However, when this thread began 2 years ago- I went to the Topsfield fair and did this funky trampoline jumping-suspended by elastics-get up 30 feet in the air thing and then drank cosmos and the fair is here :lol:

Well, if you're sure you don't own any part of the company..... I was thinking since I emailed you-- and I think it was Paul Mitchel that I used a long time ago that had wheat starch. It may very well have changed since then, but it did state it clearly on the can. They also must have different formulas....

Hey Everyone-

Landen stayed with the old lady neighbor last night since her sitter had switched nights with us and canceled last minute...we were not home at the time. They also switched Jen's schedule so she must go into work at 3. so Landen will land at my house at 2--and I am viewing a home at 2:30. I might leave with the neighbor until I get back. Lately he has been very scared of men- well not John but others and he literally screams and is not esay to soothe. I am not sure I want to take him with us to the house. If I absouletly have to its cool. I already called my agent and said I am bringing a baby a long--not to look or talk to him until we are there a little bit. He was totally understanding.

It is very cold and we sprung for our heat last night.....the house got way too cold!

We're lucky, we're on the third floor and everything's new with lots of insulation, which kinda sucks in the summer, but is great in the winter. We just close our windows and doors and we're good usually til the end of November. I just had sunnyside eggs and cornbread for breakfast! Mmmm...

Light rain here today, it's Saturday, I COULD NOT BE MORE ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(bad for the raisins, though, which are out on their drying trays ) We haven't seen a cloudy/grEy/overcast/light rain (or any rain) day in.......eight months???????? nothing but PURE SUN and I am so bored with that.

we are babysitting cousin Mojo - - OMG. she has turned old very suddenly......gained so much weight VERY suddenly......panting like crazy and staring a lot, drinking TONS of water - IT"S LIKE TIKA CAME BACK TO LIFE - - so, I immediately suspected a thyroid problem (quite common in older female dogs, Tika was on meds for years) but.......her parents would never take her to the vet to test for this OR remember to give her the meds....... She eats the cheapest, most horrible, artificially-coloUred food available.......we fed her some of our very expensive (CHA-CHING ) Bil Jac food last night and this mornign and she INHALED it.....finally got some nutrients in her.

I'll speak to my brother but....doubt it will do any good.

Such a beautiful day here in Media PA

A really cool crisp Fall day.

Went out to breakfast at my 'safe' place and one friend couldn't make it but the old 3 did get to catch up. Isn't it wonderful that old dear friends can sit down and politics comes up and it's 2 against 1 but we all got such laughs. I told them how precious that was to me right now. Friendships that are so old go so deep across all issues except those memories the bind us...and unconditional love and respect.

I'm batedly (is that a word?) expecting the candidiasis bloodtest results today. With my luck lately I won't hear til who-knows-when ....

Oh jeez here's a development. I think I mentioned a few months ago that a buddy of mine, Tony, had a potential part-time job in the works for me.

Well, it's time.

The requisition was signed off Tuesday and I spent Wednesday - slow brain & all - 'whipping up' <use air quotes> a short resume & cover letter. Took hrs & hrs. (Gah I can feel so inept on some days) Wore me brain out.

Just heard from Tony & I might have an interview as soon as Monday & I have to pretend to be confident that I can physically do it, tho the physical demands aren't much & would be no more than 4hrs at a time.

Still .. ..I really don't know that I can do it but I'm damn sure I have to give it my best shot.

P.S. Have I ever mentioned that I've spent a decent amount of time in Wasilla AK?
