Morning Sillies-

finally got the christmas tree last evening. Then went to go buy a stand and couldn't find one anywhere....thanks goodness the Big K had a few left...goodness knows what we would have to phinagle if we didnt have a stand! Then we are on the way home and we gets a phlat tire....and its so darn cold and poor John boy has to change the tire in the 20 degrees outside.

We also attempted some christmas shopping out there but were not successful, due to finances with the new house our gift budget is a little smaller this year....and we need to buy 3 toys for Silvia, Lydia and Landen.....do you think any toys for their ages come for $15....nope, nothing decent enough to buy.....tis crazy I tell you.....so crazy the whole night deserves a HARRRRRUMMPHH!!!!!!

Whilest in Tarjay yesterday I was plowed over by a grown man, since he refused to shop w/o his IPOD On.....no apology no nothing. Then you have people in the toy aisles that would not move, and literally complained to you when you asked them polielty....by saying excuse me....when you needed to get through. I hate holiday shopping!!! brings out the rude peoples!

So got the Christmas tree all decorated and pretty. Didn't get to me moms yesterday due to bad weather. Looks like we will have more bad weather today as will she....

So there is my sunday morning vent!!!!

Well, we are getting the blast that Toronto had on Friday and yesterday -- LOTS of snow, coming down as if rain, in sheets. . .. . not the big, lovely, fluffy snowflakes floating down, circling. . .. . ..nope. Some pserious psnaough, in psheets, yet!!

We went to a Spiritual church service this morning, and I have been deeply affected, for there was a message from my FIL (who passed away eight years ago) to Will, and then a second one from him to Jack.

Incredible... . . it had to have been him, as the message given by the reverend was just so bang-on. . . . FIL had a very distinct way of speaking and conducting himself. I am a born sceptic, but I sat shaking and wide-eyed as the guest spiritualist medium turned suddenly to Jack and said, "Now, I'll come to you, young man. . . . .your Gumps (the grandkids' unique, to say the least, name for him) has something to say to you".... Very, very special, and I now feel quite peaceful and good. . . . ..

Jack wonders if Gumps can see him when he's going to the bathroom, or in the tub.

I told him that he probably chooses NOT to. . . . ... . ..

It was very scary, the entire right side of the plane caught fire when it was trying to take off. An absolute miracle there were no fatalities. Everyone from the passengers to the fire men can't believe everyone got out ok.

Still snowing!!!

It snowed all night and all day (with the required 'freezing rain' interlude, as it is the Northwest).

I went to a party down the street, leaving Lyle outside. When I came back there were frantic kitty prints pacing around all the doors, so I called him. Lyle shows up, well past mad, thoroughly into 'Thank God' and waddles inside. So I look to see why he's waddling and the poor boy has about a pound of ice balls stuck all over his tummy!

So I gave him a pile of treats and tried to pull off as much as I could. Undoubtedly he's curled up on my bed letting the rest melt.

Gonna try to put some pics on the book
