As per usual on Sat me boiler broke down (bored wiv that ) ..landlords policy, do NOT replace, only repair

Me Dad phoned in the evening to tell me that my Mum had been rushed into hospital. She had passed out and smashed up her face, knocked 2 teeth out as well (this occurred in the afternoon - he didn't ring 'til late 'cos he 'didn't want to worry me' :exasperatedsigh:

She's ok - they didn't establish why she passed out (except that her blood pressure dropped through the floor when she stood up).... &needs a visit to the dentist

..but it's rattled me somewhat. She looked so frail, battered and bruised

Meanwhile, had a massive row wiv DC ( I can't wait 'til he's old enough to move out )

Also had a row wiv me FIL (Evil old troll )

RACHELLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need a mug of that stuff!!

Oh Nik, I'm so sorry about yer mum's fall...I understand how shaken up you had to be seeing her like that People mean the best when they "don't want to worry us" but yeah, it's frustrating. Several years ago, my MIL was in Florida and became so ill she had to be taken to the hospital--ended up having a kidney removed. Didn't call any of her kids for the same reason--a nurse in the ICU called Mark's sister.

I hope the the landloard gets his behind over there and gets that boiler in working order, yer FIL puts a sock in it, and M grows up and matures enough to realize how lucky he is to have a mum like you.

Moan all you want--yer among phriends--and yeah, by all means have a snort of sumphin strong. Can't hurt

The only way I'm leaving this hospital is if he gets transferred, then I'm quitting altogether! That's my stipulation for him being transferred!!

I get paid too well so BS wif my dirty-minded corrupt boys for 8 out of 12 work hours.... Plus, we have daycare onsite, so I can see Max anytime I want!! PLUS, free healthcare for the whole fam!!!

sooo a couple months ago I decided I was eating too much cheese, and pretty much gave up all dairy (even the Bailey's :ph34r: ). I'm sad to report that I feel fantastic , well, up until last weekend when I had a latte with milk and felt quite right since, but that will pass.

So now I have added dairy to my list of should not eat and what I want to know is: why isn't broccoli on these lists?? Or brussel sprouts? Why am I chucking out all the fun stuff to eat? This is like some diabolical plan to make everyone so irritated with eating that we all snap and go postal (pastal?) I'd be a whole lot grouchier if I wasn't so thrilled about feeling good.
