I know this s a dead horse, I have a flour problem.. (besides bobs mill which has this weird after taste,) what is something easy to get from whole foods? I want a general flour that I can use.. I can add what ever but something that works for gravy to cookies... what is everyone using . ( I have been also using pamelas all purpose.. but wanted to use my kinnick flour.. i need help I am trying to call the company but they are not in yet.

so who has the best flour .. and what do you have to do to it to make it work help. chris

Hi Chris,

I use a mixer of flours. Bette Hagman mixture is 2 cups White Rice Flour, 2/3 cup Potato Starch Flour and 1/3 cup Tapioca flour.

I find this very good. For gravy just use cornflour.

Here in Australia you can get coconut flour and it mixed with rice flour makes the best pancakes

Hi Chris

I have been sampling gluten-free flours & products for several years now. I use betty hageman's four bean flour (I know many don't care for the bean). I use betterbatter flour that is a one to one ratio 9 you do not add anything to it) just use as you would reg. wheat flour. It is on sale as I write to you. This is the flour mix that a large pizza chain uses for there pizza crusts. I have not tried Domata Living FLour yet but it also is used by a large pizza chain.

In the past I have use Tom Sawyer & it is a very good flour too. When I use annalise roberts recipes I use her flour recipe.

Any of these flours are excellent.

@CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.

Yep, the edit window times out very quickly. It's okay. I got a good laugh out of it.

I hope you meant "pen pal" instead of "paypal".
