SARAH. :( :( :(

I am in shock and deep pain for you. Please hang in there. Please hold on. Take refuge at your parents. Come on here and vent. You have my prayers, and the prayers of many on here.

I am just so sorry, but Patti's right, you ARE a strong and tenacious girl. I know you are blinded by pain and shock at this time.....please take care of yourself.

many, many hugs and prayers for you. Going to have a prayer session now about many things, in fact, while waiting for the guy from AT&T.

Hold on.....hold on tight. You are an amazing girl, an incredible mother, with a great talent for writing and storytelling, a great wit, an amazing sense of humor, and a tender heart.

God has you in the palm of His hand. :)

We are praying.

"Take refuge at your parents. "

Sarah, I as mentioned in my PM to you, I am familiar with North Carolina Law. Do not leave your house, yourself or with you children.

Take refuge with your parents, but don't move out.

Jestgar Rising Star

Oh Sarah, I have no words. Cry and yell and scream and do whatever you need to let all the horror out. We're all here to hold your hand, and we'll all be there when you get to the other side.

this is a good point, Lisa......why would SHE have to move out? Seems that Brian should have to leave and let her stay there.

I can't stay. I could never afford to live here on my own, with no one to watch the kids while I work... I can't even stand looking around at this house that we struggled so hard for. Just seeing our toothbrushes together in a cup in the bathroom... Every time I think of it, more tears come... I trusted him so much... with everything... We've had problems... but I always believed we'd work through them because we loved each other. Now I know he doesn't feel that and hasn't for a long time.

I don't know how I'll ever get through this... the pain is so huge... the betrayal... I've never felt anything like it. It's... horror.

Everything I dreamed and imagined for our future is gone. I still love him, even now. I don't want this to happen. I'm crushed. He threw it all away. And I never saw it coming.

Patti has my email and can share it with everyone. I'll probably keep checking in as much as I can. I do have a great relationship with my parents. But I've never felt so alone and abandoned in my life.

Sarah- My heart truly is breaking for you right now. Please let us know what we can do- you know what we Psillies can do when we put our heads together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have a huge safety net of people you've never met, but care about you just as much as if we've been close neighbors for years. You're free-falling at the moment, but you'll never hit the ground. We are here for you.

Jess......this was wonderful

Sarah........your in all our thoughts and those of us who pray are doing that I'm sure.

Yes, free-falling is a good way to put it.

Please just go to stay with parents if you feel better there--- but don't move a thing out at this point......I so agree with this

Find where your comfortable, if the house is painful for you for this moment......your parents is a option till you can get your bearings.

Aren't there laws about him being required to support his children, including a place for them to live? Sarah, it's probably more than you can deal with right now, but maybe your mom can start checking into things. It sounds like MG Lisa has some knowledge already, maybe she can help your mom get started and point her towards where to look for more info.

Sarah--

We're all here for you--you're our friend--the exact same as if we lived down the block....Anything we can do to somehow make this easier on you, just name it.

Now is not the time for anything but putting one foot in front of the other and somehow getting through the day. You're on my mind constantly and my heart hurts.

Sarah-

Patti is right, we would do anything we could for you. I cannot keep thinking about you. Don't move anything out of that house yet. I wish i could be there to help in anyway I could, but even though we can't be there physically we are on there with you mentally.

Sillies-I am working from home today, we ended up at the vet's at 6am this morning, Landen too since he was sleeping over. Lucky has a blockage and we are forcing meds today. If all goes well it should pass, but if not we will have to have surgery.....

Poor Lucky....that's what Allo had, an intestinal blockage, when he had to have the IV fluids. He passed it on his own with the help of the extra fluids and a soft food that the vet gave us.

Did they suggest fluids first?

So I met afriend for lunch, and she drinks....frequently. We went to one of her favorite places, where she gets free beer, and apparently, by my association with her, I, too, am entitled to benefits.\

I got a mongo margarity that had just enough mango juice to make the tequila not quite clear.

and of course, I couldn't insult the bartender but not getting another one...

I have not had this much alcohol since...............

I don't evenb know when. ANd now I have to ptretend to work.

At least all I have is computer stuff.

seriously n i have not been intoxicate since I stopped gluten. It si so much more pleasont when it doesn't come witht he headach and the no brain power.

Ok Sillies....I need your prayers for someone else now, besides my poor kitty.

Landen needs your thoughts as well. He is currently at the hospital getting CT scan's done. He took a spill Friday night and hit his poor noggin off the corner of Jen's entertainment unit. I went down and checked him out for her since Becky was watching him, he was laughing and had a goose egg but otherwise fine, Jen was concerned but not overly worried since children do fall. Sunday this poor kid fell over backwards, he is learning to stand and can walk along furniture, well he has been attempting the solo stand and it didnt work out, he hit his head to the floor when he fell. This time Jen was with him. Neither time did he really cry or have any outward symptoms.

Well since Jen has noticed something odd....he seems to trance out. He wont blink and pinching a toe wont even stir him....You can call his name and he wont turn his head....It last sometimes 10-15 seconds. Well he spent the night with us last night, Jen was working. He slept fine, no problems there. Well on the way to the Vets this morning, he did the trance thing to me in the car. I had leaned back to check on him at a red light and he had his ring of keys toy in his mouth and was just sitting there looking off into space, not even chewing it was as if the toy was jus t resting on his lips. He wouldnt move his eyes or even blink as I called his name. I touched his toes nothing and then I waved a loud clangy toy in front of his face that I had up with me, and it was like he was oblivous to everything in his own little world....eventually he turned and looked at me and laughed as if nothing ever happened.

So Jen and I talked and she had not called the Dr thinking she was being overprotective and such and since is a a nurse on the Neuro unit she was just worried she was being paranoid. Well after alking to her Dr and he said it is possible Landen can have a small brain bleed she left for the ER. I heard from her last at 4 since they wanted to do a round of other tests....I just tried her again and got a voicemail, so I am hoping to at least get a text back.

So please add him to our prayer/thoughts list.

From Aunt Amanda and his Uncle John!!!

Thanks guys!

Hi, My six year old has been complaining of tingling in the legs off late. This used to be pretty common thing with her pre-diagnosis and a couple of weeks after the diagnosis as well. And now it is back again. I am not sure if it's a glutening symptom, or she could be deficient in something. I got her Pure Encapsulations' multivitamin capsule, which she is ok taking, but she began reacting to cellulose in the capsule. I don't know if I can just break the capsule and she could drink it in a smoothie. I haven't tried that yet, so do not know whether it'll be palatable to her.  If any of you know of a CGF multivitamin that do not contain any gums and are preferably free of citric acid, I'd greatly appreciate. Thank you.

It wasnt really eye catching, but they were small stains which looked like dried out liquid. I dont know if it was normal or shouldve been just completely clean. But if someone didnt pay attention, it wouldnt be noticeable.

If there were stains or particles on a drink can in an area that would either contact the drink or my lips, I would wash that can whether or not I had celiac disease.

You are on the money, but I should also add that Italian, French and other countries research shows exactly what I have said. Our FDA is behind the ball when it comes to this research and I am hopeful that Kennedy can straighten this out soon, albeit he is giving the food companies too long to just remove food dyes from our foods when in fact they have to remove all that in order to sell for example, in the UK as they aren't allowed such things. The food companies and the cola companies have also changed their formulas to have just sugar in them instead of corn gluten aka high fructose corn syrup and corn starch in them. Misinformation here in America is a very dangerous thing. I also have been grain free for a long time now and at no time can I even have the smallest amount of corn gluten -I recently got glutened from a supplement that claimed to be grain free yet upon further research I found that it had erythritol (corn sugar) in it and that is what got me sick for 7 days straight. I am not hopeful to ever be able to add back into my diet any of the grain glutens, but perhaps those who were only gluten intolerant might be able to, but for me being celiac, I have no hope in that. Thank you for the article, I will add it to my collection of research as I am collecting everything I can find on this subject and posting it on X as well as other places.  I also don't use psuedo grains i.e. quinoa as that also reacts negatively with my gut, so I am 100% a cassava/tapioca/arrow root girl and that is my go to bread replacement. There are some new items made with chicpea/green peas that are sold as rice alternatives, i bought one to try but haven't yet. So food companies are getting creative, but like you said, I am fresh whole foods and don't buy many processed foods, I make my own cheese, ketchup, pickles, jams, etc.

There were small spots (stains) on the drinking area at the top of the energy drinks can from the store that looked as the same color as milk — maybe oat milk (Hafermilch) or a wheat-based drink (Weizendrink), but I’m not sure what it was. There were also some particles that looked like either flour or dust, but not many. Could it have been a gluten-containing drink spilled onto the can or just regular small stains which I shouldn‘t worry about? Do you watch out for stuff like that or am I overthinking? Would it cause damage to a celiac?
