Just a quick poop-in Sillies, have had my wee little niece for the last 2 days.

Jess!! Sleeping in is 6:30 for you?!?!?! Science must begin before the sunrise I suppose

Joooooles is looking for an Ottawa Senators game......anywhere.......

Hee hee

Well I'll tell you the NHL Network has been an evil find for me (deliciously evil of course  ) I have discovered it re-airs games the next day was able to see that Sens/Capitals game after all :D

 I DID! 'twas quite lame, in fact, I nearly GUFFAWED out loud at several of the pieces - only 19 allowed in a juried selection of over 180 pieces submitted - wanted to know why in hell they picked these 19 :huh:

Wish to hell he didn't stink so much and also stink up my house so much

Furry peanuts coming off soon - - may help smell

Glad you got out and about Sooze :) ....even though it was lame and guffawed filled

Furry peanuts

Apparently, I'm a prostitute as well. I think that thing is rigged.....

I had a lovely evening last night of watching my boyfriend's brother lose his basketball game and then we made a milk run. Gee.

On the bright side, we had lasagna for dinner and watched my new favorite comedian, Steve Byrne. I love Net flix, they have a watch-online feature for a lot of stuff, and lots of comedians. I love comedians, they make me laugh..... duh.....

Bunnie had a fun-filled night of basketball, lasagne, milk, and comedy

Yes, it does seem odd the majority of us are prostitutes

Sillies, I started reading the Twilight series and I'm crazy hooked!!! Finished the first book in two nights (up way too late both nights cuz I couldn't bring myself to put it down).......off to get the other three books this afternoon :D

I SO hear your laughter in this scenario, Soooooze. Sometimes I will stand and look at a newly acquired (read: $$$$$) work in the Modern section of the National Art Gallery, caught midway between a loud, screeching guffaw and a scream of disbelief/anger/astonishment.. .. . . . we are often being had....."A million bucks for THOSE SQUIGGLES??" Same here! He doesn't seem to understand why he can't put me in other classes.......why my student requires an assistant all day. She can hear people when they talk to her, because of her hearing aids, but they don't realize how much she actually misses, and fakes it. I am just biding my time until next year when I follow her to the middle school.

Janet's running nose!!!!!........sven credit if you can catch it!

Hi, Patti!! :):) Been missing you. . . . wondering how everything is. . . . hope you're all okay. . . . .

Me neither.......not at ALL.....can not stand vampire movies..........but neither were my co-workers. But still don't know why they are so captured by the book.

I have spoken to three or four forty-year old women who have become enthralled with this series, and I've asked them the reason, as I have always considered it 15-year-old-girl material.....they spoke at great length of the vampire boy/man, and how he enraptures middle-aged female readers with his physical/emotional perfection and his hint of dangerous blood-sucking erotica. . . ...

Must say, I'm no vampire enthusiast meselph. . . ......

I also got some flea meds 'cause we all have fleas. I just put some OTC stuff on Lefty (that doesn't work) so I asked how long I should wait before applying the prescription stuff. She very calmly started telling me I could use Dawn dish soap to wash it off and...

I started laughing and said 'that's not gonna happen'.

Awful dern quiet around here, Sills. Guess you all exhausted yerselves whilst dethroning me last weekend, you STINKERS <_<

but SILLIES!!!!!!!!!!!! I have orchard news, we've just returned from a walk....would you like the good news or bad news first????????????

okay - good news!!!!!!!!!! I think??????????? In one of the fields, rows have been made and deep holes dug at regular (8 or 10 feet) intervals...............ALL SIGNS POINT TO

MORE TREES BEING PLANTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

♣♠

:) :) :)

dare I think it? Is it really going to happen, trees, and not shopping centers or houses???????

okay - now for the bad news........and I"m sorry this is so long, but in case I"m found murdered you all need to know about this.

there is a HORRIBLE couple with three yipping dogs that lives along one edge of the orchard on the other side of the fence. Weezee and these dogs go NUTS after each other in a psycho-barking-mad-evil-running-dust-flying-hair-raised attack EVERY TIME we go that way, with the fence separating them. Well, we quit going that way quite a long time ago and reversed our route as these people, both the man and the wife, have literally shrieked CURSE words and horrible things at both Annie and me at least 6 or 8 times in these past four years :(

But Weez gets too excited sometimes now, and runs SPEEDING along without me toward these dogs, despite my screaming and URGENT pleas for her to come back.

So today, the woman stands up and leans over the fence AGAIN, screaming at us so horribly. Yelling "oh, it's YOU again and your f-ing dog, GET THE F*** out of here you b!tch"

etc. etc. :o:(

I am more than 200 feet away so she can't really see me, though we've made eye contact over a year ago........

so this time I said something stupid like "you know, I have verbal permission (I actually do) from (insert name), the owner of this orchard, to walk my dog here" (really stupid response)

and she SCREAMS "did he give you permission to have your dog come over here and do this?" (as if they're doing anything other than what dogs would normally do  )

to which I replied: "your dogs have the same reaction whether my dog's on a leash or not"

 (totally lame)

and she screams at the top of her lungs: "CALL YOUR DOG!!!!!!!!"

so I yell, in my MOST serious and urgent and deepest tone "COME ANNIE"

and she does not, she just stands there, confused.

and this beeoch MIMICS me in a whining tone, like a child! So unbelievably ugly - -

- and Weez is STILL STANDING THERE - totally does NOT mind me in this situation, normally an EXTREMELY obedient dog....and the woman yells - "OH, really smart dog you have there" and lets out an ugly cackle.

So I just yelled, as loud as I could and in the deepest tone possible -

"you are a horrible person!!!!!!!! a really horrible person......" and walked away, praying to God Annie would come....it took her a while and I am worried these people would actually do something to harm her.....you never know. :(

:o

Sillies, I was shaking as we left.........kept turning around to see if they'd come after me - I think they drink a lot on weekends and - it's just sooooooo ugly - -

must keep Weez on a leash in certain parts there now - - do not EVER wish to encounter those people again.............

must have a glass of wine now.

Correct. I’m doing both in the same go though. Thanks for clarifying before I confused someone. I’m doing a colonoscopy for something else and then they added the endoscopy after the test.
    • trents
It is a biopsy but it's not a colonoscopy, it's an endoscopy.
    • Skg414228
Well I’m going on the gluten farewell tour so they are about to find out lol. I keep saying biopsy but yeah it’s a scope and stuff. I’m a dummy but luckily my doctor is not.
    • trents
The biopsy for celiac disease is done of the small bowel lining and in conjunction with an "upper GI" scoping called an endoscopy. A colonoscopy scopes the lower end of the intestines and can't reach up high enough to get to the small bowel. The endoscopy goes through the mouth, through the stomach and into the duodenum, which is at the upper end of the intestinal track. So, while they are scoping the duodenum, they take biopsies of the mucosal lining of that area to send off for microscopic analysis by a lab. If the damage to the mucosa is substantial, the doc doing the scoping can often see it during the scoping.
    • Skg414228
Yeah I had zero thoughts on celiac it was an ibs referral. She suspected celiac when she started questioning me and I already needed a colonoscopy which I guess is why she didn’t care that I had been fairly gluten free up to that point. Because they would have just done the biopsy when doing the colonoscopy. I don’t know we will see just figured I’d put that info on the forum in case someone finds it interesting later. I’ll update in April when I find out.
