Jalapeno's In Annapolis

If anyone is in the Annapolis area, Jalapeno's is very willing to work with you so that you have a great experience. It was recommended to me, so last week we tried it. Their tortilla chips are baked, so I was able to have the chips and salsa (really good). They have great margarita's...but the food!!! It is mostly seafood, but it was great. The manager seemed to be knowlegeable about celiac and the way the food is prepared. Our waitress was really helpful; if she didn't know the answer to a question 100%, she would go ask. I felt completely comfortable there and can't wait to go back.

If you like mexican food, give it a try! :P

Was in Annapolis for the day and had dinner at Jalapenos. What a wonderful experience!! The margarita was the best I have had since leaving Texas and they even had a dessert I could eat.

(This is actually a mix of Spanish and Mexican food, complete with several choices of Paella!)

I am not taking anything except for the multivitamins that I purchased from the supermarket.

The critic acid and sodium citrate is corn unfortunately and they don’t have to label corn because it’s not part of the top 9 allergen and not mandatory 😭

Yaya, from the JAMA study you refer to: "Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity." No one on this forum is recommending  taking anywhere near that amount. We're talking about 5-10,000IU daily.

"Doses higher than the RDA are sometimes used to treat medical problems such as vitamin D deficiency, but these are given only under the care of a doctor for a specified time frame. Blood levels should be monitored while someone is taking high doses of vitamin D." Quoted from the Healthline article @Yaya linked above...
