Do Your Symptoms Vary With Gluten Amounts?

I was wondering if anyone noticed that their symptoms vary depending on if they were cc glutened and actually ate something with gluten. When I have some symptoms but not all of my "normal" symptoms I think maybe it is cc, but maybe its just I don't feel good. Like when I have eaten something that has gluten (on accident) I get headaches for 3-4 days, D for a few days, and depressed - no denying it symptoms. But there are times I get the headache and depressed and not the D and I wonder if I got a little bit somewhere. I have not replaced my poys & pans and strainer yet and I am using some face washes / creams that I am not sure about and I know I get some in my mouth and I wonder if its related. The obvious answer is to replace the what ifs, but what about trace amounts in restaurant food.... do you get more mild symptoms, or the same. I know the damage is the same but what about the symptoms?

A little cc equals the mouth ulcers and a little emotional for a few days. Anyting more is full blown pain and depression and fatigue that doesn't fully end for a couple weeks.

Perhaps you'll need to mix your own cocktails?

Your son has two positive blood tests for celiac disease, plus a positive biopsy for it...why hasn't your doctor diagnosed him with celiac disease, which is the most likely diagnosis based on the test results you shared? The next step should be a gluten-free diet, which your doctor already recommended.

I am glad to hear you are not taking acid blocking meds as they increase gut PH which inhibits mineral absorption which, in turn, often causes the body to rob it's own bones of the calcium it needs for various metabolic processes. I was asking about that because acid reflux is very common in the celiac community.

I am not taking anything except for the multivitamins that I purchased from the supermarket.

This is what my Cardiologist prescribed for my weight.  My husband is prescribed 10,000 units.  When I say prescribed I do not mean a prescription is needed, just that the 2 respective dosages are what he ordered according to our size/weight.  My cardiologist is accepted as one of Houston's leading cardiologists.
