Any Canadians Use Enterolab?

I was wondering if there have been any Canadians that have used the lab? If so, what company did you use to ship the sample? And, did your doctor's here recognize the test results?

Thank you.

I used them. I shipped overnight with FedEx, and there was no trouble but it was kind of pricey. I haven't shown my doctor the results yet, so can't help you there.

My family has used it and my gastroenterologist was very much interested in the test because the person behind the lab is a valid and significant member of the medical world. As for shipping just couriered it and paid extra for 2 day delivery. You can order what you need online.

Thanks for the info. I had actually emailed them to find out if it was okay.

Waiting for the docs in Canada to do _ANYTHING_ is so time consuming and it would be good to get these tests done.

I am not taking anything except for the multivitamins that I purchased from the supermarket.

The critic acid and sodium citrate is corn unfortunately and they don’t have to label corn because it’s not part of the top 9 allergen and not mandatory 😭

Yaya, from the JAMA study you refer to: "Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity." No one on this forum is recommending  taking anywhere near that amount. We're talking about 5-10,000IU daily.

"Doses higher than the RDA are sometimes used to treat medical problems such as vitamin D deficiency, but these are given only under the care of a doctor for a specified time frame. Blood levels should be monitored while someone is taking high doses of vitamin D." Quoted from the Healthline article @Yaya linked above...
