Well, I am a Christian, and that stuff is just discusting to me. I mean, it's natural and stuff, but the way people use it... A lot of stuff on this thread bothers be sometimes, but I'm willing to tolerate it for some of the laughs I get!

Well, everyone has something that bugs them. I'm horrified by the machine gun references, but I understand that people see things in different ways and if someone can find a way to make guns funny, then more power to them. We need more laughter in the world.

Many of us are Christians .... potty humor isn't morally wrong, you may not find it funny, but it's not un-Christian.

In fact, the Bible has some of the funniest stories! There's one about a guy leaning against a tree and a bird poops in his eye ... he loses his sight from it (that part is not funny).

God definately has a sense of humor.

Yeah, you can say that again. I just think it's discusting to be joking about this kinda stuff. And about the homosexuals, sex, things like that. I try to tolerate it, but... yeah. Some of the stuff is really funny. (what is with teh yeti?)

I am so glad everyone has a sense of humor about different things. I think that alone is what gets us through the day. I enjoy the humor we have in my office at work, and I enjoy the humor on this thread. Both are humor in different ways but I still walk away laughing.

So here is a funny picture for you all. We went to Red Robin for lunch at work today....to celebrate an Un-birthday...or so I was led to believe. Turns out they had a surprise bridal shower for me. Anyway, there was a mess of balloons and all, and now my big Coon cat is tangled up in them since he was playing with the strings. It is such a funny picture :)

that's awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Our (my hubby and i) anniversary is next week (3 years0 and I would LOVE to have our wedding all over again! So much fun!

I 100% percent agree! The priest at our church right now always tells a joke or funny story before his sermon. Laughter is a gift. Laughter has been a huge help to me in the last year of my life, not to mention this last week while I was suffering the consequences of a glutening. It think it's great that different people have different types of sense of humour.

I worked as a lifeguard while in high school and this rule was unfortunately broken way too many times.

Amanda, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! You must be very excited. My fiance and I are hoping to get married early next year. Do you have a honeymoon planned?

Oh, boy :rolleyes: ....I'm a piece of work. In the context of this thread, I find it all hilarious: machine guns, yetis and their poop, T-bagging, 38 longs, Gay Chuck and the gang... nothing disgusts me.

Honeymoon plans are Cape May for 2 days

Our Maine Coon is actually a Maine Coon mix of some sort, he is 1 and 1/2 and he is huge! He weighs about 14 lbs. He is so loveable.

Now he is sitting in the window watching rabbits in the side yard of our walk-though. I am sitting on my bed....its football night and John is rooting on the NYG, his favorite team.

Well, Light, looks like it's just me & you. I'm not disgusted by it, but it just usually seems too easy, humor-wise.

LOL I *did* laugh at the CareBear's rainbow cloud fart tho. So if it's creative enough, I'll laugh, but most of the time I'm not particularly amused. It's just too EASY!!

<next one to proffer a simple fart joke has to shampoo the Yeti!!>

I absolutely believe that it's genetic. In my case, I got it from my father, who I think may hold the record for the longest fart in the history of the world. Or at least since Chuck Norris last had beanie wienies.

But to my recollection, I've only seen this one with her holding a glass of wine. So now I have a picture of her in my head of her Larry King interview while holding her glass of wine. In fact that is how I always picture Susie . . . because thats the only picture I've seen. Holding a glass of wine while she does her yard work. Holding a glass of wine while she walks the Dingos. Holding a glass of wine while rummaging through her trash. And sometimes I think . . . "Susie! You really shouldn't be drinking at 8:00 in the morning! Put down the glass of wine for Pete's sake!" :o:lol:

You should see the rock climbing ones, it's quite a skill to climb AND carry the glass of wine without spilling a drop.

Speaking of farts... You know how everyone (well everyone who thinks farts are funny ;) talks about the bathtub farts? Well, my son Ezra has actually done this, when he was 3 years old and I fell right over I laughed so hard. He was giggling, but I was dying like it was the funniest thing in the world- and then the smell hit! 3 years old and in the bubble bath all sweet and adorable, and suddenly these NOT SO LAVENDER SCENTED BUBBLES whoosh up.

My hubby heard the whole thing from the living room and was like... Was that what I think it was? Oh God I was incapacitated, I was laughing so hard.

By the way... :ph34r: Christian farts are funnier. :o

      Do you have the standard range for the test results you received? A level of anti-tTG2 antibodies at least 10x the standard range is almost certainly (>98%) due to coeliac disease. Moderately raised levels can be caused by other conditions as well as coeliac disease. Accuracy of the No-Biopsy Approach for the Diagnosis of Celiac Disease in Adults: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis It is possible to have latent or early stage coeliac disease without histological changes visible by microscope. As has been suggest in this thread, if the repeat test comes up negative and serology is high, request an HLA genetic test from your specialist. Only 40 % of the population carries an HLA gene variant enabling the development of coeliac disease - if you test negative for this, it is quite unlikely that you have coeliac disease.

I once saw an interview with a corporation executive where he proudly declared that his wheat products are more addictive than potato chips. Dr Fuhrman (Eat to Live) said find foods that are friendly to you to be friends with.

      Hi @CC90 Ah... that is very interesting.  Although it is very annoying for you to have to go through it all again, I would say that almost sounds like an admission that they didn't look far enough last time?   I could be wrong, but I would not be at all surprised if they find something on the next attempt.  Coeliac damage can be very patchy, as I understand it, so that's why my own gastroenterologist always likes to point out that he's taken lots of samples!  In the kindest possible way (you don't want to upset the person doing the procedure!) I'd be inclined to tell them what happened last time and to ask them in person to take samples lower down, as  if your health system is anything like the one in my country, communication between GPs, consultants and hospitals isn't always very good.  You don't want the same mistake to be made again. You say that your first endoscopy was traumatic?  May I ask, looking at your spelling of coeliac, was this done at an NHS hospital in England?  The reason for the question is that one of my NHS diagnosed friends was not automatically offered a sedative and managed without one.  Inspired by her, I tried to have an endoscopy one time, in a private setting, without one, so that I could recover quicker, but I had to request sedative in the end it was so uncomfortable.    I am sorry that you will have to go through a gluten challenge again but to make things easier, ensure you eat things containing gluten that you will miss should you have to go gluten free one day. 😂 I was told to eat 2 slices of normal wholemeal bread or the equivalent every day in the weeks before , but I also opted for Weetabix and dozens of Penguin chocolate biscuits.  (I had a very tight headache across my temple for days before the procedure, which I thought was interesting as I had that frequently growing up. - must have been a coeliac symptom!)  Anyway, I do hope you soon get the answers you are looking for and do keep us posted.       Hi Cristiana   Yes I've had the biopsy results showing normal villi and intestinal mucosa.  The repeat endoscopy (requested by the gastro doc) would be to take samples from further into the intestine than the previous endoscopy reached.

      Transglutaminase IgA is the gold-standard blood test for celiac disease. Sensitivity of over 90% and specificity of 95–99%. It rarely produces false positives.  An elevated level means your immune system is reacting to gluten.  Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (NCGS) does not typically cause high levels of tTG-IgA. Unfortunately the protocols for a diagnosis of Celiac Disease are aimed at proving you don't have it, leaving you twisting in the wind. Genetic testing and improvement on a trial gluten free diet, also avoiding milk protein, will likely show improvement in short order if it is Celiac; but will that satisfy the medical system for a diagnosis? If you do end up scheduling a repeat endoscopy, be sure to eat up to 10 grams of gluten for 8 - 12 weeks.  You want  to create maximum damage. Not a medical opinion, but my vote is yes.
