Probiotics

Is there anything a person needs to know when taking probiotics? I want to start taking them, I've heard they can help a lot with intestinal bloating and diarrhea. I thought, though, that I read somewhere in the threads here that a person shouldn't drink dairy products when taking probiotics? Is this true? I am lactose intolerant, so only eat yogurt and drink some lactose free milk occasionally.

do they help you with bloating ?

I just started taking them and haven't learned a whole lot yet. I understand that they help by decreasing the chances of diarrhea and also decreasing bloating or intestinal churning type things. It is worth a try.

I startedtaking them they day I got my tests back. . .almost 2 years ago. . .so I can't remember what it was like first taking them.

@CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.

Yep, the edit window times out very quickly. It's okay. I got a good laugh out of it.

I hope you meant "pen pal" instead of "paypal".

Hi, I would be open to having a paypal. I am celiac as well. And am struggling with all symtoms.
