I've only tried the chocolate. But then why would anyone want any other flavor? Sorry, I'm a confirmed chocoholic. I kind of was hesitant at first too considering the price, but the taste is pretty darn good. I keep it around to have a quick meal for those days when I cannot figure out what to have, or for a quick breakfast on the go.

I tried the vanilla. I thought it was relatively horrible. It's still sitting in my fridge. I've never had Slim Fast before though, so I really didn't know what to expect. It was just too thick and chalky for me to get it down. I drank about half of one and the rest have sat in my fridge since. I'm glad I bought them though... To support the labeling and all...

chocolate is the only ones i could handle before also or the strawberry wasnt too bad. I learned from drinking the ones before being gluten free is that htey have to be really cold to taste good, so im guessing that is how i will have to drink them again. They are on sale this week for 2/10, so i had wanted to buy alot before they went off sale if they tasted any good lol. Well that is if i can find them, I went looking for them on monday and no place had them.

Ahhhhh, it never would have occured to me to drink it warm. That would be right up there with drinking warm milk I would think, bleeech. I pull mine out of the frig to drink or pour over ice. The texture wasn't bad and it has a nice chocolate flavor.

I was meaning very cold, i know to drink them cold, but i like to put mine in the freezer for about 15 minutes to get it really cold then drink it, I use to even put them in the blender with some bananas.

I still cant find them here, but i asked safeway to order me some asap, and they said they will.

I could never lose with slim fast. It did nothing for my appetite...why? It's loaded with sugar. Even the so called low sugar one didn't take my appetite away.

I make my own shake, with almond milk and brewer's yeast (my brand is made on beets not from a brewery). I can't find nutritional yeast or I'd use that too. The only brand my stores carry is Twin Lab which has gluten in it. Making your own is way cheaper.... :)

Welcome Connie Smitj,  Did you have a follow up test to see if the treatment for H Pylori was successful?  It's possible to catch it again, especially from a partner.  When I contracted it a second time my wife was tested and was positive for two of the bacteria in H Pylori.

Welcome to the forum, @Connie Smitj! Can you give us a little more history about your celiac journey? How long ago were you diagnosed and how long have your been gluten free? Do you have other symptoms besides quick onset of hunger after eating and gut pain? How long have these symptoms being happening?

I eat a gluten-free diet but hunger pains start within an hour of eating dinner. I  had h pylori infection before I was diagnosed. Occasionally I’ll have bouts of pain. Could it come back or is it just celiac disease?

Scott, am I missing something? For the TTG-IGA normal is anything 3 or less and his score less than 2. I think that one is in normal range. @Brown42186, if the GI doc is not interested in doing an endoscopy with biopsy of the small bowel lining based on the elevated TTG-IGG I would request a repeat on the bloodwork now that you have resumed gluten consumption again.

Interesting for sure. Have you heard of potential cross reactivity to casein (dairy), corn, milket, iats, rice, and yeast?
