How long dose it take for gluten to leave the brain?Will there be any long term problems or can the brain heil?I have been dizy.My vision some time comes and goes.I have a kind of hot flash when this happens.My doctor is not up to speed on Celiac.

It's relatively short term. A few days in most cases. That's all to the best of my knowledge, of course. ;-)

i had that weird dizzy feeling w/ headaches and insomnia for the first few days,then it went away. i am now having it again becuz i have given up sugar for awhile. i think when ever you get rid of something your body is used to it freaks out for a few days!! but dont worry, it wont last long!!

      @CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.
