I'll be able to be like Tom and get online anywhere on my phone!!! Adam got me an iPhone. B)

Whooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

The comm'ls are certainly impressive!

You'll be so psyched the 1st time you're in a store and think "I should look up this product/ingredient/whatever when I get home" then realize u can do it immed!!!

Or leaving somewhere at rush hour and getting traffic/accident info real-time w/ 1 click on a bkmrk.

Or or or . . . . . . .gazillion examples! :)

I'd like to hear your opinion on the 'virtual keybd' once u get a little used to it.

I'm very wary (finding it scary) to carry a keybd w/ nary a key.

:P

Andrea

I really wish I could go. I feel I need to as this is getting worse. Maybe it was the L-Glutamine or the whey protein. I don't know what would mobilize the toxins anyway. It seems like everything moves them around.

DO you know if castor oil packs will mobilize them as well? I really don't have anymore money. I do have an appointment on july5 with Dr. Elizabeth but might need to cancel.

What should I do till then?

I'm so afraid that I have a lot of anxiety now. I can't even think right.

SO rachel are you still going to take charcoal if you can't detox the mercury? When is your laser treatment anyways?

If you go to an AT&T store, they have display models that you can thoroughly check out. I liked it a lot better than Adam's old Trio (which he hates). The keypad didn't seem that difficult, but my fingernails have gotten so long that it was kind of hard for me to use. Adam and the man in the store did not have the same problem as I did ... but I'll let you know.

Miamia, I don't know if anyone posted them ... I got a 12 on lead with a reference range of 4 being okay. I got a 4.1 on mercury with a 4 being okay.

I got my copy of the stool test today. Overgrowth of klebsiella and citrobacter. No E. Coli or Bifidobacterium, which is BAD. None at all.

I had no parasites, which is good. Very low yeast, just a 1 with 4 being bad. It is NOT candida, just yeast. I guess they didn't do a candida test.

I've been reading online about this stuff and many of my symptoms point to this problem. It seems very strange that the GI didn't pick up on this.

We are going up on the 5th! What time is your appointment. Ours is at 11:30. Please don't cancel. Will your dad take care of it? I really think she'll be able to help you.

I posted Donna and my hair analysis, but there isn't anything together for the challenges. You've got lots of responses for those already.

Dear Andrea,

Yes, food families are a strange thing! Beets and quinoa are in the same group! :o

I remember 1st seeing the lists, prob a candida book. Sooooooo strange! Wish I remembered which I thought was the funniest/strangest.

I even had half a nerve to draw a little chalk outline where she was squished, . . .

Dear tom,

Did you have a nice flight back to Phoenix? Flying can be a big pain. If you are organized, it helps. How long is a flight from Phoenix to San Jose? I have never flown, but I think I would like it better than driving.

Phx->SJ ~1:50

Flight sure started weird. I was 14D(aisle) & asked if there was a closer-to-front aisle available. Guy got me 4C and printed it up.

I get to 4C and there's a woman there and HER boarding pass stub is IDENTICAL to mine!! Weren't computers supposed to prevent this?

Plenty empty so I sat couple rows back.

Did I post about the incredible kids on the way to SJ? I brought a book, newspaper, mp3s but was too busy yappin' w/ a 14 & 15 yr old instead! The 14 yr old girl had written a book!! Her brother was quite accomplished also. Laughin & talking interesting things the whole way. The boy actually told ME things about space travel I hadn't know (or hadn't remembered - and I almost majored in astronomy!)

dlp252 Apprentice
And as u all may have inferred, my SJ trip was spectacular!

Definitely moving back. But maybe a month in Portland 1st. (Don't tell my sister yet! hehe :) )

Well, very cool!

I posted mine somewhere around the 3rd week of May...I think my appointment was the 22nd or 23rd, so it would have been the day or two after that. I'll look and repost.

I'm not surprised, my GI didn't find the HPylori or the Klebsiella either. I'm glad it's pretty good news though...why don't they test for candida? None of my doctors have tested for candida...I don't get it, lol.

and the camry is now mine. a wonderful addition to the family ;)

Congratulations on your new addition!!!

I never sit next to anyone interesting...I can meet and talk to the most interesting people in waiting rooms, but not on flights where it would be more appropriate, lol.

Oh heck, I'm just going to retype my metals report, lol...can't go back any more! This report shows everything except silver as being below the reference range, but my doctor thinks this is just because my body is not able to release it. This was hair analysis and because I dye my hair this was the unmentionable hair, lol...that is less accurate than regular hair. I think at some point he'll do a challenge, but we're not ready to chelate yet so no point in doing it yet. My total toxic representation was mentioned in the report, but there was no score attached to it...the doctor had it X'd though, but I can't remember what he said about it--it was below the 68th percentile though...have no idea what that means. More off balance were my essential elements scores.

It was actually today. I forget about it. I thought it was on the 5. They forgave me and will not charge me the absent fee. I resheduled for next wednesday at 2:30. I am crying and begging my father to take me. HE says that might be too much for him. It will be about seven hundred for the tickets and 260 to see elizabeth. Yeah about 1000 green ones. I want to go sooo bad.

I hurt more everyday.

hi y'all! Just wanted to pop in.

You know what, just cuz I wanna from now on I'm going to poop in cuz it cracks me up :lol:

OK- pooping in to say hello. I love all the new pics- the Glamour Shots are crazy!!!!!!!!!! Everyone looks DIVINE in them.

Andrea- If I dingo'd it I'm sorry but how is Seth doing?

Lisa- I'm so sorry you are getting sicker and sicker. Just make sure your doctor knows that you can't have ANYTHING with gluten right now. A bug warm hug for you!

Susie- I met a dingo at the dog park! I spotted her from a mile away...she looked so much like your girls. She was so cute. Her name was Luna and it was instant puppy love with Angus. Made me wish WE could meet at the dog park

My HERXATION HIDEOSA is ovah! Amen! I couldn't even sleep in our bed Thursday night- had to sleep on the couch. Yuck a dookie! Glad that one is over.

Oh and I lied- it was my TtG IgA that was elevated. It was a 20 in February of 2005 and is now down to a 2! That with the gene and the dietary response makes me a confirmed Silly Yak. I think the Lyme triggered it and then kept me from getting better. So all you non-Celiac but gluten intolerant- you can have my Big mac and eat it too! I'll settle for chocolate ice cream with gluten-free hot fudge and 900 Reese's pb cups!

Glad herxing is over for now. :) Adam moves from the bed for me when I'm herxing. It's the first sign a herx is coming on ... wearing earplugs helps a lot though, so maybe one day per month he ends up moving somewhere else ... before earplugs it was the whole herx.

Cool fact: the first bristled toothbrushes were made in China and arrived in Europe during the 1600s.

Whoa! Wonder what a pre-bristle tooth-uhhh-wiper? (Not BRUSH!!) was like.

So much of the history we learn in the West is overly eurocentric. Greeks like to claim the birth of civilization, but weren't the Chinese at *least* as advanced back then? Annnnnnnnd they knew enough to grow rice instead of that evil wheat  LOL!!!!!!

Andrea- If I dingo'd it I'm sorry but how is Seth doing?

You didn't dingo it, I dingo replying to it. :D

He's doing good. Doesn't look too bad. We did put some ice on it yesterday after it happened. He wasn't too thrilled with that.

Bummer about the 5th Lisa. It would have been cool if you were up there around when we were. I make all my appointments for late morning so I can get out of the area before 2. That's when traffice gets real bad and I don't relish a super long drive home. It's about 2 1/2 hours as is with no traffic problems.

I do hope you'll be able to get up here next week.

Does anybody know how to calm down the inflammation in the intestines. ANything to take?

I am crying I am in so much pain in my intestines my mom is massaging them. but they still hurt and are inflammed. MY doctor gave me black currant oil for the pain but I don't know if that will help.

You've only seen post-recovery tom.

Lisa,

This is my advice to you. I would not spend $1000 to go up there for one ART session. First of all this is an illness thats going to take some time and $$ to recover from. Spending alot of money for one session isnt gonna do a whole lot to change your situation right now.

I agree with your dad on finding a GOOD Dr. close to home. Rememeber....you need your Dad's help....spending $1000 to see one Dr. (whos not in your area) for one ART session is not what you need right now.

If your dad is going to spend the money I think it should be on getting the best Dr. to help you get through these amalgam removals.

If you had alot of money to spend I would say go ahead and get the ART so you can get a better idea of what supplements to take. This is not the case though...you dont have alot of money and you already KNOW that you're toxic from mercury. You need to get the fillings out first and you need the BEST Dr. you can find in your area...or at least in the Bay Area.

I think ART will be alot more beneficial once the removals are done and you can focus on getting yourself detoxed. Right now you're so toxic and STILL getting mercury from the fillings....things are gonna constantly change in your body especially while you're still in this situation and still getting exposure from the amalgams.

Even if you fly to Washington and get tested for some supplements and you test fine for them today...it doesnt mean that 3 days from now you wont develop a problem with them. Its not gonna put you in a different situation than what you're in right now. In my opinion its not worth it to spend that much money right now.

The best thing to come out of it will be that you'll be able to find out what other issues you have....like Lyme...or other infections. I think you can do all of this with ART later on...after the fillings are out. Even if you find out a bunch of stuff...the priority is still the same...get the fillings out first. No matter what else might show up...nothing is going to take precedence over getting the amalgams removed.

Thats my opinion. Do ART after you've gotten your fillings removed...right now have your dad help you find the best Dr. you can get in this area....thats what you need more than anything right now. An experienced Dr. who's dealt with patients who are highly toxic....and highly sensitive.

I promise you that if you can be strong and get yourself through this process I will do everything in my power to try to get you an ART session in this area.....I will pay for it myself. I just think its best to get a good Dr. here and to get the fillings out while under the care of a knowledgeable Dr.

ART can give you some answers but its not going to get you through these removals better than an experienced Dr. can.

Are you getting worse pains now that you're taking new supplements??

It seemed like you were feeling a little better before adding in the new supplements your Dr. gave you. Nobody can guess as to what you're going to react to.

I would not touch black currant oil....I dont even know what it is but I know I wont touch it. Maybe it'll be different for you but for me...I do NOT handle supplements well at all. I feel better not taking alot of things.

I dont take anything to relieve symptoms...I dont take anything to "soothe" me....I only take the very few things which are essential. My thyroid meds, some detox support, my Lyme treatment, my B12 shots, minerals, nystatin and whey protein.

This is only recently...since I've been going to BioSET and ART...before that I *ONLY* took my thyroid meds....nothing else. I felt alot better not taking anything...I always got worse trying to take random things.

You *are* going to have to take a few things to get you through the rest of the removals. You need a Dr. to put you on the things which are essential to help your body cope with the removals. I wouldnt consider black currant oil to be essential and its just another thing you're probably going to react to.

Dont put extra stress on your body by taking a bunch of different things. If your new Dr. doesnt realize how sensitive you are and that you cant tolerate these things...find another Dr. who *does* understand this and has dealt with patients like you before.

Yes, hang in there, Lisa. It's hard. I was in a decline for four years before I got diagnosed last December. When I started feeling better, people here even noticed a difference in my posts. It's hard and it takes time.

Like Tom said, you do face death and the struggle to keep hope alive. There were plenty of days I would have rather died than continue the fight. I don't believe in taking one's own life, so that never was even a thought, but there were days I'd rather die than live.

As always, I look at the bright side ... I'm no longer afraid of death. ;) I'm finally getting better after a long road. Even this is difficult ... today I'm fine, but in another week and a half I'll be herxing again.

You'll have ups and downs. This is the low for you ... keep working on detoxing, keeping the bowels moving, eat some protein when you can (filets sound like a good idea, but eat some fruits or veggies if you can tolerate them for some fiber). You need to get the fillings out and get detoxing.

I promise you that if you can be strong and get yourself through this process I will do everything in my power to try to get you an ART session in this area.....I will pay for it myself. What type of doctor. Is there a name for a doctor like this. What are they called?

How far is Fresno from LA?

That doctor down there would be closer and has also studied Klinghardt protocols.

Lisa,

I'm going to pm you the name of a dentist I've seen. He's not the one that removed my amalgams but he's good...and he knows alot about this stuff. I was referred to him last year to check for possible infections/cavitations.

I asked Scott...he suggested the dentist....that you might call him and he might be able to refer a good Dr. You might have to travel to the Bay Area but it would be worth it if the Dr. is really experienced.

I would call and explain how sick you are...in the process of removals, chemically sensitive and needing a good Dr. to help you. Hopefully he can recommend someone for you.

I'll pm you the info. after I eat dinner and look for his card somewhere in my mess.

There is no established connection between type 2 diabetes and celiac disease. There is a connection with type 1, however, as about 6% of those with type 1 diabetes also have celiac disease. This rate is 6x that of the celiac rate found in the general population. https://celiac.org/about-celiac-disease/related-conditions/diabetes-and-celiac-disease/

Here is a link to the skin version, and the only ingredients are "chicken": https://www.perduefarms.com/en-US/perdue-bone-in-chicken-thighs-pack/60625.html There should also be ingredients and any allergens listed there on the package.
    • trents
Welcome to the forum, @BeeBarnard! I really can't imagine how either skin or skinless chicken thighs could not be gluten free unless one or the other were treated with some seasoning ingredient that was not gluten free. Do the product labels indicate any additional ingredients added to the meat? Is your daughter a super sensitive celiac? If not, the amount of gluten cross contamination found in seasonings is usually inconsequential.
    • BeeBarnard
HI, My daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac and I would like to make her some chicken soup (she's got he flu). I found all gluten free ingredients but I'm having trouble with the chicken. I purchased Purdue bone-in chicken thighs from BJ's Wholesale Club. Purdue says that they are gluten free but the BJ's website says no. It seems like skin-on chicken is not, but skinless is. Does this seem accurate? Thank you
