Ok, I think it's finally time for me to post my LED treatment experience, which happened on July 4th.

Claire, thanks for posting about your session. :)

The flower essences I believe have something to do with the emotional issues that alot of people might have getting in the way of detox. They use the flower essence for every treatment for that reason. That was my understanding.

ART is the only test which directly tests the ANS and its the only test that can locate mercury in specific body compartments. I do think that the mercury will show up with Asyra at some point.

Anyone having amalgams is going to have mercury stored in the body....personally I think ART is a very valid test. I dont know all of how ASYRA works so its hard for me to comment but since she said it will probably show up later I'm assuming it doesnt reveal everything at once??

Wow Andrea, sorry about all of what you and the kids are dealing with. Take things one step at a time, and remember that they are young, and all this was caught early.

I know we'd all be a lot better off if we had known about some of these things years ago.

I'd like to be included when you send out the emails. :)

Dear Judy,

I get those stupid yeast rashes as well. They pop up out of nowhere! People freak out when they see it! I have had eczema for a long time. I hope killing the yeast off some will help.

The epsom salts are amazing! I have some. However, I do not want to sit in our tub! It is too dirty! Plus, Dad has jungle rot on his feet (he caught that from my grandfather when he was young).

My tush ain't touching that!

I certainly kept this information for epsom salts! It is good to have. Do you think a foot bath with them would help detoxing any? I know I have tons of toxins. Between the cigarette smoke from Dad, the mold all over the place, the yeast, possibly Lyme, you name it, there is something wrong. I may also have absessed teeth.

I am sorry your computer is locking up. :( You might have a virus. That is what the laptop I had did. It had spyware and everything. I had protection, but it was not enough!

Dear Rachel,

That is interesting about flower essences. I did not know they were good for emotional issues! How cool is that? I think it is great that it is part of the protocol. They approach it from all angles! :)

Sincerely,

Jin

Hi Rachel -

The other thing you should look into is a fructose intolerance/malabsorption. The test is a breath test. My 4 year old was just positive this week. And the fact that you were never into sweets prior to the diet changes sends a red flag up. Alot of people with this tend not to have a sweet tooth (now my daughter did get one after we went gluten free due to her celiac but due to her other allergies - milk, eggs, soy, nuts, etc., I think it was b/c there wasn't much else for her to eat). Also, she too has problems with rice milk that I understand may be due to the fact that the rice does contain small amounts of fructose. Almond milk would have added sweeteners. Also, corn has fructose in it as well. I hope its not fructose intolerance for your sake, but thought I would throw this out there. Good luck.

Well I've been struggling for quite some time now. It doesnt matter what I eliminate I'm still sick. Its like it HAS to be something that is constantly in my system because I havent had a single symtom-free day for over 3 years now. Even when I limit myself to 2 safe foods I'm still having symptoms so basically nothing has worked. All meds or supplements have worsened my symptoms. All gluten-free packaged foods bother me. I toatlly eliminated casein and still have problems. It was only one supplement I was taking that had milk in it so I stopped taking it...felt better...started eating more foods and totally symptomatic again.

I was eating Enjoy Life chocolate chips with no problems..also did some baking...no problems. I had one cake mix with all safe ingredients and reacted. The mix only had like 4 ingredients and I tolerate all of them...the only questionable ingredient is Xanthan gum. Its also in every gluten-free product I've reacted to and also rice milks and almond milks and a ton of other stuff I cant have. I found out its from CORN. I never thought about corn...but its in everything. Even when I'm only eating meat and veggies (no corn) I'm still having corn everyday in my thyroid meds and any supplements or vitamins I've ever taken most likely have corn.

Pre gluten-free I never ate much candy or sweets....my favorite snacks were popcorn and Tostitos. These were also the first foods I started avoiding long before I ever heard of gluten because the next day I always had a swollen face and a migraine. I had thought it was from the salt or something. I thought everything was thyroid related since I had Graves so I started avoiding all salt.

I did some research on corn and its in pretty much everything...seems more difficult to avoid then both gluten and dairy. Today at work (I work in a grocery store) I started reading all the labels of the foods I used to eat before I got sick. They ALL have corn. Its in bread, soups, microwave dinners, yogurts, cheese (why is corn in cheese?). Anyways, I've never been corn-free because of my thyroid meds and lots of other things I've tried over the last year. I had posted about getting "glutened" by all the gluten-free cereals. Well they are all corn based....DUH. I dont know why I never thought of this since everything I've had problems with have some form of corn in them.

I really need to eliminate the corn to see if I get better but dont know how I can do this when I need to take thyroid pills everyday. What do people do in a situation like this? What if I'm intolerant to corn all this time and its in the medication I need to take?

The other big question is am I really intolerant to gluten and dairy? If I get better off corn I dont know what to think about that. All the foods that have gluten also have corn so I would likely have to stay off gluten anyways....hmmm...does pizza have corn in it?

Also yogurt and ice cream really mess me up but they also have corn. There ARE some brands and flavors that dont have corn so I would LOVE to not have a problem with dairy!!

I would rather be intolerant to corn and gluten both than have to give up dairy for good.

Does anyone have a corn intolerance? Could I have just developed this out of nowhere and NOT have gluten intolerance...or is it more likely that gluten caused this to happen in the first place? I'm actually hoping I'm corn intolerant cuz as hard as it seems I've been struggling a long time now. The symptoms I've gotten from the stuff I've eaten with xanthan gum are severe....also I had powdered sugar yesterday and had another severe reaction. I have no reaction to cane sugar but when I looked at the ingred. of the powdered stuff its cane suger AND corn starch! Right now I feel exactly like I felt before I ever went gluten-free...everything hurts. :( This would explain why I dont do well with anything processed or with any supplements or vitamins or medications.

I dont see too many people here with corn problems but hopefully someone has some advice about the thyroid meds??

Patti - I have the Detox info...I'll email it to you in a bit.

Just a tidbit from the detox info I got...these are the detox detractors which I am supposed to avoid:

Excess fat, especially trans fats (okay I don't eat trans fats, but the rest will be hard, lol)

Sugar and all its relatives

Artificial sweeteners

Refined carbohydrates, including white rice

Gluten

Soy protein isolates

Caffeine

Alcohol

Mold from overly ripe fruits

See...mostly stuff most of us avoid anyway. The fat is the only thing I'll have a problem with...I may just have to be hungry for a few days until my body adjusts. :(

Grapefruit seed extract is pretty powerful stuff from my own experience with it while on the candida treatment.

Yep, I definitely have a hard time with this one.

I'm getting ready for our trip and will be leaving ... won't be back til sometime Tues pm.

Hope you have a GREAT time!!!!!

When it comes to these kinds of neurological symptoms....after all that I've seen here in this thread and on other boards I frequent...I'm always thinking about infections like Lyme first. Thats just me though....I've seen it show up in nearly everyone having these symptoms and getting themselves tested.

Meeee tooooo. I never would have until this thread though...

T's appointment went well. She had the pesiticide group done. Dr. E wanted to try and do one of the vaccine ones but her body didn't like the two of them together. I need to ask her which one we are doing in 2 weeks.

Wow, interesting stuff.... I'll of course want all the emails you send out regarding ANY of this, lol. Holy guacamole...those little guys had a bunch of stuff going on! Who would have guessed!

Ok, I think it's finally time for me to post my LED treatment experience, which happened on July 4th.

Thanks Claire!! I'm learing a lot from both you and Andrea regarding this.

LISA!!!!!

IV time? Why wait until you're < 80lbs?

It's just one step.

Did I miss some reasons to not do an IV?

And I too highly recommend a food/symptom diary.

It can be SO helpful. Mine played a very large role in my recovery.

Oy I'm trying to not get too behind. So much happening in R'ville.

...

Noticed a bit of . . . . .is it apologizing (?) from ppl posting about their own health issues.

But to me, posts like those are the meat of the thread. I've learned a ton following everyone's ups&downs and progress and problems.

[Edit - forgot too much of what I meant to write last night. Soooo worn out]

While I currently have pretty minor issues, I still fear a relapse into brainfogged joylessness etc..

But this time I'll be SO armed to the teeth w/ all the knowledge picked up through reading all your posts.

Seems so many valuable exchanges start w/ the type of post that the writer him/herself may feel is too 'complain-y', tho no one reading it would think so.

Then the replies run the gamut from sympathy, empathy, "I had that & did this", further queries for differentiating details, etc etc - and in the end, besides raising the collective knowledge of R'ville, the original poster may just find some tidbit sprinkled into the resulting conversation that enables a better understanding of some aspect of their health situation.

I'm sure I'm not saying anything new here, and could probably have gotten away w/ a some quotes and saying "ditto", and maybe I should have done that.

(But then I wouldn't've gotten to say "gamut"!!) (or try out my 'double-contraction' "wouldn't've"!!)

:lol::P

[End edit]

Also, in my mind, you can never know when one little part of one post will hit some reader, today or next week or next month, just right and their OWN health puzzle pieces may start to fit together in a way they may not have seen w/out reading along here.

And of course everyone wants to know how everyone's doing! :)

Here's a ditto for ya, but alas no gamut to fit in.

That liver test sounds really fun! It is difficult to look at your fridge the same way again after having to store urine in it. I felt the same way when I had to do a stool test like that. You had to refrigerate the sample in a tube. Even after the sample was taken to the lab, I still stared at that spot where it was every time I opened the fridge. I don't know if I was expecting to see a phantom tird or what!

The detox diet is something I have heard of. It detoxes the liver. Celebrities do it to lose weight in a hurry. Most of the ones I have seen are liquid diets. I would starve on that! I need solid food!

Did you end up having choir practice last night? I know you said a small group of you were supposed to meet. How many of you are in the group? I used to be in choir in school. We had a good sized group, but I do not ever think I could join a church choir. I do not think my voice is suited for that type of music.

Yeah, I had to put my enterolab sample in the freezer...you better believe I had that package (in the mailing box and pouch already) in TWO plastic bags and then wrapped in two large towels before it went in there. Same thing will happen with the urine sample only I won't be able to put it in the mailing box first, cuz there will be mixing involved.

The detox diet is just including foods known to promote detox and to avoid stuff that detracts...so it's actually food, and pretty much my regular diet anyway...I'll just be adding some stuff like parsley and asparagus and maybe a little cilantro, garlic, etc...stuff like that.

Yes, I had practice last night. There are six in our group (including me)...although we only had 4 last night for practice. I sing the lowest alto part although it's really tenor mostly. I made my request to practice on the mics at least once before the Sunday we sing. I want no booming voice surprises on Sunday morning...probably will freak me out and this way I get to get that over with on a Thursday night. That'll also be good because there will be a few people (mostly band cuz they practice after us) milling in and out of the auditorium so I can get used to singing in front of other people before that Sunday.

tom Contributor
..... I still stared at that spot where it was every time I opened the fridge. I don't know if I was expecting to see a phantom tird or what!

 <and a fleeting "blechh">

Dear tom,

That was great what you found on the Epsom salts for Sherry. I did not know that about it, either. I was surprised to discover they inject it instead most of the time. Apparently, it has a lot of uses. Was it magnesium sulfate heptahydrate?

Yup on the hepta!

I was downright shocked when I thought I was reading that ppl inject epsom salts!!! But, of course it wasn't quite that.

It took adding "manufacture" to the "epsom salts" google to get the real deal.

Hmmm 7 water molecules in a 6 atom compound (MgSO4) - wish I could see one of crude tinkertoy-type models of epsom salt. I like to visualize science of this sort.

Dollface certainly is good at what she does. I liked the "When Was Dat Done?" That is a good one to keep in mind. However, she is still looking for Contrarian Spice. She has a contract out on him. I got that confirmed.

Ohhhhhhhhh now it makes sense that c.spice took off so quickly yesterday!!

After a hurried packing (I think while humming the Pretenders' classic "Pack It Up") of a small duffel, all I got was a "catch ya on the flipside soyboy" and he was gone!! :D

I take it Dollface doesn't buy into "It's the thought that counts" re: his failed attempt to send flowers.

And c'mon Jin!! Isn't Dollface overreacting anyway?? Maybe we can mediate a truce?

(C.Spice does most of the cleaning around here!!) :o:lol::lol:

Your theory on why I tolerate penicillin is interesting. It is very plausible, too. Some people cannot tolerate citric acid that is derived from fungus. Many forms of it are made from Aspergillus. That is a nasty fungus. I am so sensitive to mold, I even have a skin reaction!

I does seem possible but I wonder how it can co-exist w/ the fact that so many ppl ARE allergic to penicillin. Seems that, on the surface, the 2 are contradictory.

Hey, it just donned on me! I get those mystery rashes all the time. Maybe the natural molds in some of the food I am eating is causing that! I was diagnosed with eczema years back. That would make sense why many people with Candida have those strange rashes popping up and disappearing all of the time. What do you think?

BAM!! Right after I mention surprise bits of insight, Jin gets one!!

<the five bucks is on its way - check your paypal> ;)

But I'm not sure what to think - I know very little of intermittent rashes w/ Candida. Never had any so didn't read up on that.

Andrea-

I always want to know- plus i need to know so when i come out there and stay with you i will be up on the latest!! (don't forget our plan)

This stuff should be cleared once we go through treatments.

I'll send out emails sometime today or tomorrow.

Patti,

Mitch and I are looking at the children's results and going "what's it going to look like with us?". Seems like things would build up over the years. Anyway, we are excited about this.

I just wanted to catch up real quick. I've got to turn the computer off for about 3 more hours.

Back later. :D

you may need IV nutrition until your system settles down enough to start digesting and retaining nutrients.

I DEFINATELY AGREE!!! I really think you need to get some IV nutrition. Your most important concern right now is nutrition and hydration ... after that -- the toxins. Please get to the hospital!!

Let us know before you go so we know where you are and what's going on. :)

Rachel- What you said about prayer and spirituality really hit home with me. When I went through my first depression, I prayed constantly. I would just go sit in a church and pray and cry and it calmed me. Since then, I've become much more spiritual (don't go to church) but pray and meditate and got more into Buddhism. It helps so much.

Prayer is a BIG part of my life. I'm coming from a Catholic perspective ... the Catholic teachings on suffering are beautiful and have really helped me to understand that all this is in no way a punishment ... it's helping me grow as a person (and it has in a big way) ... and it's helping my family grow, too. Looking at the Crucifix, you see that Christ suffered ...

I am the BIGGEST butthead!!!!!!!!!!!!

Umm, no, you might be the second biggest, but my husband is the biggest ... he knows it, I tell him all the time! :D I'm not allowed to complain about it though because I knew it and married him anyway.

Hmmm...leaking into the general board....seems I've tried this and generally dont get very good response  .

People dont want to entertain the thought of other possibilites for symptoms (unrelated to gluten)....I think I've been attacked on more than one occassion.....hence keeping the majority of scientificness safe in Rachelville. B)

Yep. I do try to leak it out once in a while, but only in obvious cases.

The numbness in your legs is really worrisome though. :(

This is turning out to be one of Chloe's Lyme/herx symptoms ... more later on her herx.

When it comes to these kinds of neurological symptoms....after all that I've seen here in this thread and on other boards I frequent...I'm always thinking about infections like Lyme first. Thats just me though....I've seen it show up in nearly everyone having these symptoms and getting themselves tested.

I agree ... and I do think Lyme is this epidemic ... it shows up differently in different people, some not having symptoms at all.

The sweats sound like babesia. I get them ... very annoying. They've lessened with treatment.

3rd Item: Recreational Drugs, i.e. wheat. Yes WHEAT is a recreational drug :P !

Sorry, I can't buy that wheat is a recreational drug ... pizza is good, but never makes me feel like I've taken drugs.

I think my diet is too restricted ... I had a dream the other night that someone gave me a recreational drug rolled up like a miniature burrito (very funny ...). I kept losing it because it was so small ... I never did get to enjoy it. I told my teenagers about this dream ... they found it funny.

I grew up in a family that drinks wine with dinner every night ... I haven't had a drink since December ... I guess my mind was trying to give me something that would be similar to a drink without going off my Lyme diet!

I can see why you would not want to stop the meds, despite the D. D is no fun, but the Lyme can cause other problems that are more difficult to deal with. It is not totally surprising you are not seeming to be absorbing the probiotics. I read somewhere that you should really not take probiotics until after you are off of antibiotics. They say the probiotics are destroyed by the antibiotics.

Yes, I take them hours apart because of this.

As far as my sweat goes, the Candida is the likely culprit. I am working on getting rid of it. The process may be long, but worth it if there is improvement. I do not have access to a sauna, but love to take steamy hot showers. Do they help detoxing any?

Sweating helps some, but the FIR saunas also help chelate ... they heat the tissue deeper.

I think exercise would be more likely to heat the tissue deeper, but even that doesn't get the toxins out that the FIR sauna does.

Both exercise and steamy showers are good, but don't have as deep an effect.

Buddhism is interesting. I took a religion quiz some time back about which beliefs best fit mine, and Buddhism was the first one! It matched me the closest. I love the Dalai Lama! He would be so wonderful to meet! Did you know Steven Seagal and Richard Gere are Buddhists? I think I read somewhere Orlando Bloom is as well.

There's a buddhist monastary in Bloomington, IN. Steven Seagal went there for some event they have every year and a friend of ours (a police officer) was his body guard while he was there. :)

Anyway, you'd see them once in a while in town ... they liked Starbucks ... I saw them there. :P

The Dalai Lama's brother lives in Bloomington ... come to think of it, I think the Dalai Lama was the draw, I think he was there ... anyway, his brother (and family) owns a couple restaurants ... one of them was a favorite of ours -- a Thai restaurant. The other one had really greasy food, didn't like it at all.

Okay, question -- when you have a post all written out and the board tells you there are too many quotes or too many emoticons, how do you split that post in half? I see you guys do it, but when I try to highlight, then "cut", my computer doesn't give me the option to cut when I right click.

Andrea, the quote I cut was asking to be on your email list. :)

This amoxy has been kicking my butt. <_< Anytime I start on something new it wipes me out.

Chloe is having her first herx. She's not doing too badly ... it started with insomnia and leg pain/weakness. The next day it was Lyme rage ... she got so mad she sat in her closet for an hour ... totally out of character for Chloe. She still had Lyme rage and pouting the next day. She's tired and her legs hurt. She's very mopey. Yesterday, instead of walking to the sink to put her bowl in it, she slid on her bottom across the floor because she didn't want to stand up.

She is not bedridden like me early herxes made me, but she is resting a lot.

So, here is our confirmation that it is Lyme. I guess that's good.

Hi Rachel -

..... . . . . . .

. . . .. but thought I would throw this out there. Good luck.

Dorothy

Rachel!!

Ya got another one!! (Hi Dorothy!! :) )

I swear Rachel you MUST have some sort of record for most replies made a year or more after original post!!!

Last time it happened I was wondering whether a pre-emptive edit on this thread's 1st post might be worthwhile.

Something like "hello new visitor - we're a THOUSAND+ pages past these early issues. Please hit >> and join us!!".

Hehe it IS amusing and I suppose unavoidable when a thread spans several zipcodes. :)

Excess fat, especially trans fats (okay I don't eat trans fats, but the rest will be hard, lol)

. . . . .

Yep, I definitely have a hard time with this one.

Hi Donna - I'm wondering whether the key word at the top is "Excess".

There's a humongous difference to me betw "avoiding fats" and "avoiding *excess* fats".

I'm inclined to think that your diet may need VERY little change w.r.t. fats.

Not sure of the current nutbutter situation (I think back on), and while they DO have fat, the type in almonds, for instance, is THE healthiest possible fat. Better than other nuts, etc etc. (According to numerous articles I've come across in a wide variety of publications)

So I'd say, unless you're opening multiple jars at once to <blehhh> DRINK the oil collected at the top, there's nearly zero chance, IMHO, nutbutters qualify as EXCESS fat.

Wouldn't most ppl that that "detox diet" info is aimed at be coming off a more normal american diet, flush w/ fats?

Unless u had plans for a well-marbled steak (laughable I'll assume), I'd reconsider what could be labeled "excess".

Here's a ditto for ya, but alas no gamut to fit in.

Yeah, I had to put my enterolab sample in the freezer...you better believe I had that package (in the mailing box and pouch already) in TWO plastic bags and then wrapped in two large towels before it went in there.

Wow will *I* ever do it that way if the need ever comes up.

Considering doing it just for the datapoint of "results while feeling great". Might be great to compare to if I go into a decline again.

Can I buy a costco mini-fridge and return it 5 days later??? LMAO

. . . .. . I made my request to practice on the mics at least once before the Sunday we sing. I want no booming voice surprises on Sunday morning...probably will freak me out and this way I get to get that over with on a Thursday night.

Definitely a mahhhhh-vel-lous idea to get used to the mics!!

Now . . . . . . .heehee . . . . .where is this auditorium and what time on the 5th are u up? :P:lol:

<omg I amuse myself too too much>

So, here is our confirmation that it is Lyme. I guess that's good.

I'm sorry she's having such a rough time, but I think it is your confirmation. Has she gone the 4 weeks yet? When do she retest?

I think it's good that you're finding all this stuff out while they're still young.

I feel the same way about Chloe. It's not that I'm happy that she's dealing with it, I'm just happy that we recognized the symptoms in her early, before she got sick.

I totally agree.

Chloe should have an easier time getting through this......not that it will be a picnic but I'm glad you caught it early too. :)

Hehe it IS amusing and I suppose unavoidable when a thread spans several zipcodes. :)

How about several time zones. :)

Love your new llama pic btw. :D

Talitha is in her room so I'm back on here. She's been on a reading marathon the last couple weeks.

Donna,

It doesn't sound like you really need to worry about your diet too terribly much. Was this for 3 days you said.

I also think it's a good idea to practice with the mic.

Re: thread spanning zipcodes

How about several time zones. :)

Yup, and continents too. But I think I left a word or 2 out. Happens a lot when I'm typing along. I learned LONG ago I better proofread, since missing words often leave a sentence meaning the EXACT opposite of what I tried to say!!! (Have left "not" out plenty of times!)

I tried to imply something closer to "if the thread were printed out & pages laid end to end, it'd span zipcodes.

3rd Item: Fungal Toxins: Aflatoxin, Acetaldehyde. Sometimes produced by fungi in the paranasal sinuses or gut and also found in mouldy air, peanuts, corn, and grain-fed beef or chicken.

Yup....pretty sure this is gonna be a big one for me. My body is like a freakin mycotoxin warehouse!!

A have big problems with acetaldeydes too. :(

Pretty sure there will also be alot of pesticides from the 7 years I worked in produce without ever using gloves. This is when I started having burning/numbness on my back when washing the lettuce and I also got brown spots on my hands.

It was around that time the my thyroid first went overactive. <_<

The spots on my hands and the burning on my back went away after I stopped working in produce but I'm thinking I probably started getting pretty toxic during that time.

I should go to bed, but I was inspired to finally write this all down.

Rachel, I'm hoping you send me your whole list (typed out or copied....I'll just be typing everything this time). I talked to Dr. Amy today. She has her brace off. I told her we were friends, that we met online and also told her you set up your appointment on the 25th. She thinks it's interesting how everyone seems so intertwined. What would we do without the internet? Anyway, she's happy and says Scott's excited about this too. :D

Andrea,

I'm not doing ASYRA so I'm thinking there will be some diferences in the lists. I'll be primarily doing muscle testing. Scott told me had 7 treatments to do....not sure what the toxins were though.

I think he started treatment this week so I'm looking forward to hearing how it went. Yeah....I'm sure he's excited too...but I dunno if I could picture him jumping up and down on Oprah's couch yelling "LED!! LED!! LED!!":lol:

Good news about Amy's wrist. :)

I still plan on calling over there and getting her opinions about going ahead with the treatments right now.

I'm wondering if Micah showed alot more things because they are all small issues ....without his body being under alot of stress....they are able to reveal themselves at once.

Whereas someone with some big burdens may not show alot of things right off the bat....just primarily the ones that are needing immediate attention....in which case the other issues or even undelying factors may shopw up later....after some of the biggest stressors are dealt with.

In that case it makes sense to me that Micah has more showing up...including the mercury showing itself. The other two likely have heavier burdens of mercury and therefore might have other issues which have developed on top of that and their bodies are only able to reveal those other things right now.

I dont know but thats what I was thinking....that the ones with the most problems have more layers to their "onion"...whereas the healthier ones wouldnt have alot of layers to go through...things havent piled up so much. Whats there should be more easily revealed without having to go through a process of going through layers and things hiding behind each other.

I have 4 more days to go. :D

ROBBIN SENT ME SOME HOME MADE EPCOM SALTS BATH SOAKS WHEN I HAD THOSE YEAST RASHES. WELL IT WORKED LIKE A MIRACLE.

SO THIS IS WHAT WAS HAPPENING?

IT WAS PULLING THE TOXINS FROM MY SYSTEM?

Judy,

Yup....thats what the epsom salts can do...they can draw out toxins. Once you leave the tub all that magnesium sulfate has been absorbed into your system and is doing its work long after you've stepped out of the tub.

If they worked well for you....you might want to continue using them every so often. :)

Rachel!!

Ya got another one!! (Hi Dorothy!! :) )

I swear Rachel you MUST have some sort of record for most replies made a year or more after original post!!!

Last time it happened I was wondering whether a pre-emptive edit on this thread's 1st post might be worthwhile.

Yeah...I've been meaning to do this for months now....keep forgetting. I always feel bad when people spend the time to post their suggestion about corn or other possible food intolerance.

I think earlier this year we all decided it would be best to edit the original post....but yeah...I always dingo it until I see a new reply.

I must make sure I remember to do this!!

I have been SHUT OUT from the universe for the better part of three days, stupid @#*&%!! AT&T, internet power down in all western states, I have been on the phone with three times.........arghhhhhhhhhhhh......

Yup..... stupid @#*&% AT&T!!

I guess my mom doesnt have AT&T cuz I'm still here  ...havent been shut out from the universe yet. :)

Hope you'll be back with us soon! :D

I'm thinking the same thing.

I'll take whatever report you can give me. I'm also sure that once you get some detoxing going that you'll be able to do the ASYRA scan.

I also woulnd't mind a Scott update after you've found out how he's doing.

Part of your wait is the weekend and those always seem to go by quickly. :D

There is no established connection between type 2 diabetes and celiac disease. There is a connection with type 1, however, as about 6% of those with type 1 diabetes also have celiac disease. This rate is 6x that of the celiac rate found in the general population. https://celiac.org/about-celiac-disease/related-conditions/diabetes-and-celiac-disease/

Here is a link to the skin version, and the only ingredients are "chicken": https://www.perduefarms.com/en-US/perdue-bone-in-chicken-thighs-pack/60625.html There should also be ingredients and any allergens listed there on the package.

Welcome to the forum, @BeeBarnard! I really can't imagine how either skin or skinless chicken thighs could not be gluten free unless one or the other were treated with some seasoning ingredient that was not gluten free. Do the product labels indicate any additional ingredients added to the meat? Is your daughter a super sensitive celiac? If not, the amount of gluten cross contamination found in seasonings is usually inconsequential.

HI, My daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac and I would like to make her some chicken soup (she's got he flu). I found all gluten free ingredients but I'm having trouble with the chicken. I purchased Purdue bone-in chicken thighs from BJ's Wholesale Club. Purdue says that they are gluten free but the BJ's website says no. It seems like skin-on chicken is not, but skinless is. Does this seem accurate? Thank you
