Tortellini And Ravioli

I've had the taste for some ravioli or tortellini and can not find any gluten free varieties. Does ANYONE have any ideas????

This fall one of my projects is to start working on a gluten-free toasted ravioli, which I am going to ahve to make from scratch, I'm sure that will be a costly experiment, but I am going to be seriously deprived if I can't ever eat another toasted ravioli. But I'd rather not wait till then if I can find something to tide me over. Any suggestions????? Mail order??????

Thanks!

what is a toasted ravoli? I have had them boiled and baked, but not toasted...I keep thinking of toasted marshmallows...

I had some fried once. Everybody around me loved them, but I was, eh...

it's a St. Louis thing. THey are breaded and sometimes fried or you can bake them. Filled with a meat mixture and then you dip into marinara.

Olive Garden used to have some, but they weren't very good. The fresh ones you get in St. Louis are incredible!! I grew up on them, one of my favorite treats and I have got to figure out how to make them gluten-free.

So it doesn't look like anyone knows where to order gluten-free tortellini or ravioli.....bummer......

I am not taking anything except for the multivitamins that I purchased from the supermarket.

The critic acid and sodium citrate is corn unfortunately and they don’t have to label corn because it’s not part of the top 9 allergen and not mandatory 😭

Yaya, from the JAMA study you refer to: "Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity." No one on this forum is recommending  taking anywhere near that amount. We're talking about 5-10,000IU daily.

"Doses higher than the RDA are sometimes used to treat medical problems such as vitamin D deficiency, but these are given only under the care of a doctor for a specified time frame. Blood levels should be monitored while someone is taking high doses of vitamin D." Quoted from the Healthline article @Yaya linked above...
