I fiiiiinally tried Text Message - LOVE IT! It looked really dark in the jar, but is beautiful on and stays looking nice all day.

Text message was waaaay too dark for me as a blush, but it works great as an eyeshadow. It really makes my green eyes pop.

My new favorite look for eyes is rare silk as a base, smoky pink on the lid and in the garden as a liner. In the garden is a purple/brown with just a touch of green and I love the look of it. I love all the browns as liners. It's funny because I never wore brown eyeliner before.

I just did our taxes over the weekend and we are getting back almost twice as much as I thought we would. Woo hoo - more makeup! I just know the next special is going to be great. I am really tempted to order another eyeshadow sampler. But I have already ordered 2. I now have over 20 eyeshadow colors with all the free samples and samplers I have gotten. This is more colors than I have ever owned in all my 37 years on the planet combined. But I still want to keep going! :lol:

I also wore gingerbread man on Friday. The more I wear that color the more I like it.

Hey Mango, what happened to your thoughts on the colors in my cart? :lol:

I LOVE lavender oil too. I buy the pure oil from the health food store and use a few drops in a handful of this natural salve I slather on my face at night. Then I wash and exfoliate in the AM and the result is smooth skin.

I think i need to go back to the health food store and get lavender oil, you all are selling me on this. My skin is getting so much better since using this makeup(and the candida diet), so im not sure which one is doing the job but hey it makes me think i have to keep using this make up lol.

Im going to order soon, i am still trying to figure out what big sample of foundation i want since i use more that i am using it wet now, but it works so much better. Today i got an compliment at the kids school, they are like you really look nice today, sicne i had my hair and makeup done, most days im running in there with my hair still wet and unbrushed lmao.

It might take a while, they seem to be very slow in introducing things they say are 'coming soon'.

I know there is a mascara in the works and they have to get more brushes in...they don't even have an eye liner brush up at all now. That's almost tragic!

Good! I have another fun concotion for you to try! It's a mask...take an egg white and some lemon juice and beat it with a hand blender until it forms peaks. Then, apply to your face, after you've "steamed" it, and let it dry completely, then take it off with cool water. It works great! I did it last night and my skin looks really good today! :D

Ohhhhhhh yeah! LOL

Are these your colors?

Soft Bronzer - I think you will like this. They are not kidding when they say "soft" though. It just adds a really subtle boost of color, without being too noticeable.

Fresh Air - this one has been on my mental wish list for some time lol.

Corner Office - I like this one. It needs to be applied really lightly. It does have some orange in it, but I think it's an orange that works for cool skin tones. I sometimes add a swipe of Soft Touch (pink) over it. This one stays on all day for me too, and it looks very natural.

Email Me - hmmm, I dunno, but I want it LOL

Snooze Bar - this one is pretty popular on MUA:

LOL! It worked for me! Some people say they do it everyday to prevent new acne, but then some say don't do it everyday because your skin gets used to it, and it doesn't work as well.

I usually do masks 2x week.

Do you or does anyone else know which line of makeup products you should not use???? I was just diagnose three weeks ago and I was thinking about the makeup I use and was wondering if I should swiitch. (I use Lancome)

If you're worried about it, you could always order a free sample kit from EM. As you can see, it's quite popular. :lol: All EM make-up is gluten-free (as far as I know).

Ok, I guess when EM says shipped, it does not mean it is out the door and on the way. Shipped must mean "we printed the label". Anyway, my order showed "shipped" for 2 days, but the tracking number wouldn't work. Finally, Saturday it showed that it wasn't picked up until 6:00pm Friday evening.

I did the 2 day DHL, but now it says it won't be here until Tues. 5:00pm. I have to leave town Tuesday afternoon, so I probably won't get it in time. Oh well, live and learn.

At the bottom of each peson's quote there is a little button that says quote. Click each one you want to respond to, and then click add reply at the bottom of the page. When the reply box comes up, it will be populated with all the posts you wanted to respond to. Just snip out the part you don't want and leave the rest.

I found that a combination of Thiamine, Cobalamin and Pyridoxine (all water soluble B vitamins) work effectively for my back pain.       Here is the info from their website. If you don't trust them, you may find products that are labelled "gluten-free," but I don't see any reason to believe there is any gluten in them. One book I read is called, Doing Harm, by Maya Dusenbery.  She has wonderful perspective and insight, and it's all research-based.  It's about how women can't get treated.  Everyone should read this!  I wouldn't mind reading it again, even.  She believes that women are so busy taking care of families, working, etc., that we are more likely to ignore our pain and symptoms for longer.  Men have women bugging them to go to the doctor.  Women don't have anyone telling us that.  We don't have time to go.  Providers think we are over-emotional, histrionic, depressed, have low tolerance to pain...Men get prescribed opioids for the same symptoms women are prescribed anti-depressants.  My car crash in January 2020 made going to the doctor a full-time job.  I grew up with 2 rough and tumble brothers, played outside, climbed trees.  I was tough and strong, pain didn't bother me, I knew it would heal.  But do you think I could get treated for back pain--as a woman?  I am so familiar now with the brush-offs, the blank looks, the, "Take your Ibuprofen," the insinuation that I am just over-reacting, trying to get attention, or even, "Drug Seeking."  Took almost 2 years, but what was happening was Degenerative Sacroiliitis.  I couldn't walk right, my gait was off, effected my entire spine because gait was off.  I had braced myself with my legs in a front-impact, slightly head-on crash with someone who made a left turn in front of me from the opposite direction.  I finally had SI Joint Fusion surgery, both sides.  It's not a cure. I have given up on trying to get properly treated.  There is so much pain with these spine issues caused by bad gait:  scoliosis, lithesis, arthropathy, bulged disc, Tarlov cysts.  And I can't take anything because of my bad tummy. Not that I would ever hurt anyone, but I can relate to Luis Mangione who couldn't get treated for his back injury. I feel so alone.

I didn't realize it till after I left and went home--MALTODEXTRIN.  I was miserable the whole time. The second gastroenterologist I saw made the tentative diagnosis of microscopic colitis.  Usually occurs in women over 60, I was 59, had been in a crash, (2020) was taking alot of NSAIDS, muscle relaxants.  Had constant diarrhea, gas, leaking.  Unbearable, and I didn't know it was NSAIDS.  I was scheduled for two-way endoscopy, mouth to butt, but they wanted $2,000 up front.  Finally, had a colonoscopy in 2022, 10 biopsies, didn't find a thing!  MC can go into remission, which I was, of course, desperate to do.  No more NSAIDS, tried to cut down on all the other pain killers, everything, chemicals that I knew triggered me.  So, no, they didn't find anything.  So sad that we have to make ourselves sicker and more injured to get a proper diagnosis!
