Dear Donna,

I hope you found the information on the chrystals helpful. If you need any help finding them, I can give you some links. They are not hard to find. Clear quartz is pretty widely available. It is probably the most readily available of all of the different kinds of quartz.

Dear Carla,

I am sorry to hear this herx is bringing you down a lot. Amoxy does not do that to me. In fact, I actually did very well on it. The Zith did not do too much except maybe give me some D. Of course, it varies on dosage and such. That makes a big difference how it effects you.

Wow, you sure take a lot of supplements! :o How on Earth do you have room for food? That might explain why you are normally not hungry. I am almost always hungry! I had a couple of days where I was hardly hungry at all, then I will be starving almost all day other times.

My parents went to see "Stardust" the other night! They really liked it. Naturally, the make Witches ugly old hags that are evil. That is so annoying! It was really cool you got to see it for free because of technical difficulties! :) How funny that this happened at the other theater as well!

Dear Julie,

Sunshine Spice is nice! ;) It sounds like a hippie name! Hey, if we all had hippie names, you could be Sunshine, or Sister Golden Hair! I am not sure which hippie name I would choose. It would either be Moonbeam or Moon Blossom. Which one do you think fits me best?

You know Billy! Not many people I tell about him know who he is! Yes, he was on "Baywatch" as Eddie Kramer from 1989 until 1992. He was Frankie Brady on DOOL, and in fact won an Emmy for the role in 1988 as Best Actor for Younger Leading Man. Billy played A.J. Quartermaine on GH for seven years, the longest of any of the numerous actors who portrayed the character.

Now he is on "The Young and the Restless" as Ben Hollander. He was married to actress Marcy Walker from 1987 to 1988, but she called him at work one day and told him she was in love with another man. :( Billy was engaged to Erika Eleniak from 1992 through 1993, then Julie Pinson was engaged to him from 1998 to 1999. That broke off, and he later proposed to Tolan Clark in 2003, but it broke off as well the next year. Julie and him got back together and married last August 26th. You might know her better as Billie Reed from DOOL. My heart is still broken, but at least Julie seems really nice.

Dear tom,

Yes, Dollface may very well have done C. Spice in. She would not be overly concerned about those hoodlum relatives of his. Dollface can take care of them. This woman is always loaded, and not with alcohol. Her gun is in her garter under her dress most of the time. She even always has a silencer handy, just in case.

Our lizard seems to have gone back outside. It probably was a bit too active for him in here. The dog probably scared him off. Despite how fast the lizard was, he may have been nervous with Dart sniffing around. Dart might be scared of him though. He is afraid of mice.

You will find that special, non-commital, Celiac lady. It takes time. Sometimes, they are right in front of you. The obvious is often missed. Taking things slow is a smart idea. Some people rush into relationships, and that is not a good thing to do.

I am going to do a search for Celiac meetings here. I know there were some before. I saw them. It probably meets on the East side of town. The West side never has stuff like that. I do not know why, we just don't. We are not the happening side of town!

Dear Rachel,

Thioethers are scary! OMG, and I have a root canal! I had it done last year in July!:o I hope it is not causing problems. I am going to probably tell my dentist to extract the molar needing a root canal even if my doctor says okay to one.

Someone here mentioned the cute police officer. Maybe they thought of something else. I do not know. Anyway, this guy sounds nice. You said he is your mother's neighbor? Watch out! Those stupid worms will be batting their eyelashes at him!

Your treatment program is extensive! That is good. They seem to cover everything that possibly needs covered. Thank you for the information on it. I have it in a document now.

Dollface and the girls can take on an HMO, absolutely! ;) That will be easy compared to pinning their crimes on the men in the Mafia. Their aim is just that, too. Let's just say they have a few vendettas. Kaiser would probably look great with a moon roof in his head. Concrete booties become many people, you know!

I am glad to hear the rebounding is as helpful as the chi machine! I have one of those already! I do not have the money for a chi machine. Maybe if I win the lotto! I hear the Powerball is going up again.

It is so weird you only have had two LED treatments. I don't know why, but I was thinking you had more. Mercury will be done before you know it! The 5th treatment will probably creep up quickly! I bet you are anxious to get that one done!

Dear Andrea,

I hope T's behavior improves as well. Another friend of mine is having the exact same problem with one of her children. In fact, she is the middle child as well! I wonder if that has anything to do with it? I know her daughter could be poisoned, too.

You mentioned problems with fruit. That tends to be related to Candida. I ate a pear, and had a white tongue like you would not believe later! How scary is that? Stupid fungus! My lower abdomen is so bloated, no matter what!

I am probably getting a tooth extracted soon as well. I cannot keep it and have another root canal put in. Rachel's awesome scientificness certainly is all the more motivation to avoid root canals! The remarkable improvements speak for themselves. People recovering from wellness upon removal of these terrible toxin-causing dental procedures shows they are best off avoided.

Dear Kassandra,

You really do look great in your avatar! It is tricky trying to get a good pic. I had to flip the camera around and do my own. I had a time with it, too! Plus, it looks so goofy of me trying to take a pic of myself! Most of the time, I was cutting my head off or something! :o:P

Dear Claire,

That sure is not what I expected for the retreat. I am not sure that is what I would go for. I am more of a yurt girl. Remember the guy in the yurt and the weed eating tweedle pigs Susie talked about? Oh man, that was hilarious!

I just think I would prefer a place I can kind of do my own thing. I do not want to have to be on a schedule or anything.

Personal growth retreats are nice. I do not know if any offer what I am looking for, though. Really, a retreat for me would be going to the salon and actually getting the chance to have my eyebrows and hair professionally done, a manicure, and pedicure too!

Sincerely,

Jin

P.S. Today is my first gluten-free anniversary! :) I need to celebrate today. I joined the forum exactly one year ago! I need to do something special. Now if I can just think of what.

Wow, you sure take a lot of supplements! :o How on Earth do you have room for food? That might explain why you are normally not hungry. I am almost always hungry! I had a couple of days where I was hardly hungry at all, then I will be starving almost all day other times.

Yeah, maybe this explains why I'm not hungry, ever!!!

My parents went to see "Stardust" the other night! They really liked it. Naturally, the make Witches ugly old hags that are evil. That is so annoying! It was really cool you got to see it for free because of technical difficulties! :) How funny that this happened at the other theater as well!

The witches were only ugly because they were something like 300 years old. They were selfish, but the king/his sons were selfish, too. They all wanted the "star's" heart to have eternal life and restore their youth. Anyone can be selfish.

Tom, that's all ironic timing.

Claire, retreats are great. Usually I go on one every year ... a weekend long, guided talks/meditations, silent retreat. No cell phone, no computer, no talking to the other people there. It really makes you look inside. I haven't been in a couple years because of my health.

That's so cool you saw condors! I LOVE birds! I have a pet bird ... his name is Nikki (LOL, I don't think Nikki knows) ... I didn't know if he was a boy or girl when I named him! He's a goffin cockatoo and loved to cuddle. He talks some ... on day he said, "Hi baby, how're ya' doin?, I love you, c'mere."

Jin, my avatar is one I took with my cell phone. :D

Driveby premature post, lol. My wonderful day of massage and shopping was followed by a day of quite yucky detox/herx/stupidity/metal mobilization combo heinosity. :( I logged on once yesterday thinking I could catch up and reply to a few things, but couldn't sit at the computer for very long, so just gave up and crawled back to my couch.

I bought some Sun Chlorella at WF on Saturday because I ran out of the liquid stuff I buy from BioSET...they've been out of it, and didn't expect it in for a while, so I bought this to try. Works really well I think. :( The serving size is 15 200mg tablets spread out or taken all together. :o

So, just took 5 Chlorella pills Saturday evening...that plus the stupidity thing, plus the detox from the massage (and resulting epsom salt 15 minute bath soak) started things off...I couldn't sleep Saturday night and was awake much of the night with nausea....woke up yesterday with really bad D and was so dizzy I could hardly walk straight...that old disconnected brain thing was back. :(

The good news is that I slept WONDERFULLY well last night...still woke up a couple of times, but fell right back to sleep, and even slept until my alarm went off at 4:20....I NEVER sleep til my alarm goes off, lol. If I didn't have to work today, I think I may have slept until 5 or maybe even 6!

I've reduced the number of chlorella pills I'm taking down to 3 at one time and so far today I'm feeling okay. I brought 3 more to take at lunch. Just had the D this morning, but it's not like yesterday, and so far no disconnected brain feeling, although my arm feels like it has a sunburn again.

I did see one question yesterday while browsing (that I actually remember) ...

Rachel, the girl I saw on Saturday was at the Willow Glen place...she's right up there with the PT guy who is at HN (there's only a guy now at HN...the girl who USED to do massages at HN moved out of state).

Okay, off to catch up.

dlp252 Apprentice

Okie dokie...just mailed off my air samples for the mold test.

Donna, I'm sure that augmentin helped with the Lyme. :)

Yeah, I think I was at that dosage for at least 2 months, so at least that period of my life accomplished SOMETHING.

Donna, happiness is a good massage therapist

Definitely!! Thanks for the links...got them bookmarked but will have to look at them later...they've got me busy at work today.

Had my first appointment with the dentist - future costs look to be around $7,500 all told - over a couple years.

Sorry you've been having such a tough time! This is somewhere around what I spent as well, only mine was over a couple of months. :(

I thought I'd heard most of the local lore, but this hottie police squad is new to me. I would've bet the Ranch99 Market that the attack geese were more than adequate!! (Orrrrrr, are these the kind of 'police' who show up w/ boomboxes on their shoulders??)

Nope, attack geese just won't do in this case. :P

Well, I did some looking around about energy absorption for you. Do you know anyone who makes you feel particularly drained whenever you are around them? They could be an energy vampire. This can cause sleep problems. The good news is, you can fix it.

Clear quarts chrystals might be all you need. You either take some large ones and place for of them around your bed, or wear a small one on a necklace or something. I think this might also prevent you from accidentally absorbing others' energy. Psychic attack can be on purpose or accidental. Many people steal energy from others without realizing it. All of us are capable, but if you are a victim, this is especially important to take care of, before it drains your body and life force more.

Thanks for the info on cyrstals...I might even have a clear quartz crystal...don't know. Does it matter if it's polished and shaped or faceted, lol?!

As far as energy, yes there are people who seem to drain me. Fortunately I've gotten away from most of them. My co-worker is still a drainer sometimes though.

Donna- I'm glad you had such a great massage, not only relaxing but it is also very helpful with lymph drainage and the overall release of toxins so two birds with one stone there.

Yeah...think I had TOO much of a good thing, lol. Oh yeah, used to like Billy Warlock. ;)

Anyways heres a link to one of the Dr.'s (Dr. Gordon)....he uses the same approach as Dr. Shoemaker (author of "Mold Warriors").

Open Original Shared Link

Then there is Dr. Marinkovich in Redwood City....he does injections for mold desensitization and that type of thing. He's an immunologist.

Open Original Shared Link

Thanks for the links. I wonder if Dr. Gordon is the same Dr. Gordon of the vitamins that Anna carries. Scott was going to interview that doctor and I think it was Dr. Gordon. I need to pick up that book (Mold Warriers).

I think Tom could be a support for you on this one! You are not alone!

Hum, not much of a reaction from Tom on this one, lol. Maybe hoping no one would notice...maybe hoping no one would mention it even if they did notice. :P:lol:

Yes! Must commemorate somehow!

Did u pop into R'ville that same day too? I think my 1st day back on the forum as a whole, I saw the 1200+ page length and couldn't resist. My 1st omg post was a nitpicky, irritable soy-brained one - the kind expected from the old guy in the neighborhood who always yells "hey u kids, get out of my yard!". That sure ain't me anymore!!!! ;)B)

DONNA!!! Wow!! Great sleep!! (yay!)

(And LOL - "not much reaction"? I *did* LOL Claire in a reply! How much reaction do ya want???)

Now, for Julie's idea of comparing where we are today as compared to the first of the year....

I think at the first of the year I was still experiencing the disconnected brain thing. I would lose track of what I was saying in mid sentence and sometimes couldn't even think of what I was trying to say. One instance of trying to say a word and having it completely gone from my head and not even being able to relay the meaning of it because it was completely gone. I had very bad D, nausea, spaciness and dizzyness, back neck pain, extreme exhaustion, various infections and more but can't think off the top of my head.

Since then, the infections seem to be gone, the nausea has gone, the spaciness, dizzyness and disconnected brain feeling are gone unless I eat something stupid, I can eat a bit more variety in my diet, and I was sleeping better until a few weeks ago.

I still lose my thoughts sometimes though.

I'm not taking any heavy duty meds (after the extreme stuff I took to get rid of the H.Pylori), just supplements. Off the top of my head this is what I'm taking:

Detoxosode Bacteria (Scott said this was important for all my issues including Lyme--this was given to me originally by Anna and I've been taking it since January)

Transfer Factor LymePlus

Colon Terrain

Molybdenum (liquid)

Liquid B complex

Sublingual MethylB12

Liposomal Liquid Glutathione

Adaptopath (just till this bottle runs out I think)

IBD-chord (again just till it runs out)

Chlorella (usually liquid, but it's getting hard to get which is why I'm trying the tablets)

Banderol

Cumanda (switching every two weeks between this and the Banderol)

NT Factor (for energy)

L-Glutamine

Alpha Lipoic Acid

IntraMax (liquid multivitamin, but I'm out now so am taking some stuff I took a few months ago until I can buy more)

CoQ10 (two different kinds)

Calcium (not much)

Magnesium

Lymphasol (for detox)

Melatonin

5-HTP

Pectasol (a modified citrus pectin to mop up mercury---started while getting my amalgams out and have just continued it)

and the new one that I mentioned last week and now can't remember the name of, lol.

T's my oldest though.

Congrats on one year! :D I passed my one year mark on the forum in mid May and one year gluten free on June 6. :)

Ugh, on the reaction yesterday. :( YAY on sleeping better!!!!! :D

Ok, I'm off in about 1/2 hour for the next treatments. MEK group (plastics) for T. Hopefully she'll cooperate, plastic is everywhere. Mitch papered the plastic in the van that would be near her. We put the training potty in the van, all covered, so I don't have to stop at public restrooms on the way home. We plan on stopping at WF briefly to pick up a few things......gotta get the ice packs before I forget or my list will be a couple things short. :P

Wow, lots to catch up on.

Lots of scientificness the last couple of days too. Thanks Rachel for all of the informative posts. I always thought it was so fascinating with this type of alternative medicine that the state of health of the mouth has a lot to say about the state of helath of the body and vice versa.

Also thanks Rachel, Andrea (the children), Carla, Donna, and Tom for your updates on where you are, what your protocols are, etc. Very helpful and changes and improvements are evident.

My report is brief, since my angioedema has been out of hand it has been my main focus and I haven't really been able to address anything other than that.

I have noticed however that there has been a significant amount of healing in my intestinal lining, my years and years of struggling with major "C", and the body's natural process of elimination, is a thing of the past. Everything is functioning properly and normally in that area now :D and it hadn't been for a really long time.

I am also able to eat more foods, still everything organic and in as natural state as possible, but I would eat that way regardless if my system was compromised and chronic illness present. My stomach just seems like a whole other animal, it isn't constantly upset with the flare ups I used to regularly experience.

I am only taking probiotics and black walnut/wormwood combo at the moment but I have waiting in the wings to add in-cod liver oil and a multi vitamin pack.

Donna- I am so sorry you had a rough weekend :( Lots going on with your body and major detox, too much all at once? It sounds like things calmed down a little by Sun and I'm glad you were able to get some rest considering.

Jin- Sister Golden Hair :lol: I like that one too, I actually love that song! My vote is for Moon Blossom, has that something extra to it! Happy one year anniversary :)

BTW- the cute police officer thing was a reference to some Rachelville craziness way back when, Rachel didn't actually meet a police officer the other day. Sorry for the confusion

Good luck Andrea, I'll be thinking of you guys hoping all goes well.

Yeah, I remember it. I thought you were a nit-wit ... why would anyone go to the trouble to Google how many people the Speedway held? Indiana folklore is better, 500,000 no matter what the truth is. Funny thing is, it was only this year (if I remember correctly) that someone bothered counting the seats.

I especially laughed that this nit-wit from Arizona was prompted to make his first post correcting me on that!!

Donna, glad you got some rest .... you must have really stirred up something to cause that reaction.

Jin, congrats on the one year!

Thanks everyone on the updates!

I just got back from my doctor's appointment. I have spent most of my day there! They also sent me over to a dentist that I really like. Lots 'o testing and lots of information. I'm going to attempt to share the experience. I did a 24 hour urine collection starting on Saturday that I gave them for testing this morning. They also did electrodermal testing to determine what was stressing my body and what my body thinks it needs. I then had an EKG. Next was thermal imaging on my head & chest. This was so cool. They drew blood for other testing. Next I got an IV of DMPS for a 6 hour challenge for heavy metals. I'm doing a 6 hour urine challenge and also a fecal test which I will have to mail off similar to the Enterolab testing. Joy  While the IV was going I spoke with the doctor and took some binders to move the metals out of my body. Based on the things I've told him, the electrodermal testing and the thermal imaging he's certain my thryoid is still not completely in balance even though I'm taking Armour thyroid meds. My doctor was only testing free T3, free T4 and TSH. She was not testing the thyroid antibodies. I brought the results with me from my latest bloodwork in June so he had these to work with as well. When the bloodwork tests come back he'll know better how to treat my thryoid. In the meantime he believes I need cortisone which he prescribed today. On the thermal image of my head you can see where my sinuses drain all the way down my throat and down to my lymph nodes on left side. He gave me some nasal spray that will clear this up and he wants me to do a lymph massage to clear up it up from there. He gave me some oil to use that is supposed to help this process. It's called 'poke root oil' The thermal image also showed that I have literally no circulation in my hands. He thinks this is due to mercury, but could have other meanings which will be looked at later if it doesn't clear up. My thyroid also appeared 'hot' on the thermal image which coincides with the other test results. He gave me a supplement to help with leaky gut called Butyric-Cal-Mag and some vitamin D drops. He said I'm low in Vitamin D. They also did electrodermal testing for foods that stress my body. I have a list of about 23 things they want me to avoid for a while. After my IV was done they sent me to a dentist they refer their patients to for a free exam. He was really nice and he's been through their detox treatment as well. I have an appointment set for September 11th to have the amalgam removed. He will take it all out at once and then my doctor will immediately give me an IV of DMPS and more binders to start the detox procedure. I will have an appointment with the doctor on this same day to go over the remaining test results and to go over the protocol to get me back in balance. I feel really good about the people I'm working with now. They seem really knowledgeable. They also seem genuinely concerned about getting me back to health. I'm so glad I listened to you all that told me I needed to do this the right way. I was really inclined to just get the amalgam fillings out and deal with the rest later. Oh and they did ask about ticks, if I had ever been bit. They said they would work on getting everything else in check first and not treat the Lyme specifically unless absolutely necessary. This was at the end of a 2 hour appointment so I didn't ask them to expound, but I will ask more at my next appointment.

Now to go catch up. It looks like you all have been busy here :)

I agree Ami, it sounds like you got a lot accomplished in your appt today and that all bases are being covered.

Would this be a scar from an injury? This is interesting. I know it's been mentioned here before, but it just dawned on my that it's usually my left knee that hurts when I get joint pain, and I have a scar on the backside of my leg behind my knee from a broken Coke bottle from when I was a kid. I got three stitches, they left them in too long, so there are canals (can't think of another word for them) where the stiches were. They fill up with gunk and I have to clean them out (like popping a pimple).

Carla,

I dont know a whole lot about the scars because I dont really have any...except one on my knee from when I got hit by a car. It was from losing alot of skin on my kneecap but there were no deep cuts or anything like that.

I've never even had stitches if you can believe that! I dont know how I managed to not mess myself up too much with my tom-boyish ways and all.

Anyways...5 years ago I got pretty messed up...so I guess I'm getting my pay-backs for no serious previous injuries.

The scar stuff is pretty interesting. They check for these kinds of disturbances with ART....but obviously not an issue for me so no time was spent on it.

You can read about it here...

Migraines, Seizures, and Mercury Toxicity

Chronic pain and other long-term symptoms often get resolved after a series of injections with a local anesthetic. It's called NEURAL THERAPY, and it works through the nervous system.

RICHARD LEVITON

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maisie, a 32-year-old actress, had suffered from migraine headaches for nine years. They occurred twice a week and were so intense that she had to retreat to her bed with a cloth over her eyes, all the lights off, and the blinds drawn.

Most of the time, the pain lasted through the day, and the next morning she would feel nauseous and exhausted from the ordeal. Maisie was taking a serious amount of conventional migraine medications but none of the drugs abated the frequency or the severity of the attacks.

Maisie was fortunate in making contact with a physician who has an unusual approach to treating chronic pain conditions such as migraines. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., Ph.D., who practices in Seattle, Washington, asked Maisie when her migraines started.

She told him that, nine years before, she had been injured on a movie set when a prop gun discharged wrongly and seared her upper arm with powder burns. The burn wound was surgically treated three times to produce a cosmetically acceptable result, but it still left a large, highly visible scar.

Maisie's migraines started four months after this accident; she had never had migraines before. From Dr. Klinghardt's perspective, the scar was the cause of the migraines, and this understanding suggested the proper course of treatment.

After he gave Maisie a single injection into the scar of 1% procaine, a standard local anesthetic, she never had another migraine attack. That was ten years ago. The secret of how a scar can cause migraines and many other chronic conditions, and how injecting the scarred sites with an anesthetic can produce lasting relief, is the essence of Dr. Klinghardt

As much as I love the California coast, sea otters, Monterey cypress trees, and redwood trees, my heart belongs to Colorado! I love my mountains there, the smell of the pine forests. It's weird, but redwood forests don't have any smell  .

Do forests really smell different in Colorado??

Rachel didn't actually meet a police officer the other day.

Yeah....and hopefully I wont be meeting any in the near future either.

My car needs to be smogged for registration but they couldnt smog it cuz the "service engine soon" light was on. Whatever was causing that got fixed...and my car runs fine now. Then before I could get it smogged the freakin light came back on.

So they hook it up to the computer and the lights coming on for some stupid reason totally unrelated to the engine and nothing I need to have fixed. The guy resets it so that the light goes off....then I gotta drive like 30 miles or the machine wont allow my car to be smogged (because of the "reset").

Before I ever get to the point where the machine will ok the smog...the freakin light comes back on.

So yeah....it been going on since late May....and thats when my registration was due! :o

I dont have tags....cant get them w/out the freakin smog certificate and cant get that because of the stupid light that wont stay off.

I've never been late on my registration before and it looks like I'm just gonna have to pay it and not get the tags until I can finally get it smogged.

So....NO...I do not want to meet up with any police officers!!!!

At least not until I get my tags. :P

Andrea....hope all is going well today. :)

Ami,

I'm very happy that your appointment went so well today!! :)

It sounds like you are in good hands....they are being very thorough which is great.

I'm glad you decided to see the Dr. first....the detox is very important and I'm glad that you've got that all set up and are going about it with all bases covered....and under the care of knowledgable Dr.'s.

I'm excited for you!! :)

ART - Please

Could one of you (Rachel??) please explain what ART is, or a link. I'd really appreciate it. You can PM me, or reply here - I'll check (assuming you don't generate 3 pages of forum overnight :)). OK - I give, I'll check even if you generate a few pages :) :)

ART is suggested as 1 of 3 alternative therapies for tendenosis.

Short summary: gluten-free-8 years now, DF/Egg/Nightshade free. Familial history of celiac, horrible sleep -drugs only & body pain (too many years of this now). Endo/Colon negative except for some off bacteria. For now negative IGenex Lyme and I'd like to deal with my shoulder pain - non invasive and no more drugs.

Thank you, Bob

Interesting scientificness, Rachel. Thank you.

Can you have them unscrew the lightbulb in the light that keeps coming on? We don't have to have inspections here. Good thing ... our van with 100k+ miles always has a light or two on ... it will honk the horn at random times while driving -- always an inappropriate time - it's absolutely hysterical! ... the automatic door won't open ... and now none of the interior lights work. It's an electronic nightmare ... but the engine is fine, so is the A/C, so who cares about the rest. With teenagers, I wish the radio didn't work. We only drive it when the whole family is together, so just once or twice per week, so it's just not worth fixing.

Hi Bob! I can vouch for his negative IGeneX test .... two positive bands, neither one Lyme specific. He knows that there can be false negatives. ART is actually a great idea for you, Bob. It will tell you what's wrong so you can quit guessing. Great idea.

Bob,

Heres a few links on ART.

Its actually not a treatment or a therapy....its an andvanced form of kinesiology in which the autonomic nervous sytem is tested for all sorts of things which may be causing your illness. They identify those things with ART. They can then determine what medications or supplements will be most effective to treat what they find. In my experience its a highly accurate test....its accuracy does rely on the skills of the practitioner.

A good ART practitioner can determine what it is exactly that is causing a disturbance or imbalance in your body. They look for the infections, the metals, all sorts of things...they also look for Lyme and all co-infections.

Good luck Andrea, I'll be thinking of you guys hoping all goes well.

Everything went well at the appointment. S was done first. He was tested to see if he cleared the last LED session and he had. Then he was put on the Chi machine. He's not real fond of that. :P While he was on that T was tested to see if she had cleared and she hadn't. Then they put her on the Chi machine while S had his treatment. He had BXT and 245T done and T had a repeat of the HepB and then the MEK. She's in pain tonight, even worse than the Sulfa group. I'm hoping she can get to sleep and sleep peacefully. We are also hoping this clears so we won't have to repeat it on Friday.

I asked about the foods and she said she was taught 2 hours before and 52 hours after but she's going to check into it before we have those done next week.

I also asked about the cavitations testing. She said they can do that with ART or something else (can't remember).

Not fun with traffic today but Mitch saved me from a traffic nightmare. He was coming southbound and listening to the radio traffic reports. He tried to call me but missed me by about 5 minutes (we don't have cell phones). He was trying to guess where I'd be and hoping he could get far enough south to turn around and wait for me at an exit.....mind you he's in a maxi flatbed truck (two trailers). He was waiting for quite awhile. When I saw him I had to scoot over a couple lanes then took the shoulder. He told me there was a 13 mile backup just up ahead a couple miles and I'd never make the appointment if I continued that way. I took the next exit and turned around. There is another highway that runs parallel to the interstate so I took that. We had left with time to spare to hit WF but with traffic....didn't make it.

I just got back from my doctor's appointment. I have spent most of my day there!

Sounds like a great appointment Ami. I'm so glad you found a good team of doctors.

I had a chance to do that thermal imaging thing several years back, I could kick myself for not taking advantage of the opportunity, it sounds neat.

I need to have that done........haven't looked into the cost and don't have the money right now. My doctor prefers that to mammograms.

ART - Please

Rachel already answered you, but I think I read somewhere that you were moving to Oregon.....was that Portland? If so, the practitioner I'm seeing is in Bellevue WA.....about 4 hours from Portland (maybe 3 1/2).

Hey all. I am reading along, just no energy to post. Doing okay, just busy.

I like the 6 month updates. Since I went downhill from 6 months ago and just starting back up I'll update later when I am a bit more stable. Taking a LOT of stuff right now.

https://nationalceliac.org/celiac-disease-questions/do-wheat-grass-and-barley-grass-contain-gluten/?srsltid=AfmBOooHiK6XbdFHxpzQXFd6wsQkDSdJIXvaFnhQ7EwECIWFuGQnWivp I find this helpful. I will update you on what the company says but most likely will choose one of their products without the wheat and barley grass. Overall, I think the other powders should be safe and I will try them.

It’s great to hear that you’re feeling better overall since going gluten-free, but I can understand how these new menstrual symptoms are frustrating and confusing. Hormonal fluctuations and changes in your cycle after a celiac diagnosis are not uncommon. When the body starts healing from prolonged inflammation and malabsorption, it can affect hormones, particularly those involved in your menstrual cycle. Additionally, going gluten-free can improve overall health, which might shift your hormone balance and alter your cycles. Delayed or irregular periods, cramping, and other new symptoms may be part of your body’s adjustment process, especially if your antibodies are still trending downward. While it’s reassuring that your labs are normal and serious conditions like PCOS or thyroid issues have been ruled out, these symptoms might take time to stabilize. You could also explore whether stress, diet changes, or other factors might be contributing. If things don’t improve soon, you might want to revisit your OBGYN to discuss hormone-specific testing, such as estrogen, progesterone, and cortisol levels, to check for imbalances. In the meantime, tracking your symptoms and cycles closely could help you and your doctors identify patterns or triggers. Hang in there—healing can take time, but you’re on the right path!

I noticed on the label: https://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/product/whole-foods-market-organic-wheatgrass-powder-california-73-ounce-b07g333x4y that it says "Contain Wheat Ingredients," which probably means that it can include the protein from the wheat kernels/seeds.
    • Scott Adams
Pure wheatgrass is gluten-free, however, there can be issues when they make it because the kernel/seeds can get mixed into the grass that is harvested, and then ground up in the powder. I've seen this firsthand when Jamba Juice used to cut the wheat grass in front of you (maybe they still do this), and put it in the juicer--they often included seeds that had been pushed up by the growth of the grass. In general, to be on the safe side, I think it's best to avoid wheat and barley grasses.

I meant to specify it was an Orgain product. They have several options to choose from.
