Hey lister, I'm sorry about your sister I hope she and you are feeling better soon...

wow, i really dont know whats going on withmyself anymore

I felt like i was doing great - the stomic burning and gurgaling(doctor put me on prilosec to see if that would help, i have to wait tell payday because i cant afford it right now) is happening less offten and without the meds yet. but lately it seems like my instestines are always talking, like i can feel pushing in them and like fart noises and feelings, but coming from inside me all the time, plus im getting cysts in random spots hope those are not bad, i got a lump on my chest thats hard and my girlfriend says its a cyst, i have one on my back also and one on my thigh ( never had these before) and these past few days it feels like my mind is detached from my vision (like a mild stoned feeling all the time) but i quit smoking the greens about a month ago now so i know its not because of greens.... ugh i wish i could just feel perfectly "normal" for a day

Hi Lister,

I have had some experience with the 'mind fog' phenomena, though usually in association with accidental ingestion of gluten. I would recommend Piracetam as this has been helpful for many people with this condition as well as myself (you can purchase it on-line with no prescription). I doubt that the 'greens' are related in anyway and I would not be too concerned about using them occasionally (people here seem to have a negative view of this drug with no apparent explanation).

Sincerely,

Aaron

not sure if this is less of a scare or more of one, but i herd from one of my sisters friends, that the reason she was puking blood was not because of a blood clot disorder but that she was trying to OD on exedrin and took 12 on a empty stomich, dont know if thats true or not though

The time I mentioned the greens in a negative way it was supported by information on anxiety. It was the website (several of them) that mentioned the connection between greens and anxiety, not me!! Lister seems to suffer very badly from anxiety ...

ANXIETY!!! Lister, it might be worth calling that primary care doc and asking for an anxiety prescription. He's seen you before, you already owe him money ... maybe he'll give you one over the phone. Between your illness and your sister, you really need something ... and it probably won't cost as much as the prep for your endo!

Lister Rising Star

well i started my aciphex today (finally got the balls to just take them- -plus i really want to do anything i can do at this point to get better) dont know if they are gonna help or not still having some stomic pains but acualy not so sever as normal, but now i have heartburn (never did, but now that im taking a anti-heartburn med i get it lol the irony) and the aciphex seems to give me a nice pounding headace in my left side of my head,, but o well i just want my stomic to be normal

no new news on my sister yet.. as far as i can tell it sounds like a atempted suicide and it would not surpise me

Sorry for all of this, Lister--I'm keeping you in my thoughts! :)

well yay..... I HATE THE HOSPITAL........ So, when someone applys for finacial service help and they get accepted all you get in the mail is a slip that says you get 100% chairty write off, well ok to that, you would naturaly assum that meens they cover all hospital expensis.... well today i just got a letter from collections for $400, aparently the doctor i saw at the ER was not included in the write off... THEY REALLY SHOULD TELL U WHAT THEY ARE SPECIFICALY GOING TO COVER... now i have debt i did not know about is that not the most awsome doggone thing in the world and to top off the icecream bowl, i just got a bill from the endoscopy center for 900 for my stig, i was told was going to be $100 written off, and since i did not get off work until 4pm i cant call either places in the hopes to fix all of this, but from where im standing it looks like im doggone screwed... so much for getting my life back on track... man andi have been in such a good doggone mood lately too this really ruined it.... now im stressed and my stomic hurts ( o yeah looks like my life does effect my symptoms) because i have been fairly fine all day until this.... GHGHIOGPHJIGGHGHLI"GGJGGHLI"GLH"IGOHI"G - that was anger

Lister, don't make yourself sick over medical bills. Get your life on track. Put eating, rent, and school cost before doctor bills. The collection agencies might drive you nuts, but just don't answer the phone. Pay what you can really afford. You need an education so you can get out of this mess. Honestly, if pay all your living expenses (even Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, phone companies, electric companies, cell phone companies, etc. report you if you don't pay) other than the medical bills, by the time you finish your GED and community college (I think that's what you said a while back that you wanted to do), those bills will be far down on your record. Just be sure everything else is good! Also, you can finally pay them off several years down the line to improve your credit rating once you have a better job.

You can still get your life back on the track you want. Everyone will understand that you had health issues you couldn't afford when you were young. Just be sure it's the only spot on your record.

Lister Rising Star

its just so frustrating because my life was almost on track. Besides for this sickness thats slowly making me deterate, i had a game plan... my credit line right now is still perfect infact my credit cards limit just went up thats how good im doing.. i had the remaing dx bills organized and set up so i would be paid off by the end of this year so i could start a new year completly debt free, but now this just comes in and smacks me in the face.. i was so close to having my life back under controle.. plus if they dont wave the endo bill like they said they will then that meens i can never go thru with the colonoscopy or endoscopy becasue i definatly cant afford to pay for those.. i thought it was all free thats what they fricking told me....

on a plus side i got insentive items from work today for doing a good job- 2 blockbuster cards for 2 free movie rents 2 free sodas and 2 freee tubs of popcorn.. too bad i cant have the pop corn or sodas and that im permanitly banned from the blockbustr in town for breaking there window 3 years ago .... o well it was a nice gesture i guess

Lister carla is right don't stress it too badly. All you need to do is make an effort to throw whatever you can afford down on these collections. As long as you make arrangements to pay them something and stick to it they will work with you. Do not the collectors bully you or stress you out more, don't argue with them. Tell them what you can pay and pay it thats all you need to do, even if its only 20 bucks a month that will at least show an effort on your part to pay the debt and they can't do anything about it.

Even if it's only 5 or 10 per month!

Get your girlfriend to rent the movie!! Get the popcorn and sodas and give them as a gift to someone.

Lister Rising Star

would my girlfriend has $30 late fee from them so only my account is active.. well probably not active, i really dont know they probably closed it but not like i can go in there and find out. wish it was for hollywood :P

CarlaB Enthusiast

Package it all up, wrap it nicely, and give it to someone for Christmas! At least if you can't enjoy it, it can save you the cost of a Christmas gift! Buy the popcorn and soda, then wrap it with the movie coupons.

not sure but i think this may be from the aciphex.. but i cant move my leg like at all. last night i could not fully extend my leg because it felt like a air bubble in my knee was going to pop, this morning its much worse but now i cant bend my knee, i had to bike to get to work today and by the time i got there i was literaly in tears as to how much it hurt my knee... man why i cant bend over or anything .. plus to top off my morning, the cats are having a dominate issuse one of them keeps covering up the litter and the water bowls with cloths so the other cat cant use it but unfortunatly the cat thats doing it is so stupid he coverd up there litter box then needed to use it so crapped on my floor.... the cats my roommates cat my cat is perfectly behaved.../.

What you are describing all points to a massive yeast overgrowth. The overgrowth will get worse with any introduction of prescribed medication, unless it is an antifungal. Ask your doctor to put you on Diflucan or another antifungal as soon as possible. If he wont, then start eating raw garlic!!! You need to kill the yeast and flush your system as you do. Drink tons of water!! I mean gallons of water, and AVOID SUGAR! No soda, no refined sugar of any kind until you have it under control.

CarlaB Enthusiast

You're probably right, Kris.

I avoided all refined carbohydrates to get rid of mine. It's best if you eat only meat, veggies, and eggs, some brown rice maybe, ocassionally some potatoes. But avoid the carbs. You'll be dying to eat them because the yeast will be starving off and telling your body it needs them, but don't feed the yeast.

Coconut oil is also good to rid yourself of them, you can use it like butter on your veggies. Lots of garlic and onions. No sugar or alcohol.

i really think if its a yeast problem they would have found it alreaedy

docs don't find yeast problems, it's the alternative guys who do.

@ABP2025, Here's some studies and articles that will help you learn more about thiamin and all... I will write more later. Interesting you mention MCAS. I have come across mcas before but I wasn’t entirely sure if that’s what it was. When I eat certain food like dairy or soy my face gets so hot and I feel flush and my heart rate shoot’s up. And sometimes my bottom lip swells or I get hives somewhere. This started happening after I had a really bad case of Covid.  Before that I was able to eat all those things (minus gluten) I was diagnosed with celiac way before I had Covid.  Hmm, not sure really. I may look for a different allergist my current one told me to take Zyrtec and gave me an epi pen.

This is all really useful information, thank you so much to you both.    I have a history of B12 and vit D deficiency which has always just been treated and then ignored until it’s now again.

Welcome to the forum, @Gill.brittany8! There are two main genes that have been identified as creating potential for developing celiac disease, HLDQ2 and HLDQ8. Your daughter has one of them. So, she possesses genetic the potential to develop celiac disease. About 40% of the general population carries one or both of these genes but only about 1% of the general population develops celiac disease. It takes both the genetic potential and some kind of triggering stress factor (e.g., a viral infection or another prolonged health problem or an environmental factor) to "turn on" the gene or genes. Unfortunately, your daughter's doctor ordered a very minimal celiac antibody panel, the tTG-IGA and total IGA. Total IGA is not even a test per celiac disease per se but is a check for IGA deficiency. If the person being checked for celiac disease is IGA deficient, then the scores for individual IGA tests (such as the tTG-IGA) will be abnormally low and false negatives can often be the result. However, your daughter's total IGA score shows she is not IGA deficient. You should consider asking our physician for a more complete celiac panel including DGP-IGA, TTG_IGG and DGP-IGG. If she had been avoiding gluten that can also create false negative test results as valid antibody testing requires having been consuming generous amounts of gluten for weeks leading up to the blood draw. Do you know if the GI doc who did the upper GI took biopsies of the duodenum and the duodenum bulb to check for the damage to the small bowel lining caused by celiac disease? Having said all that, her standard blood work shows evidence of possible celiac disease because of an elevated liver enzyme (Alkaline Phosphatase) and low values for hemoglobin.
    • Gill.brittany8
Hi everyone  After years of stomach issues being ignored by doctors, my 9 y/o daughter finally had an upper endoscopy which showed a ton of stomach inflammation. The GI doctor ordered some bloodwork and I’m attaching the results here. Part will be from the CBC and the other is celiac specific. I’m not sure what’s relevant so I’m just including extra information just in case.   The results are confusing because they say “No serological evidence of celiac disease. tTG IgA may normalize in individuals with celiac disease who maintain a gluten-free diet. Consider HLA DQ2 and DQ8 testing to rule out celiac disease.” But just a few lines down, it says DQ2 positive. Can someone help make sense of this? Thanks so much.  result images here: https://ibb.co/WFkF0fm https://ibb.co/kHvX7pC https://ibb.co/crhYp2h https://ibb.co/fGYFygQ
