Mcdonalds Hamburgers...

I was just looking on the McDonalds Site, and I wanted to download their most recent gluten-free list, and I noticed that it now says under "hamburger" an "x" for Gluten... I am HOPING this is just b/c of the bun, but the patty itself is nowhere listed on this list. I believe my old list had it listed seperatly... I am nervous b/c I ate there last night :o

Does anyone know what's the story with this new list?

The patty is still listed on their gluten free list. You are fine. I'm sure they are just taking the bun into account on their allergen list as buns have wheat :) You may want to use the gluten free list in the future.

Thank you so much!! This is the one I had from awhile ago... but for some reason couldn't find it today on their site!! Thanks for the link!

It may also help to note that Burger King's patties (at least for the whopper) are gluten-free, as well as their fries (though the chicken nugget tray is a little close to the fry tray for my comfort in many places).

I'd double check on your local Burger King and A&W's. Neither of those restaurants closest to us use dedicated fryers for the fries.

I second that. One time, they promised it was a dedicated frier and my cousin found an onionring in his fries.

Was the blood draw made while you were still consuming regular amounts of gluten and had been doing so for at least a period of months? Getting blood antibody tests after already having embarked on a gluten free diet or even limiting gluten consumption will invalidate testing.

In addition to regular lipid blood tests, I took some celiac tests last eeek and these are the results: 1. Celiac - Deamidated Gliadin IgG - 34.5 U/mL - Above range  2. Celiac - Deamidated Gliadin IgA - <1.0  - Normal 3. Celiac - Tissue Transglutaminase IgG - <1.0  - Normal 4. Celiac - Tissue Transglutaminase IgA - <1.0  - Normal 5. Immunoglobulin A IgA - 143 mg/dL - Normal What does the above results mean? What next steps can I take to diagnose if I have celiac or NCGS or something else?

So I got curious and looked up the address of Global Food and found that their listed address is the EXACT same as the Roastery Coast nuts, the original product that I found the Global Food Gluten Free Certification on. Global Food and Roastery Coast are the same company. I'm seriously cracking up at how sketchy it is.  ROASTERY COAST OFFICE 40222 La Quinta LN B102  Palmdale, CA 93551   Global Food Office Address: 40222 La Quinta LN, STE B-102Palmdale, CA 93551   Business Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm   Telephone: 661-977-2300   Email: info@globalfoodcert.org
