Ending my first full week back on gluten and today has been officially the worst yet! I was having no symptoms other than mild abdominal pain/discomfort. But tod ay back and forth to the bathroom 3 times this morning so far! Miserable!! Sorry just needed to vent as I know you can ALL relate. Thank goodness my appt is next Wed with the GI doc. Can't wait to end the torture!! :o

I apologize for not remembering but how long were you gluten-free? If it was for a while, 11 days of eating gluten isn't nearly enough for an accurate biopsy. If it wasn't for very long you're probably OK.

Richard, I was gluten-free for approximately 5-6days. (But boy was that a blissful 5-6days!!) Nothing I think to damage my chances of a good biopsy. And to be honest, I know I wasn't 100% gluten-free in those 5 days because of not realizing just how much gluten is in everything! :) Thanks though... I certainly hope I get "clean" results. :D

Hope you get your results soon. Please tell us, what came out.

Lots of greetings and hope you get better soon, Stef

5-6 days won't hurt the results.

Thanks guys!

Richard, thanks for the confirmation. I don't know what I'd do if they said "Ooh you gotta keep eating gluten for another month or two just to be sure." I think I'd go nuts. Even if its not my issue, in my head, those few days were great, so... I'd love to go gluten-free. In addition, my boyfriend keeps trying to take me gluten-free. He runs around telling me I can't eat this or that because there is gluten in it! What help! Except, I have to eat gluten, so I told ihm I'm going to have what I can while I can have it! ha ha!

Oh well good intentions, thats what they are! Not to mention, I think everyone is sick of my stomach issues and doctor appointments too!

I'll be sure to let youa ll know what becomes of this Wed. appt. Thanks for all the info!!

Dana ;)

@CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.

Yep, the edit window times out very quickly. It's okay. I got a good laugh out of it.

I wrote that by mistake and there is no where I can edit this.

I hope you meant "pen pal" instead of "paypal".

Hi, I would be open to having a paypal. I am celiac as well. And am struggling with all symtoms.
