The cold season has arrived in my classroom of second graders and they're all sneezing all over me! I am studying the ingredients on throat lozenges and boy am I confused! The natural herbal things seem suspicious to me---all these plants! Does anyone know of some gluten-free cough drops?

Last time I checked Halls Sugar Free Varieties are gluten-free and also Altoids mints make a great cough drop. The peppermint helps stop coughs. Hope that helps you out, make sure you double check the halls though, it has been since last cold season since I checked it out.

i found a webste--napervillagi.com and it has 23 pages of gluten-free medicines--it says halls sugar free, robitussin cough drops, walgreens throat drops in black cheery, cherry, and menthol--but as always, you should call the 800# on the product--i sometimes just suck on a butterscotch candy or peppermint--hope i helps a little--deb---ps. clanthompson.com has a listing of gluten-free meds too

Thank you for your input!  I would really like to know if I have celiac disease because you need make sure you are not getting any cross contamination due to cancer concerns.  I guess I need to start with a knowledgeable Gastroenterologist. Thank you again!

Correct. I’m doing both in the same go though. Thanks for clarifying before I confused someone. I’m doing a colonoscopy for something else and then they added the endoscopy after the test.

It is a biopsy but it's not a colonoscopy, it's an endoscopy.

Well I’m going on the gluten farewell tour so they are about to find out lol. I keep saying biopsy but yeah it’s a scope and stuff. I’m a dummy but luckily my doctor is not.
