I really like it. I don't know how it would work for EM, but it's a great case!

I think I shall take a few hundred  of my EM containers with me to the Sephora store and see how they work.

LOL! You could ask them their return policy. That way you can take it home, put your EM containers in it, then if it doesn't work, bring it back! LOL! That's what I'd do.

Everyone what are you supposed to use the pink me up pink concelor for, i cant remember why i got it lmao

I read that it makes a good concealer for dark circles. I was skeptical, but it does actually work better for me than the sunlight concealer.

I ordered mine a WEEK ago and paid for the express shipping!!! It's not here yet! : (

I did the same thing once. Express DHL means "we'll bring it when we feel like it". It took longer to get it express than it did to get regular mail.

Now I have an order lost in the mail zone. Priority mail has shown the number all week, but says it may not actually be at the post office yet. I have already received a subsequent order, so something is wrong. I emailed EM, but don't have an answer yet.

The good news for me is that I finally found my foundation color - fawn. I am so happy, now I can move on to find out which formulation I like best. Orange glow is out. It makes me itch for some reason.

I finally got into see the local hair nazi. He is sooo hard to get into see. His rules are very strict about appointments and you have to book months in advance. Anyway, as it turns out, he is definitely worth the wait. My hair cut is wonderful. He actually sat down and talked to me first and looked at my face shape and explained why he wanted to cut it a certain way. I am going to try to post my picture so you can see it. I was going to have to wait a few more months to get color, but he liked the outcome of the cut so much that he told them to sqeeze me in somewhere in the next 2 weeks. I can't wait to see what he does with that. I am mostly gray right now.

Oh, and you can see my make up too. Fawn foundation, soft touch blush, cozy nights lip gloss, samba lessons eye liner and crease, good china eye base, chamomile on brow bone, pots and pans on lid.

I hope you get your order soon.

Thanks for the tip about Pick me Up Pink and dark under eye circles, I am going to try that and compare the results with the Sunlight.

And congrats on finding your foundation match!

I would love to visit the "hair nazi" and make a radical change with my hair, but I'm too chicken. Good for you for being so brave, looking forward to seeing the picture :)

There you are in your avatar WW340, I couldn't see it before my previous post

Thanks Everybody!

How about a brush??? Since the foundation brush is out of stock for eternity, what makes a good brush?

I found this one Open Original Shared Link

The mascara sold on this site is the same one from Monave so if hte brush is okay I'll order the two from them.

How whaky is this - all these years I've dealt with red eyes, itchy eyes and now I discover it is my mascara. I've had it on for about 2 hours and my eyes are red!! I hope the lashes will fill back in over time. I'm going to stop for awhile and wear mascara only when I leave the house.

Thanks Again

I've got the no makeup look going on today, lol! I woke up late so had to do a quickie.

Skipped the concealor and finishing dust primer and went straight for the foundation, which today is the new color Golden-Winged Butter. I really like this shade...looks very good and natural on. I think it's a good match for my neck...maybe better than the warm shades I tried. I wish they'd do one more lighter shade in the warm category...I think that would really work for me. I may try mixing golden and warm shades to see what happens.

The other thing is did was use the Summer Silk Dust as a blush...it's almost like a bronzer for me, lol. I don't know what else I can wear it for, so blush is probably all...it's a tiny bit gritty, so probably wouldn't want to put it on my eye area, although the color would be good for shadow.

Glass Bottom Boat is not nearly as bad on as in the jar, lol. In the jar it screams bright light aqua, but on it's a subtle smokey shade...barely any color to speak of on me...just the tiniest hint of greenish blue. I put chamomile on as a base...very pretty and sparkley...looks a little like the sunlight concealor but sheerer and very much more sparkly, lol. Then I used emerald as an eyeliner. I wish this was just the tiniest bit darker green, but it looks good. It's not quite dark enough for my taste as a liner, but it's a nice darker green eye color for those that like green.

I think I've also figured out why none of the eye colors are very pigmented for me...I almost ALWAYS put concealor all over the eye area, from lashes up to the brow, then I put finishing dust all over, then foundation, then a base color (which is usually very light) all over, THEN the color. No wonder the color isn't pigmented...it's mixing with all the lighter base things...sometimes three layers of them, lol. Today I just had a little bit of foundation, and while the colors were still muted, I can at least tell what they are. :P

GREAT picture!!! You look beautiful!

Yeah for hair nazis, lol. My hairdresser is a very semi hair nazi, lol. She will NOT let me go grey. :P She told me as long as she is breathing I MUST keep my hair dyed.

That looks like a good one. Do you have a Target nearby (oh wait, I think you're the one that would rather order than go to the store, lol)...anyway, they have a line by some lady...Sonia Kushkuk, or something like that...anyway, the brushes are pretty good...not QUITE as inexpensive as EM, but very soft and she has a lot of different types.

WW340! You look so great in your picture. I am still not brave enough to post a picture of myself, no matter how good may makeup looks.

I found a new combination that looks great today. Good china all over, snowflakes on the lid and mystic night as a liner. Very hot, if I do say so myself.

The DHL site says my order is projected to be delivered on 2/29, but the email I got last evening said it was still in SLC. Looks like I might not get it today after all. Bummer. Does DHL deliver on Saturdays? I was looking forward to playing with makeup when I got home from work tonight.

Glad to know about the Glass Bottom Boat. I almost didn't order because the specials didn't look that great. But then I decided I didn't care, I just wanted my order.

I totally agree about the emerald as an eyeliner, I love it for that, but would like it just a tad darker. I wonder if adding a little smoky would ruin the color.

Sorry to say, I don't think they deliver on Saturday. I know they don't here at least.

LOL I HAVE to laugh at myself....I just got home from sephora, I'm SPACKLED (why the use florecent lighting in a make up store is BEYOND ME!) , flew on here to tell yall about the make up I just bought thinking it was the right one....I bought ......wait for it.....Bare Minerals. CRAP! lol oh well! I like it though, I have heard a bunch of girls talking about it for a while now and a few girls skin has cleared RIGHT UP! That really shocked me!

I love makeup, I have ALWAYS been a MAC girl, have the make up box, 15 pallets and everything, but the Studio Fix just isn't working like it used to.

Bare Minerals has a starter kit for $60 and for counter make up, that's not that bad. Only time and my best friends (I'm seeing them all tonight) will tell (good LORD will the friends be honest and i LOVE THAT!) So I'l sure you will hear from me tomorrow...an update if you will! :)

Ok so much to say...

Golden-Winged Butter, the name alone sounds scrumptious! I bet if you mixed it with a lighter shade you will come up with what you need.

The Summer Silk Dust can probably be used like the sunkissed color the girl in the video that Kass posted used, just a very little bit with a very light hand all over to give that "touch of sun" look.

Thank for the GBB review. I think it sounds like a perfect Spring color.

That's what I like about the EM colors though, the subtleness. They aren't screaming "you have make-up on" when you are wearing them.

I so wish you would post your picture Colleen, I would love to see all of the looks you have created with your EM, it always sounds so pretty when you give your daily list of colors :)

I totally agree about the emerald as an eyeliner, I love it for that, but would like it just a tad darker. I wonder if adding a little smoky would ruin the color.

You should try it, it just might work.

In my other make-up life, pre EM  , I used really dark greens and browns and blended them together and that blending of the two together really created an extra depth that the colors didn't have on their own.

My order is here. :D I'm happy to report that no dhl delivery people were harmed in the process. :P

My favorite colors so far are:

Pink Pajamas  gorgeous sparkly pink

Floating Feathers   nice white shimmer

and Diary    really beautiful shimmery and slightly complex lavender

Cherry Fizz lip gloss is nice. Sort of brings the natural color of my lips w/out making it look like I'm wearing lipstick.

It turns out the 3 pounds was mostly wet wipes. Who knew those packages were so dang huge?

Someone asked about mixing Emerald with Smokey I think. I've done that and it works well. I also like to mix smokey with Favorite Hoodie to create a smokey brown shade.

Thanks for your reviews, the burning question I have is what do you think of GBB and Mojave?!?!?!

dlp252 Apprentice

Dang, busted by the emoticon police!!!!:lol:

Good news. My mom said my face matched my neck!!!!   Today's foundation was Golden-Fair...I've worn that before but not in intensive. My spreadsheet tells me that I thought Golden Fair Matte was a little light, so I guess formulation can alter the color slightly because it was not too light.

My aunt didn't even know I was wearing makeup (not sure how she missed the blush (story below, lol), wonder if her being 71 has anything to do with it, lol). She DID notice and like my lip gloss (not EM) though. :P

So, I've decided to NOT get the Sephora train case. I went in today to look at it again with the intention of buying it, but when I got there it was just huge. Much more huge than I remember, lol. So I think I'm going to pare down what I have in my "everyday" case somehow and go for cute. So I'm going to order the smaller cuter case like Paula's. I DID buy more lip gloss and some nail polish. :P It's spring weather here today and my toes are freshly painted. :P Next up...decals on my toes.

Okay, for todays color reviews:

Mojave Camping: Um, WOW. Very, very pigmented, lol. It's a very nice red, but very pigmented so be careful out there. Blush responsibly folks. It looked great once I put a dusting of finishing powder over.

New eye colors: Swing Set...just what the heck color is this anyway, lol. I can't tell. It's nice on, but I don't think it quite went with my next color. Morocco...very nice and smokey...kind of a dark wine. I liked it. Again, wasn't quite dark enough for a liner for me, but after putting near the lashes and up into the crease, I added some Samba Lessons to it for a liner.

Who are we kidding anyway, this cult is really all about the girly make-up talk

  So very true...it is for me anyway.

I liked Morocco, but it ended up turning a little too red for my eyes ( I tend to look red there anyway). Don't know what I can do with it now.

My lost order finally showed up. I thought olive fair might be a possibility for me, but it doesn't look good. I did get chit chat blush though, and I think I will like it, I have it on and will see if it turns colors.

My next order is already on it's way:

Thanks for your reviews, the burning question I have is what do you think of GBB and Mojave?!?!?!

I've been trying to take a pic of my eyes to show you all GBB, but it just isn't working. I have mixed feelings about this one. I think it has the potential to be one of those colors that I don't know about at first, but then love later.

It's basically an aqua bluish shade. I wore it today with Floating Feathers and it just didn't really show up. It almost looks greyish on me when mixed with FF. I mostly blame the EM eye brush for this little mishap though. How does anybody get the eye shadows to show up with that thing?

Mojave - I haven't been brave enough to open it yet. It's red. Very, very red. Perhaps it will make a bold and daring lip color. I don't know. More on that later. :P

Nah, I'm thinking he's liking his cute sexy thing with the new makeup. :P

How does anybody get the eye shadows to show up with that thing?

Exactly! Which is why I also bought two eyeshadow brushes at Sephora...big fluffy eyeshadow brushes. Oh, did I forget to mention the brushes I bought earlier. Sheesh, one would think I had a DH to justify stuff too. :P

Hi Scott, You mentioned in your response that you have been taking supplements long term.  What brand(s) do you take?  I ask because I've had a very difficult time finding truly gluten free supplements that have not made me sick over time from allowable trace amounts of gluten within the FDA's acceptable limits. Thank you, Peg

I suggest you look at your calorie intake. If you're not eating enough calories, your body will signal you to wake up and forage for more food. You need to be eating more calories than a healthy person of normal weight in order to gain weight. Also, your diet is extremely low in fat unless you are eating chicken thighs with the skin on, which I would recommend. Also be sure to add butter (real butter) to your vegetables. You can measure and record everything you eat, then look up and calculate what your protein/carb/fat intake is. Or just eat more chicken rather than filling up on vegetables and fruit.

Since your mother has celiac disease, I would still keep an eye on this as there is a genetic component. Study results vary wildly, but the numbers are that anywhere from 10% to almost 50% of the first degree relatives of those with active celiac disease will themselves develop celiac disease.

Your initial test showed a moderately raised level of IgA tTG2. There are several causes of this apart from coeliac disease including: inflammation of the joints, bowel and liver. Transient rise in levels can be caused by an infection.
