Palm Pilot Question

I just received a palm pilot and am loading it with software and such. I am going to buy Clan Thompsons list but not sure which one to get. Is is worth getting a subsription? Are there that many changes in a year....?

Does anybody find that the subscription is worth the extra money?

Thanks for any input.

There are updates every couple months, I have found the subscriptions worthwhile sofar. I have to say I use the food lists more than the drug lists though, its got more stuff in it.

I like the subscription too...as elonwy said, there are quite a few updates a year. I don't use the drug one...b/c what I take rarely changes and I can just contact the manufacturer.

I subscribe to the year plan and have found both the food and drug list very helpful. As the others have stated they update the lists every 3-4 months and sometimes the changes are pretty significant. I highly recommend paying the extra money as reading a list that is 6 months to a year old could have out dated information and cause you to ingest gluten as manufacturers often change ingredients or suppliers.

I hope that you find your palm and the smart lists as helpful as I have.

I am not taking anything except for the multivitamins that I purchased from the supermarket.

The critic acid and sodium citrate is corn unfortunately and they don’t have to label corn because it’s not part of the top 9 allergen and not mandatory 😭

Yaya, from the JAMA study you refer to: "Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity." No one on this forum is recommending  taking anywhere near that amount. We're talking about 5-10,000IU daily.

"Doses higher than the RDA are sometimes used to treat medical problems such as vitamin D deficiency, but these are given only under the care of a doctor for a specified time frame. Blood levels should be monitored while someone is taking high doses of vitamin D." Quoted from the Healthline article @Yaya linked above...
