is very hard not to want to rachel. I asked my father if he thought when i was better I sould be able to eat jars of almond butter in one sitting- he was like "would you really want to do that?"

Miamia, I love almond butter too, I think I rachelled half a cup yesterday, I don't do that everyday but it is part of keeping myself off the 'bars'.

Peanut butter doesn't taste good to me anymore which is good because it really doesn't agree with me either.

And call me Mrs. Salt too.

In fact I am off to take my daily half teaspoon once I've posted this.

Have you tried the Himalayan salt?

My little garden is blooming with honeysuckle, lilacs, bleeding hearts and pansies. It is one of those perfect early summer mornings and despite my almond butter escapade I am feeling pretty good.

Susan I hope the pills worked, your back has eased and you are feeling better today.

Morning everyone. :)

I think I may be finally understanding the difference between a flare and a herx...I think I'm going through a flare. Over the last week a couple of my symptoms have been slowly steadily getting worse. The disconnected feeling in my brain and the skin burning. Yesterday and today being the worst...this morning the water from the shower hitting my skin was torture. It started getting bad yesterday when my hair touching my next was causing much pain. Uggg! I don't think this is a herx cuz these symptoms don't seem herxish and it seems to me herxes might come on a little quicker.

Oh and Tom...uh YEAH, I definitely understand about the sleep issue!!! I am the QUEEN of insomnia, lol.

And, NO, NO, NO, there is NO auxigrow in Rachelville!!! I am the head of security and ain't none of that stuff getting past me....Rachelville is an ant, tick and auxigrow free zone (oh and gluten free as well). No one in their right mind would try to get past me with any of that stuff!

Oh, and can someone explain to me how anyone thinks there is more than two bites to a donut anyway. How is that possible?

RACHELVILLE AUXIGRO TRIAL

Very funny, but see my comment above.

No, he gets no vote either. You guys are here for our entertainment.

Umm, I believe it took me three weeks to eat that donut. The next week I split the remainder in half .... it was a gluten-free donut btw.

:o

I dont know whether or not oil of oregano will be helpful to you. You react to alot of things so I cant even begin to guess as to what you'll feel like taking oil of oregano. I know that for me it didnt help but made things worse. I dont really do well with alot of herbal supplements.

Yep, oil of oregano was not a good thing for me either! :(

Aw Mia, I just wish all this stuff would go away! I like the sound of your PT guy!!! I don't know what you should do first, but as I was looking at everyone's lyme results (still need to find Rinne's original post, lol) yours was shocking to me...I guess I don't remember it having so many positive bands. A good LLMD will also do some of this other stuff and mine at least is also interested in all the other practitioners I'm seeing.

I asked my father if he thought when i was better I sould be able to eat jars of almond butter in one sitting- he was like "would you really want to do that?"

Silly father! He doesn't know us very well does he. :P:lol:

Mark 5:41 from the bible......talitha cumi. It means little girl (Talitha) arise (cumi). It was when Jesus brought Jairus's daughter back to life.

I had wondered about that, too. Such a beautiful name--for a beautiful girl :)

I asked my father if he thought when i was better I sould be able to eat jars of almond butter in one sitting- he was like "would you really want to do that?"

I could! :P I'm positively addicted to the stuff.

Butting in here (excuse me Miamia)--I love the Himalayan salt! I've been using it for a couple weeks now.

Your description of a flare sounds right, it fits what happened to me last winter although my symptoms were a little different. This was before I was doing anything to address the Lyme.

I posted my results in November and I did go looking for them  and got lost. I know they are somewhere in my house but with the current upheaval, where? I thought Andrea posted them. If you would still like them let me know and I will find them in my mess, anything is better than going back.:lol::lol:

Patti, I am surprised my garden is so lovely given that I have neglected it this year. :( It has been hot here and the sun is too much for me even early in the day.

I can't have the gluten free donuts either. :(

Glad you are liking the salt, I really feel it fills a nutritional need that we are lacking, at least for those of us who crave salt. :)

I have also noticed quite a few viewers, I was wondering if they have gotten lost trying to catch up with us.

We welcome newcomers, as Andrea so brilliantly said.....dang I dingo'd it, Andrea help :o:lol: okay something like we are not a clique we are a growing community.

I liked that so much Andrea. I hear you on the garden--I can't take the heat at all anymore. I have a pretty perienneal garden that luckily dosen't need very much work.

I find I use much less of this salt--and I really taste the cleaner flavor. I have high blood pressure (controlled), so I think this is a much better way for me to go.

Heres some info about the machine they used to determine the correct sequence to remove the fillings..

That is interesting Rachel. I had four crowns done a little over 2 years ago......no safety precautions, all had been amalgam (don't know if any are still underneath or not). I still have 7 to go, plus pulling the root canal.

Dear Andrea,

I hope my story can be published as well! I have to make sure to copywrite it first. I am nervous about sending things to Marvel. The submission form pretty much states that they will steal your ideas. It says that any future characters or storylines that resemble yours are purely coincidental and Marvel is not legally responsible for this. Oh yeah, I was just dropped on this planet yesterday and am gonna send in my work for them to make Millions from it while I just get screwed! I don't think so! B)

just to add to what carla wrote... that's standard practice for companies in the entertainment industry... and understandably so even though it makes things more difficult for people trying to break through and get their ideas heard... if they didn't have this in place, they would be subject to getting sued on anything someone sent them that even remotely resembled something they had in-house in development...

I was trying to get into the video game industry about four years ago when I got out of college... I created a video game and wrote up a detailed design document... but in the video game industry, anything sent to a company without a signed form essentially relinquishing copyrights will get thrown straight in the trash without being opened...

there are ways to get around this though... the basic gist is to just send in something that you have no attachment to and still showcases your creativity, etc... in my case, I was going to rent a video game from a company, play it for a week or so and then write up a couple pages on how I think the game could be improved... do this with 20 companies or so and naturally I would have no real attachment to any of these ideas as I was just expounding on the companies' creations so if they implemented any of my ideas without contacting me, no big deal.. if anything, it would just show me I was on the right track... unfortunately, I'm still waiting to get healthy to do this

I actually interviewed at Rockstar (the company that makes grand theft auto) a few years ago.. but that was just from my resume... my other plan for getting my foot in the door in the video game industry was to get my novel published and then approach a company with a background in 2 fronts (published novel showcasing my creativity/writing and my engineering degree representing my technical skills)... but my novel's been stuck at just under 40,000 words for a while... one day I'll manage to get my brain back B)

in your case, you could consider something like writing up a spin-off storyline for existing comics from companies like Marvel... and then if they take your idea, no big deal as you couldn't have used it for anything anyway since it's their characters and whatnot... the goal in this case is to just showcase your skill set and creativity to get a company potentially interested in you... and just keep your own story on the shelf in the meantime until you are in a position to present it without fear of having it stolen...

Jin, is there any possibility you can publish it yourself? Desktop Publishing, or something like that?

Hey, maybe you an do one where you tie the story line to gluten, and Scott can sell copies on celiac.com!

I dont consider my body to be ruined forever. We can get better...with the right Dr.'s and the right treatments we can definately be well again. :)

Once the poison is removed from your body you can start feeling healthy again. Its definately gonna take some time...you have alot of fillings still in your mouth.

I think you need to find a really good Dr. to get you through this....it wont be as scary if you know the person helping you has experience and is someone you can trust. I asked Scott if he knew of anyone in your area....he didnt know anyone of over there. You might have to travel a little to see someone good.

By the way....did you ever get an email from him last night?? I gave him your email address....he said it was the same one he'd had and the email bounced....but he was going to try it again. He didnt want you to think he'd ignored you...the email wouldnt go through. :(

He said the same thing though....that you need a good Dr. who will know how to detox the mercury from your body.

I should be able to eat jars of almond butter in one sitting- he was like "would you really want to do that?"

Hehehe couldn't help but think of last year in Alaska when 3 of the days were spent at a hotel w/ no in-room fridge, and over an hour from any store whatsoever - much less a store w/ anything useful to ME - and I survived on primarily almond butter, w/ a few rice tortillas, and some apples.

Great spot tho. Also a very popular bar & restaurant. Visited it w/ my brother Pat every time I'd been in Alaska. Last time, about 2-3 hrs into the ride, we parked the snowmachines (snowmobiles to non-alaskans) on the 6-8ft snowpack and strolled in for his favorite, thick spicy chili - sure to warm up any intrepid winter traveler.

His memorial was held there, as it was the only place big enough w/out heading all the way back to Anchorage. Still wasn't big enough.

Somewhere on the site it claims "30min from Palmer", but I know that's a crock unless Palmer annexed more land towards the Park & the 30min is just to the edge, which is still homesteaders and near-wilderness.

Well an actual night's sleep does wonders.

Hi Matt,  So sorry you're having to suffer all this.  I'm just chiming in on your dairy question because the answers are often far from what we or our doctors assume.  For example, I thought I could go back to having dairy once my intestinal villi healed.  I was fine for about 8 months.  And then I wasn't.  Started having weird issues with maintaining my balance while walking.  Even my PCP who has celiac didn't relate it to dairy.  Had to have a second endoscopy with enzyme testing.  Sure enough my pancreas no longer produces enough Lactase to process lactose.  My GI just brushed it off as, "common for people with celiac."    I'd never seen or heard that before.  I should have pressed him on it.  Common for celiacs who are women?  Common for celiacs of a certain age group?  But I was so surprised I didn't say anything.  Maybe Scott has more information on celiac and pancreatic function.  At least I'm back to walking upright!
