Hi, I am a newly-diagnosed celiac, so your input would be so helpful. I will be attending a family Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey will be cooked with traditional stuffing (NOT gluten-free) inside it. Would this be cross-contamination? Or is it ok to eat it?

I wouldn't eat it if I were you. Good chance of getting glutened.

I went to a thankgiving dinner where the gluten stuffing was cooked inside the turkey and I didn't eat it. It's too risky. I just brought my own leftovers. It may seem insulting to some but at least you know you're safe!

That's all that matters B)

Thank you ,celiac3270 and Medaka for your help. I asked the host to cook the stuffing separately so I can at least eat the bird. Will see what happens...

      @CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.
